[Doorways? Yup, Remy went through quite a few a day with his increased hours at the Bar. He spent a lot of his time going back and forward between the Twin Roses, Iskaulit, and the Tourist. It’s a safe bet you will catch him at one of those places during the night or day, either heading to/back from the bar, making the most of the gym, or just visiting friends.

He’s also been through it all before back at Luceti, but he tended not to be the one trapped. He does not like being trapped. Help him get free?]

[Kogarasumaru is simply heading through the Iskaulit, likely to go to his dojo. However, he pauses when he sees a man who simply cannot seem to leave a doorway. That's quite surprising.

Bare feet padding on the ground, he walks over, looking up at the man. (Seriously, he's quite short.) His wing like hair swaying a little as he tilts his head.]

Are you trapped?

[This was not how Remy wanted to spend his day. He had stuff to do! Though right now he was just leaning against the door frame while he waited, arms crossed, and starting to get seriously annoyed by this all. It was funny at first, but funny when it was happening to others, not him.

The bare feet made Kogarasumaru's approach harder to detect, and when Remy went to look towards the voice, it took a moment to drop his vision down to find it. Oh, hi there.] Ah, yeah, seems so. [Managing to put a smile on despite the annoyance at this all.] At least I got something to lean against while I wait 'round though.

[There's a laugh from him at that comment. A more positive outlook even if he's sure the man isn't quite feeling that way. It seems plenty of people are getting stuck under doors though from what he's been noticing as he's gone around.]

It almost makes you look like you are waiting for someone instead.

[Looking around for anything different about the door, he brings a finger to his chin in a thoughtful gesture.]

Maybe just the right person. [Ok, that was a bit of a line, but Remy couldn't help it, it was just set up far too well.

Though it didn't take too long to shake it off, remembering his current situation.] Yeah, one of the poor folk who got trapped up in all this. [Pointing a finger up to the mistletoe. He had seen it before, even before the Fleet. At least this type wasn't the 'sleeping beauty to wake with a kiss' type he had come across in the past.]

[He actually smiles at the line. It's cute really. Honestly it reminds him of perhaps one or two of his children a little bit.]

Should I find you the right person or will I do for now?

If ya volunteerin', [Honestly, for the most, Remy wasn't picky. What was a casual kiss between two people? As long as it wasn't someone he didn't like, and the other person was ok with it, not a problem.] I would appreciate it.

Though I suppose if so, should be polite 'nd all. Hi, 'm Remy, nice to meet ya.

I am Kogarasumaru. It is fine meeting you, Remy.

[He shifts closer and rises up further on his toes. Not that it gets him very high with how tiny he is. But at least he tries?]

Thank ya, [It was worth saying once again as Remy straightened up from his lean against the door frame and dropped his head down closer to Kogarasumaru's height. The fact he went up on his toes brought a smile to Remy's face, that he was trying to be helpful, and also illustrating their height differences.

And... there was a moment of hesitation. Kogaraurmaru had quite a young looking face, and with that height...] Ah, how old are ya?

This father became of age many years ago. I am well over a couple thousand years old at this point.

[He smiles up at him before reaching up to catch him by the back of the head. To pull him down the rest of the way to press his lips to Remy's. He's no child, he can make that quite clear. And they're really not getting out of here if they continue to discuss this.

Remy is sure to note that this tiny frame is stronger than it appears to be too.]

[ Jim's making his way to the library on the Iskaulit when he spots Remy down the hallway, leaning against a door frame, looking more than a little displeased. It doesn't take much for Jim to realize what's happened, and his lips curl into a small smile as he approaches, peering up to confirm the mistletoe is hanging above his head.

He leans back again, trying to stay out of the force field. Not because he'd mind kissing Remy, but because he doesn't want to assume that Remy would be fine with that. ]

Caught you too, huh? [ He tips his head. ] How many times for you, so far?

[Remy was so use to looking out for Jim that he does notice Kirk before he spoke and instantly gave him a quick once over to assess who he was. Then smiled when he didn't have to. His Jim would had been more an ass about this whole situation, Kirk was more polite.] Greetin's Captain, ya been havin' fun with this all too?

Ahh, actually 've been rather lucky, this only m' second go so far. Have seen others go through it though.

[ He could be more of an ass. If he knew Remy a little better, he probably would, even. Right now being more polite made him more recognizable, at least, so that worked in his favor, seen as he wasn't trying to pass off as his twin. ]

Can't say I mind a bit of harmless kissing all that much. [ Hadn't been so bad, so far. Mostly he'd just done it to get people out of the force fields. Well, save for his run-in with Kirk... but he wasn't going to tell Remy about that. That would be a special surprise he'd just have to wait for. ]

You want me to help you with that?

Ah, after all, what's a casual kiss between friends, hein? [A grin to go with it.] Helps build bonds.

[The thing is... this was weird. Like, not a bad weird, but... it was Jim's face, but not Jim. Then again, it was just a kiss, and that wasn't weird, especially with Jim. And please, Remy can control himself, not like it would get out of hand or anything.] Would appreciate it if ya offerin'.

[winscenario]

[ Jim narrowed his eyes a little at Remy. ] I can see why he likes you.

[ And by 'he', Jim clearly meant the other him. Still, he stepped closer, purposefully walking underneath that doorstep, and getting trapped inside the same force field that was keeping Remy prisoner. ]

Cheek kisses work sometimes. We could always try that first.

[ Just in case Remy would feel weirded out about a proper kiss with him. ]

Well I am stunnin' handsome 'nd have a sparklin' personality. [A bright and wide grin to go along with that before it resettled into a smile.

Though Remy had to shake his head at Kirk also trapping himself, amused at the other man's confidence over this all. Then again, at his core, he was Jim, even if their experiences had molded them differently.] Ya know, if ya want more than one kiss, all ya have to do is ask.

Yes, and you're modest too! The whole package. [ His tone was teasing rather than accusatory, though. As if Jim Kirk could ever fault anyone for a lack of modesty.

He arched an eyebrow pointedly at that comment, crossing his arms and looking Remy up and down. Slowly. ] If I wanted more than one kiss, then I'd just take it. As you probably know, if you know me well at all.

[ Which he did, sort of?? Weird to think about it like that, but it was the truth. In a fundamental level, he and Kirk were very much the same. ]

[Now here's the thing; Remy was being cautious. To not feel like he was pressuring Kirk until they got to know each other better by just assuming he knew him just because of his Jim. It was also to make sure he himself was able to separate the two when he saw them and not just fall into habits from seeing that lovely face that he adored.

But Remy also liked to pushed back when he was pushed. And that look, that comment, was a push, and Remy really couldn't help himself. Reaching a hand over Kirk's shoulder so he could support himself against the door frame behind him, Remy leaned into him, stopping just short of his face.] Willin' to get to know ya better, cher, 'nd take plenty of time to do so. [Not fully adding that purr to his tone that he liked to use, the one that he had used on that first mistaken identity introduction they had, but there was still a warm rumble to those words.]

[Pavel also frequents doorways! Since they tend to hang out on the same ships and work in the same bar, he is not at all surprised when he, Remy, and mistletoe converge in a doorway on the Tourist.]

I wondered when this would happen.

Does seem to be the season, don't it? [Yep, this was turning into a thing. Even with Remy trying to keep an eye out for those damn little leaves, and to destroy those he did spot, they always seemed to come back. Or stayed unnoticed until he was trapped.]

Maybe should start keepin' a tally on how many each person gettin' caught. Takin' bets on who gets caught the most, see if we can make some money off it.

[This is nothing. Back in Marina, there were shrinking force fields and judgmental robots to make the mandatory kissing even more exciting.]

Always looking for ways to turn misfortune into opportunity--this is why I like you. [He's mostly teasing. Not about liking Remy, of course!] Although this is more inconvenient than unfortunate, I think.

[Kissing? Fun. Forced kissing against one's will? Less so.

Remy let out a sigh.] Yeah, I don't mind the way gettin' out of this, but gettin' caught up in them be annoyin', especially when got places to be.

've tried destroyin' them too, but they keep comin' back.

[Eh, a person gets used to it after the fourth or fifth time.]

Have you tried destroying them while they were effecting you? I would try myself, but I would need a ladder. [Heck, he might need a ladder to kiss Remy.] Or perhaps a flamethrower.

[Remy laughed at that,] Let's hold off on the open flames 'til on a planet, don't think those mix well with spaceships. [Before giving a shake of his head.] Tried, but don't seem to help once ya stuck under them. Seem even with it's gone it... like makes a field or something 'round it so can't get out without the magic word. Or I guess the magic action.

Will take it down once we out of this though, seems can stop it for a couple of hours before it shows back up again. [Then another grin.] Unless ya want it there 'nd try 'nd plan to catch someone special under it.

[He pretends to be put-out by the lack of plant-burning in the immediate future.] Then I suppose we're left with no choice.

[Remy's suggestion gets an overly-dramatic sigh.] Unfortunately, I don't think that there is anyone who would be appreciative if I trapped them with mistletoe.
