[The video starts with the camera actually falling. There's some chaos and then the sound of a canine yelping. Everything goes dark like cloth fell on it before you can see again that it's...Biffy's salon? The device has been shifted enough to reveal a wolf trying hard to free itself from what looks like the remains of a suit.

When it sees the device on, it scrambles over and...the recording ends.]

Iskaulit - First day of glitch (Closed to Lyall)

[It's been literally years since Biffy last found he couldn't control his changes. For that reason, he's understandably distressed when he suddenly finds himself changed into a wolf. Quite forcibly! It takes him some time to at least free himself from his clothes enough that he can walk normally, even if it means the remains of what are left still cling to him.

So now he's darting around the Iskaulit with his communicator in his mouth since he really has nowhere else to put it. Which means there's now a distressed chocolate colored (with a delightful red colored marking like a cravat on his chest) wolf wearing torn up clothes running around. This is his first glitch that he's gone through so he's not used to it!]

Iskaulit or Blameless - Rest of the glitch period

[Well, he's stuck like this. After the first day of stress now he's just resigned to the fact that he's stuck like this until this place will let him change. So usually he can be found on the Blameless or the Iskaulit. Just wandering mostly to get the energy out of his system since he can't open up his shop while he's like this.

But really it's just him moping. Flopped about looking depressed.

[There is a heavy sigh at lunar cycles. Largely because this isn't the time of the full moon. He shouldn't be stuck like this. However, he doesn't know how to communicate that because who would be able to understand him like this? He can't talk.

He misses talking.

But his nose twitches some at the mention of buried dead. He's not sure he would enjoy that at all. Graves are such sad places to be. And the dead smell terrible.]

[Death sits down and offers his own hand to hold. It isn't much, but he knows that very distinct sigh.]

YOU ARE WELCOME TO VISIT THE CAPRINE IF YOU SHOULD FIND YOURSELF NEEDING COMPANY. I AM THE DESIGNATED COOK, AND WE HAVE SOME MEAT I CAN ROAST UP FOR YOU AND POPPY- [He gestures to the kitten currently licking his face.] TO SHARE.

AND IT ISN'T SO BAD BEING A CHURCH GRIM. THEY PROTECT THE PHYSICAL FORM AND HELP THOSE LIKE ME FIND THE SOUL THAT USED TO BE ATTACHED TO IT.

[He notes the hand and puts his paw into it to shake before perking up at the mention of food. While he doesn't need his meat cooked, there is something nostalgic about having it that way. He's going to have to think about visiting there.

In the meantime, he tilts his head at the mention of this person finding souls. What does that mean. Certainly he looks odd but...

Wait. Is he actually talking to Death himself?]

[Death of the Disc, so technically a Death. In all his bony glory.

Poppy, in the meanwhile, is trying to mount an expedition to climb on top of her new friend. She likes how fuzzy he is.]

YOU NEEDN'T BE AFRAID. MY FULL CAPACITY TO REAP IS LIMITED TO MY OWN PLANET, ALTHOUGH WE DO HAVE WEREWOLVES LIKE YOURSELF. THERE ARE ALSO VAMPIRES, ZOMBIES, AND OTHER ASSORTED MAGICAL TYPES.

[He wouldn't say he's magical but it's nice that someone knows what he is. That's always a relief. Of course, he's not too worried about being reaped honestly. Because he's immortal and would have to be killed for that. Already he's escaped Death's door once by being turned into a wolf. He supposes he'll just keep on escaping it at this rate.

So he tilts his head a bit. Partially out of curiosity and partially to make it easier for the kitten to get on his head and so the rest of him.]

[Poppy appreciates that he's willing to be climbed at all. She meows and kneads him a little the more she finds herself on his back.]

MY KITTEN POPPY. I FOUND HER IN THE MIST AND SHE NOW SLEEPS IN THE HOOD OF MY ROBE. THUS FAR MY ATTEMPTS TO TEACH THE CONCEPT OF PERSONAL SPACE HAS BEEN FRUITLESS. I BELIEVE SHE MAY BE RATHER SET IN HER WAYS AS A FELINE.

[Well that's cats for you honestly. It's something he likes about them. They don't care at all that he's a werewolf. So he just lifts his head to look back at the kitten now on his back and gives her a quick nosing to make sure she's settled there.

Sorry, Death. You may be stuck here for a bit with Biffy since your kitten has a new friend.]

[Hello nose. Poppy puts forth her own nose and sniffs at him before booping his snout with her head.]

OH... [It's the closest Death can come to truly expressing a sense of being overwhelmed with cuteness.] PERHAPS THERE ARE THINGS SHE CAN TEACH ME ABOUT SOCIALIZING.

[Looking up at Death, Biffy gives a nod. That's right. There are things he can learn from here. It's the beauty of a pet honestly.

And she is quite an adorable example. He'll give her that.

So excuse him for looking back and making sure she's good before looking back to Death since they are still talking. Even if the conversation is terribly one-sided. He wishes it weren't but circumstances are what they are.]

SHE DOES IT SO WELL. I THINK IT'S THE PRIDE CATS CARRY THEMSELVES WITH.

[He reaches over to pet the kitten very gently behind the ears. After a few seconds hesitation, he repeats the same gesture to Biffy.]

I AM GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A COMFORTING GESTURE TO MANY BEINGS WITH EARS. YOU SEEM TO BE HANDLING THINGS WELL ENOUGH.

[Biffy makes a huff and gives him such a miffed look. He's not a dog okay. This form is most inconvenient when he's literally unable to change back. Everyone just wants to pet him. Now he'll have to make sure his fur is fixed after the kitten is done using him as a bed.

Glitch life is so hard, Death. Let him tell you.]

[Death takes his hand back when he sees that the gesture is not so appreciated as he had thought. Poppy purrs away, although she is yawning with the teeniest meow in the middle of it.]

ERM, SO SORRY. I CONFESS, I DO NOT SPEND MUCH TIME WITH THE LIVING BACK HOME, REGARDLESS OF WHO OR WHAT THEY ARE SPECIFICALLY. I CAN RETURN POPPY TO MY LAP IF SHE IS A DISTURBANCE.

[He truly wishes he could talk. All he wants to do is explain that he isn't a dog so being petted like one isn't as comforting as one might think. Largely because he's still a person under all this fur.

He looks so sad again and puts his head down on his paws. It's so useless to try to communicate when he doesn't have yes or no questions. And he really isn't minding the company of Death which makes it all the more frustrating. Honestly at this rate he's thinking he should try running into the being again sometime to apologize for this. Even if being unable to talk is hardly his fault.]

[Death can sort of imagine the frustration, although his capacity for creativity is limited at best. He pets Poppy lightly and nods.]

WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME FOR A WALK WITH ME? MANY PEOPLE SEEM TO BE OF THE OPINION THAT EXERCISE IS AN APPROPRIATE MEANS OF SHAKING OFF FEELINGS OF UNHAPPINESS. IF LITTLE ELSE, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR MIND AND BODY BUSY IN EQUAL PROPORTION.

[He looks up, surprised by the offer. But it...is very kind. And perhaps it would help some. If nothing else he really appreciates the company of Death despite the irony of the situation.

So he nods. Yes. He would like to do that.]

[Death stands up slowly and picks Poppy up as well. He holds her in one hand and gestures for Biffy to follow.]

COME, I HAVE EXPLORED THE MOUNTAIN A BIT AND IT IS A FAIRLY LONG HIKE. I CAN REGALE YOU WITH STORIES OF MY HOMEWORLD, IF YOU'D LIKE.

[His homeworld? His ears perk up with obvious interest as he nods. Even when he's stuck and unable to change back, he still can't stop being curious about things and wanting to know things.]
