When: Within the first couple of days that the planet shows up.

[holy shit you guys there is a planet, like, an actual planet now. what are you gonna do? get out and look? marvel at the locals? search for aliens? stand around your ship and questioning every life choice you've made up until this point? hang around in orbit because planets are for squares?

this is mostly for early stuff, so please feel free to make your own posts in the next couple of weeks with more planet (or station, or ship!) shenanigans.]

[he points at his face! look at it, it's whole and stuff!]

Next time something happens to me that I dislike, can I shoot you in the face?

[he... does not answer, but he looks a little like he's considering it...]

That is terrible! No one should be just... just shooting you because they get mad!

I know, I know... [he waves his hand--get off his case.] You're the one who asked.

So what are you going to do?

[he breathes out, a little tight.]

I'm going to talk to him when he's calmed down.

[... The look she gives him could best be described as incredulous.]

You're going to talk to him?

Well, he's not going to shoot me again.

[which he says in kind of a "well, duh" sort of way--this is just a normal Tuesday to him, unfortunately.]

... You realize that him doing it in the first place is disgusting, right?

[he's just... full of breaths and huffs, today. this one's accompanied with a wince.]

I never said he was a good person...

[She just. Stares at him.

Suddenly she feels dirty and wants to be out of here.]

[...he sinks back down between the gear...]

I'm fine, Rin. That's all that matters.

That's not true...

[She looks away though. Ugh, she came here for a reason but she's not gonna pursue it now.]

Anyway... I'm leaving.

[he... stays exactly where he is, eyeing her...]

I made it bad, didn't I?

You just... should know better, Robin...

[Which isn't strictly fair to say, and which she kind of knows isn't fair, but still.]

And you should have better than someone who shoots you because of a temper tantrum.

[and, see, this is what he gets for telling the truth. it's a bad mix--both being more inclined to be honest with Rin, and having a constant, low-level obsession with Tek because of what they did in his heart. he's never been good at this kind of thing, but now... he smiles, despite how terrible it is.]

I'm sorry, there's nothing I can say that'll make me look any better.

I guess this is just one bad decision I'm all right making.

[Well, obviously if that's how he feels there's nothing she can do. She looks at him, kind of shaking her head, and really walks off now.]
