002 tea + biscuits (locked to tyrion lannister)
Who: Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister
Broadcast: n/a
Action: First Breath
When: 27 October
( It seems that Sansa has quite a bit to make up for after having been gone for several moons and she means to start doing so as soon as she's cleared from quarantine. She unfortunately has nothing to wear aside from the jumpsuits provided to passengers as soon as they arrive in the Fleet and none of her fine things from before are still around. It's a bit disconcerting, yes, but she can at least make her hair look nice even if the rest of her is a lost cause. She hails Tyrion before coming over, not wanting to drop in unexpectedly, and finds her way to his quarters. )
I'm sorry I don't have anything better to wear but as soon as we get to a system where I can buy fabric, I intend to work on new gowns. For now, though, you get this.
( It's such a small thing to be hung up on but she's hung up on it nonetheless. One should look their best when trying to make amends. )
You'll forgive me, I hope?

( The only kisses Sansa has had have been loveless and only symbols of marriages she hadn't wanted. This is something different - something she's asked for herself. )

[By the Seven he truly hoped he did not do that he usually did - and fuck this up beyond repair. He leaned up, so he could cup her cheek, and pressed his mouth lightly but firmly to hers. Waiting to see what she would do, before he proceeded.]

You're quite good at that, Tyrion. Incredibly so.

[Pardon him while he tries to organize his thoughts into words.]
Thank ...you! You are ... very ... perfect yourself.
[Well, that was not completely horrible.]
no subject
( Sansa herself is a little lost for words and she smiles shyly at Tyrion. Oh, but she cares for him. )
It seems we're both a bit stunned, here, yes?
no subject
[He gave her a sheepish, pleased smile, before he touched her cheek in quiet wonder.]
You never cease to amaze me, Sansa.
no subject
( Sansa thinks that's strong wording and she doesn't feel entirely worthy of it; still, it makes her color even deeper. )
no subject
[Tyrion stated simply, and truthfully.]
I have never met a woman like you, Sansa. You hold your dignity above the rest of us dirty folk like a crown upon your head.
no subject
( Sansa likes that he admires her strength, especially since there had been points with Ramsay where she'd felt very weak indeed. It's a good quality to have, she thinks, and one she's glad that others see in her. )
I didn't always have that dignity, my lord. There were times when I thought myself dirty, or used, and unworthy of love any longer. It's something I've had to put myself back together and earn again - so I thank you for seeing it in me and admiring it.

Most of the men I know, who have lost their dignity never regain it. So, consider me doubly impressed, lady wife.

( Sansa sighs a bit and folds herself up on the couch; it's not exactly the sort of romantic talk she wanted but she supposes it's something they need to talk about as husband and wife. )
I suppose it was my fault for trusting Baelish, though. I was old enough to refuse the marriage contract with Bolton.

[He took her hand, and started to kiss her fingers gently, to bring her to relaxation.]
My dear, no one should have trusted Baelish. You were not the only one. As it stands, though, I think we shall all survive him."
no subject
( Baelish had ever been a schemer but that had been a new low entirely. He needed to be dealt with. )
no subject
[He mused, before his lips curved into a faint smirk.]
I am just glad it was the Starks who showed him that.

Arya and I decided we were stronger together than apart.
( Sansa reaches out and touches Tyrion’s hand, rubbing her thumb over the back of it. )
I’m stronger with you than alone.
no subject
I want you to know ... I would like to kiss you again, and ... I have always known we would be stronger together.
no subject
( It's a bit coy, yes, but Sansa feels comfortable with Tyrion in a way she doesn't think she's ever felt comfortable with any man. It feels right to tease him. )

Darling wife, do take it easy for me.

I'm sorry, my Lord.
