Unlike certain people, Kurts method of avoiding doorways tends to leave behind a cloud of smoke and the smell of sulfur. Sulfur lingers, especially on a closed air system like a space ship. So, because he is a gentleman and also attached to his hide, Kurt uses doorways like a normal person. If normal people scurried along the ceiling most of the time.

He's going to regret his consideration of his fellows, being halfway through a door when he simply stops. Kurt blinks, shakes his head as though to attempt waking himself from his thoughts, and.. He can't move forward. Or backward. Or teleporting, as he finds out a second later.

"What the hell."

Kitty wasn't even trying to walk through a door. She was just walking down the hall passing a door when she got too close at the same moment Kurt was coming through. And thus the stopping because there isn't a lot of moving that can be done at this point.

She tips her head up to look at him. Welp.

As common place as this was back in Marina, it only ever lasted a single day. How many kisses could you usually get in a single day? (She averaged about ten.) It hasn't even occurred to her yet how often she might be kissing her shipmates in the days to come. It's still new here. She doesn't know the exact rules of it. This isn't her first kiss under mistletoe, but she's far from deep in it. She's already done all the boundary testing and trying to phase free and she wasn't surprised when none of it worked. So, she's just going to get as comfortable with it as she can. And maybe tease and flirt while she's at it.

[You would think Remy would be use to it by now, Kurt crawling his way around. But he still wasn't. And it showed, him jumping a little as he caught that blob of dark fur out of the corner of his eye before identifying it as Kurt.] Mon Dieu, one day that ain't goin' to get me. Or 'm goin' to get a broom 'nd hit ya down.

Ya plannin' on stayin' there? Helpin' to keep the door open?

[ Despite his precarious situation, Kurt finds himself snickering. ] Swatting me down with a broom stopped working when I was about... seven? Something like that. Victor had already left.

[ Having already been caught by a mistletoe already today, the prospect of giving Remy a heads-up flits through his mind and is dismissed almost immediately. Instead he just grins, settling into a comfortable crouch. ] I might at that. It's a rather comfortable doorway, and seeing you jump every time you go by never gets old.

[Wait. How. Did. He. Just. Crouch? Upside down?

Remy will never get Nightcrawlers.]

So ya sayin' I need something more heavy duty to hit ya with? Noted, I'll go get m' bo staff. [But grins instead of following up with that promise.] It may be, Bleu, but ya makin' it a little difficult for 'nyone tryin' to get through, bar Kitty that be.

Pavel is hanging out on the Twin Roses (as one does) when he finds himself unable to move in any direction and directly under Kurt. Neither of these things is particularly surprising since he is aware of mischievous mistletoe and, you know, some people just like to crawl around on ceilings. He can respect that.
