[holy shit you guys there is a planet, like, an actual planet now. what are you gonna do? get out and look? marvel at the locals? search for aliens? stand around your ship and questioning every life choice you've made up until this point? hang around in orbit because planets are for squares?

this is mostly for early stuff, so please feel free to make your own posts in the next couple of weeks with more planet (or station, or ship!) shenanigans.]

[Okay, so the Wonderduck may have experienced a bit of a rough landing. What? It was his first time landing on a planet and that turbulence was insane! But other than your stuff getting knocked around and maybe some space-sickness- you guys should be alright.]

[Once that's landed and squared away, Kaneis decided to leave the ship to venture out and explore the town. The first day, he can easily be found wandering around the settlement- either checking out the festival or seeing about ways to earn some money or information. As usual, he seems more prone to keeping to himself.]

[Though sometimes, you might catch him in one of the shops breaking that loner act - instead he seems to be cheerfully flirting and charming the female shopkeepers into giving him discounts and free stuff.]

[What? It's legit]

[ There is someone......watching you. How unnerving.

Well, kind of. But he's not really doing anything. Except for the part when he greets Kaneis outside one of the shops, waving. ]

Hey, hey~ You seem to really know your way around here! You must be a really fast learner~

[Oh lovely. A cheerful one. Kaneis stops and frowns a little when this guy he's never spoken to waves to him. He doesn't have orange skin- so he must be part of the fleet. Maybe he just has a question]

Need something?

Mm, not really~ It's just kind of boring here with no one to talk to.

[ Yes, on a planet full of people, no one to talk to. ]

[oh nope nope nope. Not going down this road]

...There's a whole city of people here. Most of them thrilled to talk.

[ Might sound like he means conversation-wise, but it's more "in general." ]

[ kaneis is not the only one to keep to himself; riku tries to stay away from most.

he's far more of a people watcher, after all--so while he notes that kaneis is around, he doesn't stop to talk. what's really weird is that he can't quite feel what he usually would from this world. no heart, no... nothing. he's not even sure if there's real magic here, and that's weird.

either way, he's decided to silently peruse the shops, just to see if there's anything useful... of course, when he spots kaneis at the front of the shop, he's a little confused. even moreso when he's flirting. as the shopkeeper turns around to fix something upon the shelves, he makes a rather pointed "what are you doing?" look straight at him. ]

[Oh hey, he might not spot Riku right away, but he knows that feeling when someone is watching him with pointed disapproval. He gives a lazy glance over his shoulder, expecting it to be someone he doesn't care about- to see oh, it's Riku. That makes things different]

[So while the shopkeeper is off fixing things on shelves. He'll approach him.]

Hey. Been here long?

[ hey don't try to flirt with him he's not gonna pick up on it

riku just looks at him sort of oddly. ]

Not really, I've been looking for anything that might be useful.

Oh, I've been doing essentially the same thing.

Some things, here and there. Not a lot of book selection though- and their hair products aren't great either. [He sighs]

Oh no, don't tell me your hair's actually supposed to be white. [THAT'S SCARY RIKU]

Hey, I'm not dirty! I just-- [ he sharply looks back down at the books he was going through. ] It's not necessary for me. So I don't really get it.
