Glitch!
Who: Biffy and YOU
Broadcast: Yes
Action: SS Blameless and on the Iskaulit
When: Starting on the 15th and lasting for about a week and a half after...
Broadcast
[The video starts with the camera actually falling. There's some chaos and then the sound of a canine yelping. Everything goes dark like cloth fell on it before you can see again that it's...Biffy's salon? The device has been shifted enough to reveal a wolf trying hard to free itself from what looks like the remains of a suit.
When it sees the device on, it scrambles over and...the recording ends.]
Iskaulit - First day of glitch (Closed to Lyall)
[It's been literally years since Biffy last found he couldn't control his changes. For that reason, he's understandably distressed when he suddenly finds himself changed into a wolf. Quite forcibly! It takes him some time to at least free himself from his clothes enough that he can walk normally, even if it means the remains of what are left still cling to him.
So now he's darting around the Iskaulit with his communicator in his mouth since he really has nowhere else to put it. Which means there's now a distressed chocolate colored (with a delightful red colored marking like a cravat on his chest) wolf wearing torn up clothes running around. This is his first glitch that he's gone through so he's not used to it!]
Iskaulit or Blameless - Rest of the glitch period
[Well, he's stuck like this. After the first day of stress now he's just resigned to the fact that he's stuck like this until this place will let him change. So usually he can be found on the Blameless or the Iskaulit. Just wandering mostly to get the energy out of his system since he can't open up his shop while he's like this.
But really it's just him moping. Flopped about looking depressed.
Want to try to cheer up the sad wolf?]

She sits and waits. She doesn't show him her throat or do anything that might make her appear weak but she does lower her head and display the air of submission. Freya can't afford to be showing weakness, not when she's smaller than every other wolf and traveling on her own. That's a fast way of getting herself killed.
Most wolves and packs in her world are okay with that. She shows her respect and then continues on her way but this is a different situation. There is nowhere she can go except back to her ship.
Challenges are for male wolves, which is why there are less of them.]

Because he doesn't know what she is here for. Why she would approach an Alpha and not show submission to him? He doesn't want to fight. He doesn't even like fighting. But he can't change back right now in order to properly talk this out.
So he waits. Waits to see what will happen...]
[ooc: Lyall is going to jump in to help smooth things over! Just wanted to give you a heads up!]

He hadn't realized there were other werewolves around, in spite of not exactly being discreet about him himself. But he can see she is hunched over but not submissive, which in turns is raising the hackles on Biffy, who seems to be strumming with tension... which Lyall understands. Biffy hates fighting.
He quickly walks to Biffy's side, but doesn't touch him. Instead, he addresses the other wolf.]
If you are not intending to challenge him, please bare your throat. Otherwise, he might have to attack you and he doesn't want to.
[Now let's hope this werewolf is similar to them and understands human speech or this could get messy. he wouldn't have much time to change and would tear his clothes if things came to a head.]

At the same time, she doesn't want the other wolf to attack her. She doesn't know his race or his strengths though she thinks its stupid that he doesn't want to attack her but he will. That clearly means that he wants too, no one makes anyone do anything else. Even her instincts are notes to a song that sings pleasantly in her ear, they aren't a harsh command that forces her.
It's likely different between boys and girls but Freya has no bases of comparison to work with in that regard.
Freya sticks out her tongue, which looks very odd as a wolf, and takes a few steps back. She makes the assumption that these wolves are some weird Hollywood werewolf and decides to play along
She stands, walks in a quick circle and then rolls onto her back. If he gets to close she's going to dart away anyway. Freya doesn't trust people easily, let alone someone who can't control himself.]

Immediately he relaxes and lays down to groom his fur. All this tension has just made it so ruffled and out of place! He can't stand that sort of thing.
(She'll notice that Lyall smells strongly of both wolf and Biffy though. His. This is his.)
Shaking himself out he sighs and clearly looks so happy to have his fur in order again. And with that done, he properly starts to sniff in her direction to learn more about her. His nose isn't as developed as Lyall's but he'll never get it there if he doesn't practice.
Well she's new here anyway. He can tell that much. Though, he wonders if she has a pack or not. If she doesn't then he actually finds himself worried about her, maybe thinking of wanting to take her in. But he supposes he'll let her relax and see things are okay first.]

She wants to see what's out there and she hates making ties that will inevitably be broken.
She can smell that these two are similar, likely a pair, though that leaves Freya's instincts a little confused. It's a good thing that she's practiced at ignore them.
Freya rolls back onto her stomach, her tail thumping against the ground as the darker wolf takes a few steps closer. She doesn't move since she isn't in the mood to piss people off right now. Maybe later. Right now she's more interesting in having fun.]

Thank you.
I apologize if we surprised you. Where we are from, a loner approaching an Alpha and not baring their throat means they are challenging them for a fight, and the Alpha will fight to protect his pack.
[But since people's stories about were wolves are so clearly different, it comes to reason that the werewolves themselves from different worlds would have differences too. Rather fascinating in fact.]
I am sorry about this, or if we ended up being rude in anyway. Perhaps we can talk it out at a later time, so we do not run into such a situation again.
[As in with everyone in human form. Lyall's hand has gone for Biffy's fur, scratching him for a few seconds before he lets go to let him approach the other wolf.]

A wolf without a pack...that must be challenging. Particularly since he can now tell that, despite being female, she somehow isn't an Alpha. He's not sure how that's possible but it seems that it is in other worlds. It's baffling honestly.
Sitting back, he tilts his head as he studies her. He's never been in this sort of situation before.]

So awkward.
She flicked her teeth once at Lyall and then made a noise that is somewhere between a purr and a growl. Wolves don't have the vocal cords to purr but Freya has been practicing the noise to let humans know that she means no harm or offense. It's a sound that most humans can identify at least. She doesn't know about werewolves as humans because these guys have already proven themselves different from what she knows.
Freya also has no concept of Alpha's. There were dominate wolves but they didn't smell different, they mostly just acted like jackasses. The wolves of Freya's world weren't so far removed from being human because the Shapers had granted them a soul and the power to understand humans.
These wolves weren't like that.
Freya is polite. She sits on the ground, her tail wagging happily from side to side, waiting for Biffy to sniff away. She'll let him try and figure her out since there is a lot that is probably weird.
At some point she should shift but she doesn't have any clothes on her and she doesn't know if that'd be awkward for these guys. Probably not, but she's trying to be respectful towards humans and their weird ways.
Humans are weird.
Though these guys aren't technically human? Freya is currently thinking in too many circles to make a good life choice.]

The other wolf doesn't seem hostile, just puzzled and unused to the way they do things. Which Lyall should have guessed. It would seem normal here to cross paths with werewolves from other worlds, with other customs... In any case...]
I am Randolph Lyall, and this is Lord Falmouth, Alpha of the London Pack. I apologize again for the tense introduction.
no subject
With that, he give her a warning growl. Being submissive then suddenly not being so is not the way to go about this. It shows a lack of respect at the very least since it seems mildly clear she doesn't intend to be hostile. (Though honestly he feels that if she doesn't wish to be then she really should stop with these antics.)
Keeping himself between her and Lyall now, he waits to see her reaction to Lyall's words. He has no desire to attack but he will not tolerate the rudeness of baring teeth at his fiance nor the growling.]
no subject
So she's very continues and uncertain. She's sitting and did the passive submissive thing.
Freya licks her nose and then lowers her head. Today sucks and she's just kind of pouting about it. She's never met a wolf who she hasn't been able to talk to and if she could cry as a wolf, she might have been tearing up at that moment.
These wolves are mean.]
no subject
They're all reacting to things in a way the others are unfamiliar with, and provoking even more misunderstandings. The situation had relaxed, and now it's tense again.]
I am sorry, but I do believe this is going to be a very productive first meeting. We are talking at cross-purposes and we do not understand each other. My Lord, I believe we should simply go back for now.
[A glance towards the white wolf.]
I would be interested in speaking to you more, but I think we should adjourn for now. Circumstances being what they are, I just don't want anyone to get hurt.

Slowly he backs up, making it clear to Lyall that he is in protective mode and needs him to walk away first so he can watch her while he backs up.
There's really nothing to be said to get him to back down on this part too. Not after seeing her teeth and hearing her growl.]
no subject
She hadn't given them much of a goodbye but she'd have likely found a way to insult them again.
Really, some people are so sensitive.]
Kinda a shit day.
[She has her trails and the places that she runs that she knows that other wolves don't. She'll likely stick to them and avoid the awkward two-some for as long as she possibly can. Avoiding discomfort is Freya's general go to. She'd hate to have to talk to them, let alone when their together, it'd be like going to Jury Duty; which was usually boring and about topics that Freya doesn't care about.]
