[Wanda's idly toying with what looks like a bright blue apple while she talks. Welcome to life in space, apparently. She's both intrigued and not quite sure she trusts it, like many of the things here. But at least Drade, strange as it is, is open. She doesn't particularly care for confined spaces like the ships.]

I have only been here a little while and already I hear so many stories about the mists. If you've gone exploring, what did you see?

[She's sure someone must have, especially given some of the whispers she's heard of treasure. That doesn't appeal to her as much, but she is curious. And more than a little weirded out. Mist that can drive someone to madness? It's not the same thing at all, not really, but it does feel unsettlingly close to home.]

[In answer, Wanda lets go of the blue apple. Instead of falling, delicate threads of scarlet energy catch it and hold it aloft.]

I'm the only human at home who can do this.

[Can the Asgardians? She's not sure, but their magic is the closest thing she can think of.]

( In response, Jean pulls a pen from her pocket and floats it around, demonstrating her own telekinesis. )

I've been doing this for as long as I can remember. Where are you from?

[Wanda grins, beyond delighted to see proof that she's not as alone as she'd always thought. There are others out there, even if they're not from her world.]

You are also from Earth? I'm from Sokovia.

Sokovia? I don't know it but I've been spending a lot of time in Madripoor lately and being in Southeast Asia means I'm not on the up and up with Europe. I'm definitely from Earth though.

( Jean grins at her. )

There's some other mutants here too - no other telepaths and telekinetics like us but some others with powers.
