GIFT EXCHANGE MINGLE

This is usually done as a meme, but I thought I could make it an actual thing in case anyone wants some nice threads out of it. The rules are simple: make a top level with your character's Xmas gift list for their friends! Then go around and react to what others have gotten for yours. You can make it an action thread and play out the actual giving, or a text thread to say thank you, or just some narration to show how the character feels about their gift... the sky is the limit, do whatever you want with your threads!

Posting this early so people have time to thread it out before the holidays come, and to have time to go google-shopping.

Also reminder that for system shenanigans we have a mingle over here! Never too late to tag into that too.

No, it's... It's good. The size is good, too.

[It wasn't a complicated design, but Lance had gotten it pretty near perfect, considering he probably had to describe it to someone who'd never seen it before and get the sizing right now that Keith had grown around his shoulders and chest, so Keith was definitely impressed. It felt a little weird to be wearing it again, honestly... nostalgic, in a way. He smiled a bit.]

[He was also glad Lance hadn't used his wish at the tree for something that was ultimately a gift to someone else. Keith didn't want him to give that up. He leaned in and gave him a soft kiss.]

Great. Awesome. Honestly, I really missed seeing you in it.

[Honestly, he'd almost been tempted to use his wish on that. But he'd remembered enough that he was confident he could get a good replica, so that was that. For now, he happily returns that kiss.]

It's still kinda dorky, but I've grown to like it.

[Keith quirked an eyebrow.]

[He chuckled a bit.]

Though, now it'll likely be big on you, too.

Eh, I'm fine with a slightly baggy jacket. My normal jacket is a little big on me as it is.

[There's a pause there.]

Oh no-- We have to see if my jacket still fits you! I'm going to be heartbroken if it doesn't!

[Keith didn't think it was that big of a deal.]

Why?

Because, Keith! Boyfriend jacket.

[He pouts.]

You wearing my jacket is super adorable and super hot.

Well, it won't be as big as it used to be on me. I don't know if I grew out of it, though.

[Keith shrugged.]

[Certain things are very important to him, okay. This is one of them.]

[Keith looked thoughtful for a moment and then shrugged off the jacket Lance got him.]

[He put his hand out for Lance's.]

Moment of truth, then...

[He takes a deep breath, sliding his jacket off and handing it over to Keith.]

[Keith switched jackets with Lance, and then pulled it on. It was definitely... not... baggy. Still a bit loose around the hips and waist, but Keith was definitely filling the shoulders. It wasn't tight, though. He could close it if he wanted to.

With a small smirk, he pulled up the hood.]

Looks fine.

[...Yep. Still perfect. Part of him misses how it used to look a little oversized on Keith, but it still looks amazing on him.

Lance lunges forward, dragging him right in for a hard kiss.]

[Keith was a bit surprised by the reaction, but he smiled into the kiss, almost chuckling a little.]

I'll take it that it looks good?

[He leaned his forehead against Lance's, his arms wrapping around his boyfriend's waist.]

It looks good. I'm a good look on you.

[He grins, letting his own arms wrap around Keith as well.]

[Keith grinned a little.]

Good thing for that, then, considering we spend so much time together.

[He leaned in and kissed Lance again.]

Yup. Most attractive couple on the fleet.

[He laughs and kisses back.]

[Keith chuckled.]

[He stole another kiss.]

Mmm... You're welcome. I really can't lie and say I didn't miss that dumb jacket.

[Keith smirked.]

I didn't think you'd be sentimental about something like that.

Yeah, well...

[He looks sheepish.]

I'm sentimental about a lot of things.

[Keith smiled a little. He glanced down, and then opened Lance's jacket so he could try wrapping it around the two of them. It wasn't as easy anymore, but enough to get the point across.]

Hm... Guess the other one of us needs a bigger jacket, too. [He quirked an eyebrow, teasing a little.]

[Mmm. He moves in closer, then, pressing up against him.]

Guess so.

Mm... [Keith pressed his face into the crook of Lance's neck.] I might consider it for a Valentine's Day gift.
