Who: Manji and you
Broadcast: Yes
Action: On the planet
When: Right now!
[One afternoon Manji opens up his communicator.] Kogarasumaru! [He speaks with confidence that he probably shouldn't have.] You remember our fight, right? Well, I'm ready if you are. Shall I meet you at your dojo or somewhere on this junk of a planet? [Thanks to this thread Manji has a fight to pick. He could just call Kogarasumaru out privately, but he hasn't figured out how to do that just yet.]
Action: Junker Racing
[You know what else Manji can do that's really dumb? Try driving a car in a junker race with one arm. How hard can driving a car be when the most advance transportation you've ever driven was a horse?
And-- opps, yup. He's just crashed. In a spectacular fashion. Good thing he's immortal? Still, he may need a hand out of that wreckage.]

Because it's sharp on both sides.]

[He hisses as the sword bites into his skin, but tries for something new once more. Dropping his two pronged sword so he can reach and take hold of Kogarasumaru's blade. He doesn't care if he has to let it dig deeper into his skin, Manji wants to steal his sword away and doesn't care if he has to bleed to do it.]

He can feel as the steel shifts and cuts deeper as he actually flips himself around so that he stands on Manji's shoulders. Using his leverage, he pulls to cut the hand holding his weapon, twisting the blade at the same time to cause further damage.
Manji hadn't wanted him to hold back. So he isn't.]
CW: Mild gore
Only escaping isn't the right term. More he can feel his fingers severing as he loses control of those muscles as he doesn't give up on his plan fast enough before he loses a couple fingers. He always was a bit too stubborn for his own good.]
SHIT! [Now what was he going to do? He can't hold even his own blade anymore. His stubborn streak still continues as he tries to shake Kogarasumaru off while also reaching down in an attempt to scoop up any finger he can. Too wrapped up in the fight to figure out that he should give up.]

Manji, it is time to give up. If you wish another round then surrender this time and heal. You can try again after.
[But this? This is really more suicidal even for someone who is immortal.]

Alright. Alright. I surrender. Now leggo before you make me bald.

You can be quite the stubborn opponent.
no subject
As I said immortality has dulled my skill because I can just be stubborn instead.

[He actually doesn't look the least bit disturbed by the way the fingers reattach. In fact, he just tilts his head curiously to witness the entire event until it finishes.]
Those creatures are truly so eager for you to live.

May I see? Your hand.

[He holds out his hand for Kogarasumaru to inspect and Manji's telling the truth. Kogarasumaru won't find anything of interest. No sign of injury and he won't be able to feel any of the worms at this point.]

[He lightly touches where he remembers shredding and detaching the fingers but there is nothing to be found. No trace of any injury. Just the skin returned to what it was.]
You cannot obtain new scars then?

[He releases his hand as he looks up at his face, studying how they look on him. A man with one eye and one arm. Quite the fighter to be in such an age.]
A shame a warrior like you cannot find his death yet.

[He might be a little proud of that. Not so much the murder, just that he's been in what he thinks is a lot of fights.] I'll find my death sooner or later. Just got to kill a thousand evil men first.
no subject
[Or rather...how many does he have left?]
no subject
Actually, I'm not sure. Maybe about five? I don't know if you've noticed, but it's actually really hard to find truly evil men.

[Is that pointing out the obvious? You bet! But watch him intentionally do it anyway.]
