Regardless of the fact that his position might as well be ceremonial as anything, Kirk took the job seriously, and that included running weekly diagnostics on the ship herself. He headed for the bridge with data pad in hand, pausing when he noticed Lotor's frame already in the cockpit. Huh. ]
