Experiencing some culture
Who: Biffy and YOU
Broadcast: No
Action: Planetside
When: Various points through the month
Shopping
[Anyone who knows Biffy will know that of course he is going to take advantage of the shopping that is available here. Not only does he need to be shopping for himself but he also needs to be shopping for a certain captain who signed his wardrobe away to him. (Minus pieces of sentimental value naturally.)
That means that he can easily be found in various shops looking through what is available. At times he can be seen with some nicely wrapped packages or with some bags. Never more than a few at a time though. He would never burden himself so utterly with an overflowing load of purchased items. He has far too much pride in his appearance for that obviously.
But this does mean he's quite easy to run into it. Feel free to do so. He's even willing to give recommendations for items for you to purchase.]
Theater
[It's been a little while since he's had the chance to properly go to the theater. This life doesn't appear to really allow for it. A shame really since he's terribly fond of it. He remembers going to plenty of shows years ago when he was but a drone. Supporting the other boys in their artistic endeavors. Even now he smiles fondly at the thought as he stands in the lobby waiting for the show to start.
Everyone knows that you don't go your seat immediately, after all. One must first mingle a little then find your seat just before the curtain rises. That way various fashions can be compared and admired. It's terribly obvious really.
More than likely he's brought someone he knows to the show with him. If not then feel free to run into him. He does love to socialize.]

Uh - good. I'm told they're my best feature.
[ He continued to follow Biffy, reminding himself he had gotten himself into this situation, and it was best to just shut up and take it, even if he might not agree with Biffy's initial choices. Just - give them a chance. It wasn't going to help things to act like a brat. ]
Are all your clothes back home specifically tailor made?
[ There isn't mocking in his tone, it's an honest question. It would make sense, he thought. Biffy was titled, and that usually meant money and also appearances to keep up, which Biffy seemed very good at. In that sense, he should be so lucky that Biffy had agreed to help him, even if he had been somewhat joking at the time. It was like getting a world champion to instruct a novice. ]

[He frowns which says how he feels about that as he grabs a couple more pieces then indicates he should come with him to the changing rooms. Setting the clothes up on the hangars, he slips out to let the man change.
Kirk is going to find himself in for a surprise when he finds that the cloth all feels good against his skin while also being breathable and durable to match an active lifestyle like his own. Biffy has been keeping that in mind even if Kirk wasn't sure if he was.]

[ Kirk steps into the changing room, looking at the clothing with just a little trepidation. They weren't bad colors or anything, or even bad clothes on their own. He was sure that anyone who had them on would cut a nice figure. He just had a bit of a hard time imagining himself in them, was all. But he was a man of adventure, wasn't he? Going where no man had gone before? Surely he could handle putting on a new set of pants.
Kirk took what he assumed to be the first outfit and slipped it on. His body wasn't very wide, leanings towards a lithe sort of athleticism. All that running, usually from things with teeth. He brushed the shirt down and absently rolled the sleeves up to his elbow before stepping out. ]
Well? Halfway up to muster?

...Takes a deep breath and lets it go. One step at a time. One. Step. The fact that Kirk has the clothes on is a start he's happy with. So he moves forward and starts to move around him so he can look at how the clothes fit.]
Yes, I like this. I can have this ordered up in your size easily. Though how do you feel in this? I did pick the fabric to account for your rather...active lifestyle.
no subject
[ He can see, but he doesn't much care. Biffy is no doubt more the fashionista than Kirk is - he would never deny that - but he can't resist putting in a few of his own tweeks here and there. Kirk relaxed, half-watching Biffy work around him. ]
That's a polite way of putting 'runs a lot from things that want to eat him'.
[ He shifted, stretching his arms up and then doing a few quick squats and pushing back up. ]
It moves easier than I thought it would, and it's not as heavy as I imagined either. I don't hate it. It's just - different, still. I like the colors though.
no subject
[He shakes his head but looks amused at the same time.]
You should look at yourself in the mirror. I think you will like it more when you see what it does for your figure and color compared to what you were wearing before.
no subject
I was about to say - it's not like I choose to get into those situations, they just... tend to happen around me.
[ It's only half a lie. He really doesn't go into situations wanting to have to run away, but there's always the possibility it might happen too. You hope for the best and plan for the worst, as they say. He flicked a quick look at Biffy, not quite disbelieving him, per say, just not quite sure what to expect. He walked to the mirror, standing before it and running his hands over the shirt. It wasn't... bad. Not what he was used to, or would have been really seen himself in on his own, but it wasn't bad. He did like the color, at least. ]
I still say black looks fine on me, but this color does go better with my eyes and hair.
[ So, point to you, Biffy. ]
no subject
[Biffy looks thoroughly pleased with himself at how Kirk looks and how he likes the color.]
You have exquisite features and I feel you've been hiding them somewhat simply because other clothes have been more convenient for you to come by. Personally I feel that this brings out your good qualities far better.

Black is slimming.
[ And as much as he hated to admit it, he probably had gained a few pounds in the past couple of years. Bones had been complaining of it back home, and while nothing felt tight, he was sure he filled it out just a tad more than he once had. He did puff his chest a bit at the compliments Biffy paid him though, as happy as anyone to have his vanity stroked a bit. ]
I can't argue that convenience factor. Traveling between planets like we do, just have to pick up things as you can come by them, and try to pick as durable as possible - in my opinion anyways.
[ He looked at Biffy in the mirror, unable to resist his next question. ]
What do you think are my 'good qualities' then?
no subject
My dear Captain. Are you flirting with a taken man?
no subject
Of course not.
[ Look at his face. So innocent. The most innocent. ]
I am just asking an expert his expert opinion, is all.
[ That smile is not innocent. ]

My sincerest apologies for the confusion, though one could hardly blame my were I to be doing just that. Temptation is hard to resist when it's so close.
[ A flashy wink. ]

Bold is one of my qualities, is it not?

'Boldly going where no man has gone before'. Sounds pretty good to me.
no subject
You realize that would mean your attentions should focus elsewhere since men have already been here, yes?
no subject
[ He smiles back. ]
Same, but there's always something new to explore.
no subject
For you, possibly. Elsewhere, of course.
no subject
[ He tilted his head in acknowledgement and a soft chuckle. ]
We'll see with this new wardrobe, won't we?
no subject
My dear captain, if you cannot find someone to impress for romantic or other interests with these clothes then I will question your own skills in that department.
[Yes. He will be sassy about that. Excuse you.]
no subject
[ Kirk had an idea on someone to try it out on. The other he knew would probably like it. Or laugh. Jerk would probably laugh. ]
I'll be sure to send you a write up of Remy's critique next time I see him.
[ Challenge accepted. ]

Cajun - which means he's got some French in him - flirtatious, sassy, and a red head.
[ There were other things he could say, but those perhaps delved to deeply into feelings for Remy that they didn't talk about. They just went unsaid and understood between them. ]
