Who: ANYONE!
Broadcast: ANYTHING!
Action: Probably either on or around the October planet!
When: Within the first couple of days that the planet shows up.
[holy shit you guys there is a planet, like, an actual planet now. what are you gonna do? get out and look? marvel at the locals? search for aliens? stand around your ship and questioning every life choice you've made up until this point? hang around in orbit because planets are for squares?
this is mostly for early stuff, so please feel free to make your own posts in the next couple of weeks with more planet (or station, or ship!) shenanigans.]

[he lifts his free hand to mimic drawing little lines along his own mouth]
Just a little bit. Not quite so garish as they have it, of course.

[it'd be pretty cute, he thinks. his eyes would glow nicely against dark circles...]
The prettiest skeleton in town.

[it would be super cute. he's sure of it now.]
It's been a while since there has been a crowd worth blending into.

[including, perhaps, the future. he tugs him gently to the side, pulling him into a place that doesn't look all that much different than the others--but it's good food and booze and an upstairs balcony that looks like it might even be made of wood in some places.]
no subject
the balcony area seems nice. he'll head them there.]

they've got a good view, if you like gross space settlements. at least the festivities are interesting.]

but looks can be deceiving.]
...I never thought I'd say this, but I miss the tower.
no subject
Why do you say that?

[he has priorities.]

[he nods. maybe there's more...]

I remember when I thought that world was strange.
[--and distant and horrible, and all of the things that seem laughable now]

[see, this is a conversation he didn't know he wanted to have. it almost surprises him how easily he sinks his own teeth into it. but it is kind of unfathomable, beings like them being picked up and placed down like chess pieces on a board they cannot possibly fathom.]

You know, someone said that maybe once you've been displaced, it's easier for you to be moved around again and again.
Like an uprooted plant.
no subject
It's a good theory. I don't have anything to disprove it.
no subject
Are you still waiting for it all to go back to normal?
no subject
Was I ever? I don't know...
no subject
...You've never been anxious to get back?
no subject
[he'll admit that much with certainty. it's not that bad. anyone would be homesick, and Tek's hardly an exception.]
But my world has never been very good to me. Looking at it from all the way out here, wherever this is... The idea of going back gets very complicated.
no subject
[what with the whole demigod thing and all that.
...and see? it's almost like a getting-to-know-you date. starting over.]
no subject
[was he always this open, talking to Tek? maybe he was. the fact that he can't remember means that it's been far too long. he leans forward, over the table.]
Let's start with drinks.
no subject
[he'll either afford it or terrorize someone until he gets what he wants. a standard lunch with Tek.]

[please let's not get started on the spacefood. and he lifts his chin in the direction of the menu, since he has very little interest in bothering to look at it himself.]
Anything look good?
no subject
[he will put down the menu and actually point to what he's looking at--since Stick cannot be assed to come up with space food.]
