[ Bull Chuckles, smiling suggestively. ]

Yeah, you use that imagination of yours, big buy. We'll see where it goes. I came here to get paid to hit shit, though. Really does it for me. I think we could double the rate if we teamed up. What do you say, Kramm?

[krammbunctious]

[Kramm practically wiggles. If he had a tail, it would have been wagging.]

It would be my pleasure. Nothing more satisfying than knocking a few heads together, definitely more fun with a team.

[ Bull may very well have found something better than fighting a dragon: fighting with one.

Okay, Kramm wasn't a dragon, but he was the closest thing here.

And he was pretty damned good in bed, too. Oh, this was going to be good. ]

Lot of cargo going between islands in need of protection. I like the sound of that.

[Kramm rumbles in agreement. ]

I like the sound of that too. I'm not used to being this ... stagnant. [Helping people and possibly beating bad guys up was his favorite combination! And to fight alongside Bull? Should be a breeze .]

Yeah? [ To be honest, Bull's not surprised to learn that. ] What'd you do back home?

[krammbunctious]

Mostly wander around looking for work, but there's always something to be found. Clearing out infestations, escorting relics, even fighting off invaders from small towns.

[He leans back in his seat and stretches.] I'm pretty handy with a mace, if I do say so myself.

[theirondragon]

We started out that way. [ He smiles. ] Me and the boys, we didn't have much of a name for ourselves back then, you know, so we took what jobs we could get Now? The Bull's Chargers are the most sought after mercenary company in all of southern Thedas. [ And he laughs, a fond sound. ] I could tell you stories.

[ But that smile wavers a bit. ]

Shit, I miss those guys.

[ But you know, judging from the strength in those arms, he doesn't doubt that for a minute, Kramm. ]

Yeah, I bet you are. You've got a firm grip.

[krammbunctious]

[Wide eyes,] You've got a whole party named after you?!

[Amazed, inspired, awed ... he can hardly imagine sticking with the same group for more than a couple weeks, the idea of having anything like "Kramm's Chargers". The Bull was giving him life goals, here.]

How long were you with them? My parties ... they tended to come and go.

[He was itching to get out and get into trouble, though; he wanted to show Bull he was more than a good lay.]

[He grins.]

When I first got into the business, I was in a group called Fisher's Bleeders. Fisher was a shit commander, though...so I decided to go solo, took some of his best men with me...oh...15 years ago?

Mercenaries. That's pretty awesome.

You been with them that whole time? Before coming here, I mean.

[theirondragon]

[He nods.] Yeah. They're a crazy bunch of assholes, but they're mine.

[The tone in his voice is almost like...a father.]

[krammbunctious]

That sounds nice. [He smiles, thinking back on some of the people he'd met while adventuring.]

I never really stick with any one group for too long. People tend to split and go their own way once the job is done.

[theirondragon]

Sometimes, yeah, but if you put a group together, get a good name, start getting a reputation as a group of people who get a job done right...then you can start taking payment upfront, and get the good shit.

[krammbunctious]

Huh ... I never thought about it that way. [Kramm wasn't exactly motivated by money, not like some other people he'd met. The idea of a stable group, and a reputation, though? It's something to dream about!] Do you think I would have fit in with your mercenaries?

[theirondragon]

[He nods.] Yeah. See, Qunari aren't exactly common down south, which is where we work. We've got a reputation for being a bunch of misfits. We've got Skinner. She's an elf who got tired of being a victim, so she turned her knives on a few humans who mistreated her people. They would have killed her, but she's got a place now. Dalish, her Clan kicked her out, right? Something about not having too many mages around. Rocky, too. He's our explosives expert, but after he blew up the wrong building, he got exiled to the surface. That's as good as dead for most dwarves. My second, Krem? He's what we call Aqun-Athlok. It means one who was born one gender, but lives as another. Back in Tevinter, they don't let women fight in the military, so he ran. Now he doesn't have to hide.

[He grins, nodding.]
