[But rather than continuing an argument that she knows is just going to end as no you, Leia has her eyes on a different prize, and urges her bird forward, swooping toward the building they've been racing toward.]

[ He urges his feathery steed onward, which initially makes it swoop side to side, uselessly pulling away from the course she's plotted out. But he does speed up, eventually drawing back, nearly neck and neck with her. ]

Leia tries to urge her bird faster, but it's not much use at the moment. The bird either can't or doesn't want to fly faster than it's already going, instead squawking its disapproval at being told to go faster.]
What is it they say about cheaters?

That they work really hard to get good at it?
[ Leia, have you never seen a card game between two very accomplished card sharps? It's all the drama of a real game, but way more surprises. ]

[And that small distraction is just enough for her to fall just barely short of Han in reaching the target, something she realizes mid sentence. The mildly amused but bewildered expression from before fades as Leia exhales sharply, frowning in what's totally not her being visibly annoyed at all, nope.]

He crows in delight as he rounds the building, and apparently his joy is mildly infectious since the bird squawks too, flaring its wings jubilantly as they float in a tight circle. ]

[Even if he's being a sore winner, it's still a nice change of pace, and she does still enjoy being around him. Even if he's getting on her nerves.]

[That's a pretty long way down if he does. Not that Leia would let him fall--she'd try and catch him, if she can. But it's the principle of the thing.
That said, Leia glances around, looking for things that may stand out and that she may want to get a closer look at. There's a lot of them, to say the least.]

[He may have insisted he was lost or took a wrong turn down a shady sort of alley, but Leia's not clueless, nor has she forgotten about it. She can't guess exactly what he was doing, but she can make a vague guess.]
