[Wanda's idly toying with what looks like a bright blue apple while she talks. Welcome to life in space, apparently. She's both intrigued and not quite sure she trusts it, like many of the things here. But at least Drade, strange as it is, is open. She doesn't particularly care for confined spaces like the ships.]

I have only been here a little while and already I hear so many stories about the mists. If you've gone exploring, what did you see?

[She's sure someone must have, especially given some of the whispers she's heard of treasure. That doesn't appeal to her as much, but she is curious. And more than a little weirded out. Mist that can drive someone to madness? It's not the same thing at all, not really, but it does feel unsettlingly close to home.]

Been here for almost a year now, so I'm all right as I can be, I guess.

[He pauses for a moment, then adds:]

There's, uh, another me here, too. But he's cool.

[For the second time today, Wanda's rendered momentarily speechless. A what?]

He's from a different universe that's...kinda weird.

[Honestly, Sam doesn't even know most of it.]

I keep hearing that. Maybe I should stop asking so many questions.

Is there anything I should know?

The food they provide for us is shit, so it's best to load up on whatever you can when you're on planets that have it available. Some people have hydroponics gardens and such, and you can barter for vegetables.

[He pauses, and then-]

What's the last thing you remember, back home?

I think I'll start cooking in large batches.

[Because yikes, that gel stuff is weird.]

HYDRA made a giant robot out of pieces of Ultron's sentries. We destroyed it.

[wingedman]

Good plan. If your kitchen isn't big enough, there's- well, there used to be a restaurant over on the Iskaulit. Don't know if anyone else is taking it over now that Jarvis is gone, but since it's there, you could use it if you need to.

[Yes, he said Jarvis. No, not that JARVIS.]

Huh. Yeah, everyone else is...a little after you. No big deal, though.

[It is, in fact, a big deal.]

[But JARVIS is...you know what, she's going to make good on her earlier comment and just not ask.]

It probably has more to work with than ours. [A beat.] And yes, I'll let you know if I make cookies.

[Or whatever other stress baking she gets into.]
