She spends most of her time on the Twin Roses or the Iskaulit especially in the gym or Malum where she works, but she's been known to visit friends on the other ships too. This is not her first forced kissing rodeo, so she'll take it all in stride...usually.]

[It's a little after people had started to catch on to the devilish plants. Which is why it may be strange to see Vash casually standing around a doorway of the Twin Roses. He appears to be on the lookout and starts grinning like an idiot when he sees Kitty walking down or through the hall.]

Oh no! I'm stuck! How will I ever get out? [He cries out as he slaps a hand to his head in 'despair'. What's that above him? It's not mistletoe, but in fact just the closest looking green plant Vash could find. This just MIGHT be a set up.] If only there was someone nearby to help me!

[At first the appearance of the green plants was weird. Then, as Taako realized what was going on? It got hilarious. Wherever he finds a few sprigs, he sets up camp just out of range of the green traps and waits, with popcorn, and some wine.

Entertainment hour is a go.]


B. Well shit, he got caught
[But eventually, when he's working in the kitchens or wandering the Iskaulit or just trying to get from Point A to Point B, he gets caught. And try as he might, he can't get away. He tries to Blink. He tries to set the thing on fire. He tries to cut it down, but to no avail.

He's stuck and he's frustrated, using his recently acquired Umbra Staff to swat at the sprig which is just out of his reach.

C. Fishing for a reaper [Closed to Kravitz]
[Yep, this holiday is officially weird as fuck, but? At least it's usefully weird. Taako spends a day pulling down and gathering as many of the mistletoe things as he can, then he goes on a mission. Or a hunt. Maybe both? Whatever. He starts out by stalking around on the Bloodsport, then he goes to the Iskaulit, and wherever he finds his Grim Reaper?

He flings a piece of the mistletoe right into his face - or at the back of his head, or his butt. Wherever he can throw it, Taako is making these mistletoe into missiletoe and firing them off at Kravitz as quickly as he can to see if he can freeze the reaper in one spot. If not? He runs away and tries again later.

[ Kravitz is not 100% sure why he keeps getting beaned in the head with... greenery. But it's happening. Frequently. One time, it even hit him in the butt instead, not sure what happened there. In this most recent episode of Attack Of The Leafy Thing, Kravitz is minding his own business, has just finished reading a chapter of a book he picked up on the planet, and is leaving the lounge to head toward his room, but he doesn't even make it two steps into the hallway before there's suddenly a sprig of green flying right at his face. jfdksalj

He blinks a few times as it smacks him in the nose, bounces off and hits the floor. It's only after he picks it up that he notices Taako! ]

[ He's cut off as he tries to step forward and... can't, like there's some sort of invisible field keeping him where he is. Confused, he even tries backing up, but nope. He's stuck. Not going anywhere. ... This is so weird! ]

[Doorways? Yup, Remy went through quite a few a day with his increased hours at the Bar. He spent a lot of his time going back and forward between the Twin Roses, Iskaulit, and the Tourist. It’s a safe bet you will catch him at one of those places during the night or day, either heading to/back from the bar, making the most of the gym, or just visiting friends.

He’s also been through it all before back at Luceti, but he tended not to be the one trapped. He does not like being trapped. Help him get free?]

[This is where the legends of Loki in his world and Loki in other worlds get a little blurry. Does Taako know the significance of the mistletoe and Loki? He has a vague feeling like he should, but he was never very good at studying up about the hundreds of gods that ran around and got worshiped. Technically, he'd been an adherent of Oghma at one point in his life, but that was honestly just so he could get a free meal one time and he'd skipped out almost immediately after that.

So seeing Loki skulk about with mistletoe arrows, looking like he's enjoying how some people eye him with more than a little suspicion only puts a smile on Taako's face. He's never been so glad to have been put on the First Breath as when he sees his captain fucking with people for the hell of it. The smile spreads until Taako notices the thing hanging over the god's head and that by chance, Taako's been caught up in its orbit.

Mistletoe hanging from things isn't particularly new for Trevor, though the meaning here is completely lost on him. As far as he's concerned, the big spaceboat is just really safe from werewolves and dark spirits right now. And that's mostly okay by him. Aside from the fact that it's keeping the local vampire from his books. That is to say, keeping the local vampire from the best source of a distraction so that he can run off and drink himself half to death undisturbed. ]

[Keith didn't catch on that it was the stupid plants hanging in the doorways that were trapping people until he himself got trapped. Thankfully, he wasn't clueless for long, but, either way, anyone who was trapped got weird looks until that happened. When it did, well... someone wasn't happy. He tried a few things to get free, but, after nothing worked, he finally ended up just standing there looking pissed off with his arms crossed, hoping someone would come along to help.

After that, it was only a matter of time before he figured out that it was actually the plants doing it and not just getting randomly stuck in doors, so he was doing his best to avoid them, but that wasn't always successful.

He's likely to be cause mostly around the Iskaulit or the Huntress, but he could also easily be visiting other ships to talk to friends!]

Unlike certain people, Kurts method of avoiding doorways tends to leave behind a cloud of smoke and the smell of sulfur. Sulfur lingers, especially on a closed air system like a space ship. So, because he is a gentleman and also attached to his hide, Kurt uses doorways like a normal person. If normal people scurried along the ceiling most of the time.

He's going to regret his consideration of his fellows, being halfway through a door when he simply stops. Kurt blinks, shakes his head as though to attempt waking himself from his thoughts, and.. He can't move forward. Or backward. Or teleporting, as he finds out a second later.

Kitty wasn't even trying to walk through a door. She was just walking down the hall passing a door when she got too close at the same moment Kurt was coming through. And thus the stopping because there isn't a lot of moving that can be done at this point.

As common place as this was back in Marina, it only ever lasted a single day. How many kisses could you usually get in a single day? (She averaged about ten.) It hasn't even occurred to her yet how often she might be kissing her shipmates in the days to come. It's still new here. She doesn't know the exact rules of it. This isn't her first kiss under mistletoe, but she's far from deep in it. She's already done all the boundary testing and trying to phase free and she wasn't surprised when none of it worked. So, she's just going to get as comfortable with it as she can. And maybe tease and flirt while she's at it.

When he looks up though, he knows why. Taako is careful to stay clear of the mistletoe's radius of effect, but lingers on the edge, hand on his hip.]

[This isn't something he comes across often. Luckily Kirk has explained to him the meaning of the mistletoe. However, it hasn't stopped the plant from trapping him under a door frame on the Iskaulit. To make things worse, he's really quite short. So he can't reach the plant to remove it so he can continue on his way.

Which means that there is a tiny, slender man with wing-like hair reaching up and getting nowhere near the top of the frame.

That is, of course, if she can get there.

She's turned one of the corridors from her sleeping quarters towards the main hallway, but finds herself...stuck. Seemingly in place in the doorway of one connected hall to another. Each step forward gets her no where. She slams a hand on the invisible barrier. ]

Lotor is less than happy about this new set up, and will be trying to slide out around the effects of these little balls of leaves and berries; unfortunately he's a bit to large to slip past it. It's not the kisses (He doesn't have the hangups that most of these humans do) that bother him, it's the cramping of being trapped in the curve of some hallway until someone walks by.

But it's around that point that she receives Lotor's message: the time and location that he would be willing to meet her, on the Iskaulit. A summons she almost didn't expect would come, but perhaps, he had needed the time to consider it further. It gave her more time to... prepare herself. In what ways she could.

Which meant that she was arriving at the location he indicated, one of the rooms that hadn't really be purposed for anything but a standard observatory. No plants in sight, which seemed promising; they didn't need any extra trouble.

[ New ship. New crew. No other Galra on board. She was used to dealing with different aliens but the amount of humans on board was not what she was expecting. Krolia strode down the long hall to explore the new ship. She was intending to head to the mess hall (to see what sort of food would be there ) when she catches the strange plant hanging over her door. ]

[ Her mistake was stepping into the doorway to investigate. She was going to learn to hate some holiday traditions. ]

Short-lived freedom, unfortunately. How many of these things are there? She crosses her arms, glaring at the offending plant. She would just need to make herself comfortable while waiting for someone to free her from the gym. ]

[It isn't the first time he's seen someone stuck under mistletoe. Nor the dozenth, really. This time, though, he has to fight back laughter at how grouchy Keith's mother looks underneath the plant.

Definite fighting back, because he does not want to be on the receiving end of her annoyance. She still kind of sort of really scares him.]

Looma

[Out of all the tricks the Atroma have pulled, this is easily Looma's least favorite.

Once she'd been clued in as to just how it worked, she'd do her best to avoid ever setting foot near the annoying little sprigs, but the Atroma did love playing dirty. Sometimes they'd appear only after she'd thought it was safe to use any particular door.

She also has exactly zero knowledge of human holiday traditions, so, expect to find the giant princess just standing there positively seething all around the Iskaulit. Because with this nonsense afoot there was no way she'd go anywhere near her own ship.]

[Since this whole thing started, Lance's brain had come up with a shortlist of nightmare scenarios. Being caught under one of these with Haggar would probably be the worst. Lotor, very close second.

And while Lance does care a lot about Looma, she's pretty high up on that list too. Even after all this time, she still scares him, okay.

So of course that's just who he's stuck with on this particular hallway of the Iskaulit.]

[So. Here's Felix, stuck in a doorway. Definitely around the Blameless, but the Iskaulit as well. The most likely culprits doorways are the library and Space Bar doors (and when all else fails, the doorway between the landing bay and the rest of the ship because that's fair.

Invariably, he is going to be staring up at the offending plant with a sour and betrayed look on his face.]
