[Honestly, you wouldn't think a girl who can phase through solid matter and rarely uses doors anyway would get caught, but here she is in a doorway with you! She spends most of her time on the Twin Roses or the Iskaulit especially in the gym or Malum where she works, but she's been known to visit friends on the other ships too. This is not her first forced kissing rodeo, so she'll take it all in stride...usually.]

[It's a little after people had started to catch on to the devilish plants. Which is why it may be strange to see Vash casually standing around a doorway of the Twin Roses. He appears to be on the lookout and starts grinning like an idiot when he sees Kitty walking down ~~or through~~ the hall.]

Oh no! I'm stuck! How will I ever get out? [He cries out as he slaps a hand to his head in 'despair'. What's that above him? It's not mistletoe, but in fact just the closest looking green plant Vash could find. This just MIGHT be a set up.] If only there was someone nearby to help me!

[At first the appearance of the green plants was weird. Then, as Taako realized what was going on? It got hilarious. Wherever he finds a few sprigs, he sets up camp just out of range of the green traps and waits, with popcorn, and some wine.

Entertainment hour is a go.]

B. Well shit, he got caught
[But eventually, when he's working in the kitchens or wandering the Iskaulit or just trying to get from Point A to Point B, he gets caught. And try as he might, he can't get away. He tries to Blink. He tries to set the thing on fire. He tries to cut it down, but to no avail.

He's stuck and he's frustrated, using his recently acquired Umbra Staff to swat at the sprig which is just out of his reach.

C. Fishing for a reaper [Closed to Kravitz]
[Yep, this holiday is officially weird as fuck, but? At least it's usefully weird. Taako spends a day pulling down and gathering as many of the mistletoe things as he can, then he goes on a mission. Or a hunt. Maybe both? Whatever. He starts out by stalking around on the Bloodsport, then he goes to the Iskaulit, and wherever he finds his Grim Reaper?

He flings a piece of the mistletoe right into his face - or at the back of his head, or his butt. Wherever he can throw it, Taako is making these mistletoe into missiletoe and firing them off at Kravitz as quickly as he can to see if he can freeze the reaper in one spot. If not? He runs away and tries again later.

[Doorways? Yup, Remy went through quite a few a day with his increased hours at the Bar. He spent a lot of his time going back and forward between the Twin Roses, Iskaulit, and the Tourist. It’s a safe bet you will catch him at one of those places during the night or day, either heading to/back from the bar, making the most of the gym, or just visiting friends.

He’s also been through it all before back at Luceti, but he tended not to be the one trapped. He does not like being trapped. Help him get free?]

[She stops in her tracks when he starts up his act, shaking her head at him before he's even finished with the production.]

Want me to find Remy for you? He's a great kisser. [Pause.] I've heard.

Between the Tourist, the Iskaulit, and sometimes the Twin Roses thanks to a certain red head, there's plenty of doorways for him to pass through. A gamble each and every time, but when has James Kirk never taken a gamble? ]}

[Heading out of work after finishing up closing the Bar for the night, Remy did happen to glance towards Malum as he was leaving out of instinct, to see if anyone he knew was leaving.

And there certainly was. Or he think they were. If they weren't stuck in the door that is.] Ya ok there, petite?

[For as much time as she spends walking through walls her habits really do lead her through doors even more often. She simply walks through closed ones instead of open ones most of the time. It helps avoid some of the circuitry she could be interrupting if she picked another point. That, plus a certain resistance to upending her life just to avoid a kiss, has her going through a door just in time to find she can't go any further. She's not exactly frozen in place, but she doesn't have a lot of wiggle room either.

She knows the drill more or less. It's not something she's seen much of on the fleet yet, but it's certainly a version of something that happened a lot in Marina. She has a sort of breezy approach to the whole thing. At least outwardly. Inwardly, well, stay tuned.]

For the record, you're officially not allowed to blow holes in the walls of the Twin Roses to get out of walking through doors there. [She cocks her head to the side.] Not that you strike me as a man in a hurry to avoid kisses.

As for her current situation, Remy did move in, but it was to lean a shoulder against the wall beside her.] I mean, if the other person be willin'. [But joking aside.] Would ya like a, well, not hand. Or should I give Vash a call?

[She half rolls her eyes at the mention of calling Vash. Making it a production like that sounds more embarrassing than this needs to be.] Would you just kiss me already? [Not something she ever expected to say to Remy—any version of him she's known. But were there times Kitty thought Rogue was crazy for choosing Magneto over him? There were. Her eyes are doing just fine. And does she want to kiss him right now? She does. She doesn't know if that has something to do with the mistletoe itself or something else. Maybe it's just the anticipation?]

[ Kravitz is not 100% sure why he keeps getting beaned in the head with... greenery. But it's happening. Frequently. One time, it even hit him in the butt instead, not sure what happened there. And each time, he notices Taako running off to, he guesses, pick up some more and try again later. ... ?????

In this most recent episode of Attack Of The Leafy Thing, Kravitz is minding his own business, has just finished reading a chapter of a book he picked up on the planet, and is leaving the lounge to head toward his room, but he doesn't even make it two steps into the hallway before there's suddenly a sprig of green flying right at his face. jfdksalj

He blinks a few times as it smacks him in the nose, bounces off and hits the floor. It's only after he picks it up that he notices Taako! ]

Taako, what--

[ He's cut off as he tries to step forward and... can't, like there's some sort of invisible field keeping him where he is. Confused, he even tries backing up, but nope. He's stuck. Not going anywhere. ... This is so weird! ]

[It was after one of those said visits to the Twin Roses this seemed to happen. Sometime in the morning, after having said goodbye to each other so both could do whatever they had planned for the day, Remy had left Jim to see himself out of his room.

Or that was the plan, turning back to see him still in the doorway of his room.] Aw, cher, missin' me 'lready? [A grin in place at the joking, not realizing the situation yet.]

What? No drinks? No flowers? Just straight in 'nd do it? [Ok, he's being a brat. But she should be use to him being one by now.

And, well... yes, they are both with someone, but Kitty was a pretty thing. And a good person. Remy always enjoyed the time they spent together. But this all felt... well, forced. And he didn't like that.

Pushing off the wall, Remy gently cupped a hand against her cheek before leaning in to kiss the other one, pressing a soft kiss to her skin before pulling back just enough to speak.] Hopefully that will work.

[It took way too many tries for this to work, and he'd been starting to think that maybe Pan's magic flower shit just wouldn't work on a guy who was literally the death of all things. But finally, right after beaning him in the face, it stuck. As in Kravitz was stuck. Taako smirks as he watches the reaper try to back up, as if reversing direction would somehow free him from Pan's weirdo curse.]

[He steps out from where he'd been no so subtly hiding and strolls on up to Kravitz, staying juuuust barely out of the plant's sphere of influence.]

No, no scratch that, he did love him, but he did actually have things to do today, even if staying abed sounded lovely and not just because it was quite warm beneath the covers. _{[ Kirk has come across Lance in interesting situations before, but seeing the young man struggling in a door way is a new one. He approaches cautiously, both of his eyebrows trying to make their way into his hairline. ]}

_{[ He sucked his teeth, quite irritated, trying to move forward but he might as well have been beating on brick. He turned to move back into Remy's room - and couldn't. He blinked, stymied yet again, and quickly realized his area of movement was very restricted to slightly more than the width of the door. ]}

To, what, not go anywhere? And what if I...? [ He drops the mistletoe to the floor, tries to step forward again, aaaand nope. Didn't work. He squints. ]

[ No luck solving the weird-ass plant god curse puzzle just yet~ ]

[His smile hasn't gone anywhere. If anything, it's getting wider as he watches Kravitz try to puzzle his way out of this.]

Guess you've been kinda, you know, preoccupied with books and shit, so you haven't noticed. These green plants have been poppin' up and people are getting stuck until they finish a task.

[And he takes another step forward, right on the edge of the plant's pull. He can feel it tugging on him already, but he resists. He doesn't want this shit to go sideways and leave him trapped in there with Kravitz until he's certain it's going to work.]

[Ok, any jokes there had been are gone, replaced with real concern. This wasn't funny anymore. He doubted it would help, but Remy had to try; gripping Jim's hand and he gave it a solid tug, testing to see if an outside force helped with freeing his man.] Yeah, this gone beyond bein' funny now.

[ mistletoe. loki had a fondness for mistletoe. with the plant, he had crafted an excellent story about how he had murdered a fictional brother with a plant. and a generation of gullible mortals bought it. so loki makes a few mistle-toe arrows and walks around whistling, putting everyone on deliberate edge. and when he's approached, loki simply raises an eyebrow, innocent. ]
