[Wanda's idly toying with what looks like a bright blue apple while she talks. Welcome to life in space, apparently. She's both intrigued and not quite sure she trusts it, like many of the things here. But at least Drade, strange as it is, is open. She doesn't particularly care for confined spaces like the ships.]

I have only been here a little while and already I hear so many stories about the mists. If you've gone exploring, what did you see?

[She's sure someone must have, especially given some of the whispers she's heard of treasure. That doesn't appeal to her as much, but she is curious. And more than a little weirded out. Mist that can drive someone to madness? It's not the same thing at all, not really, but it does feel unsettlingly close to home.]

[This doesn't stop him sighing about it when looking into bathroom mirrors sometimes. At Wanda's question, Thor hums with thought.]

It would be over half a year now. Not so long as some of the others, but too long for my tastes all the same.

[Her expression darkens. She doesn't need to say it, does she?]

...and I still miss Sokovia very much. I understand. [And as far as she's concerned, it's not weakness to admit it.]

[Thor smiles a bit at that, though it's tinged with something sadder than his usual wont.]

It is. I would still feel the same if home was there to return to. But... I'm afraid it isn't. Asgard was destroyed.

[And while Asgard may be a people and not a place, he knows he'll miss the place for a very long time.]

[Wanda's hands instinctively rise halfway to her mouth in shock. An entire planet...just gone? She's seen it in Ultron's mind in the abstract and it was horrifying enough but to try to comprehend it as something that has happened...]

[There is something there, Thor knows. A kind of understanding that only comes with experiencing loss on such a grand scale. Asgard was a whole world but so was Sokovia to Wanda. It's enough for him to nod, accepting the offer for what it is.]

[But they are here in the Fleet, and Wanda's new. So he tips his head to the side and follows up with a question.]

What ship did you end up on?

[She's not going to push him - it had been weeks before she'd been able to even mention Pietro without her throat tightening or tears threatening to spill.]

The Tourist. It's a strange name for a ship. Aren't we all tourists?

[It's a small attempt to lighten the mood. Wanda hadn't meant to accidentally say something so loaded.]

Well, that would imply that we chose to visit, wouldn't it? [And Thor is continually adamant that he did not choose this, thank you.] Besides, Wonderduck is worse.

[Well, that's one way to lighten the mood. Wanda can't help but laugh.]
