Honestly? Blood doesn't necessarily mean better. You could have parents or siblings by blood, but if they don't give a shit about you, then that just means you're tied to them.

You can make a family your own with people you choose.

Sometimes it happens without you realizing it. That 'hey, I actually really care about this person and they care about me'..

[ It had happened with Michonne, slowly breaking past her cold exterior, becoming her friend, then a confidant. She's his best friend, and it took a while to get there, but she's family. He regrets not being able to call her mom. Maybe Judith will be able to some day. ]

[ Yeah, it just seems very unbelievable. Even Loki has changed and has no wish to regress back, finding people that care about him — it was never on the cards nor would he delude himself ]
