[There's a laugh from him at that comment. A more positive outlook even if he's sure the man isn't quite feeling that way. It seems plenty of people are getting stuck under doors though from what he's been noticing as he's gone around.]

It almost makes you look like you are waiting for someone instead.

[Looking around for anything different about the door, he brings a finger to his chin in a thoughtful gesture.]

Maybe just the right person. [Ok, that was a bit of a line, but Remy couldn't help it, it was just set up far too well.

Though it didn't take too long to shake it off, remembering his current situation.] Yeah, one of the poor folk who got trapped up in all this. [Pointing a finger up to the mistletoe. He had seen it before, even before the Fleet. At least this type wasn't the 'sleeping beauty to wake with a kiss' type he had come across in the past.]

[He actually smiles at the line. It's cute really. Honestly it reminds him of perhaps one or two of his children a little bit.]

Should I find you the right person or will I do for now?

If ya volunteerin', [Honestly, for the most, Remy wasn't picky. What was a casual kiss between two people? As long as it wasn't someone he didn't like, and the other person was ok with it, not a problem.] I would appreciate it.

Though I suppose if so, should be polite 'nd all. Hi, 'm Remy, nice to meet ya.

I am Kogarasumaru. It is fine meeting you, Remy.

[He shifts closer and rises up further on his toes. Not that it gets him very high with how tiny he is. But at least he tries?]

Thank ya, [It was worth saying once again as Remy straightened up from his lean against the door frame and dropped his head down closer to Kogarasumaru's height. The fact he went up on his toes brought a smile to Remy's face, that he was trying to be helpful, and also illustrating their height differences.

And... there was a moment of hesitation. Kogaraurmaru had quite a young looking face, and with that height...] Ah, how old are ya?

This father became of age many years ago. I am well over a couple thousand years old at this point.

[He smiles up at him before reaching up to catch him by the back of the head. To pull him down the rest of the way to press his lips to Remy's. He's no child, he can make that quite clear. And they're really not getting out of here if they continue to discuss this.

Remy is sure to note that this tiny frame is stronger than it appears to be too.]

[Oh. Well. Yeah. In that case, that works.

And planned kiss or not, that grab was still enough to catch him off guard, mouth a little open and ready to reply when it happened. There was a brief huff of a 'ha' against Kogarasumaru's lips and that kiss, waiting for that hold to lessen on his neck so he could step back.]

[He lets go soon after the kiss starts and smiles when it ends. Lowering himself back down onto his heels, he tilts his head a bit.]

I am not so experienced with this act as others may be so I hope it was good enough for you.

[A warm chuckle as Remy straightened up, then also reaching out above him towards the top of that doorframe, brushing a finger over that mistletoe to burn it away with his powers. Or for a while at least, it would be back later...]

Was a wonderful kiss, I have no complaints. [A smile down to him. Then curiosity got the better of him.] Ya said thousands, so guessin' safe to say ya ain't human.

[Simple. Matter of fact. And it's pretty clear he means that quite literally.]

[There's a rather long pause as Remy took that in, looking Kogarasumaru up and down a few times, and gathering his thoughts before he spoke.] That so?

[Huh.] Gotta say, ya the most fleshy sword 've ever seen. More talkative too.

That be... [Cool? Awesome? Yeah, both of those, but also;] Something I didn't realize was possible of happenin'. This normal for ya'll? [Hmm, that could be a little rude, like asking Remy if he was the 'normal' representation of mutants.

Then again, Kogarasumaru seemed to be handling this all rather well, so he seemed ok with it so far.]

Normal? I suppose if one if familiar with the like of tsukumogami then yes. Of course if you are unfamiliar with something would it truly be considered normal to you? What makes sense to me could simply baffle you in turn.

[That was...] Yeah, I see ya point there. 'nd honestly got no clue if be true back home, got a bunch of weird stuff there. [And that wasn't even counting all the mutants and their powers out there. There was a lot of other strange stuff Remy didn't totally get, just accepted it existed. So a living sword? Sure, why not?

Though it did make him wonder about all the ones he had stolen for someone in the past. Or any old item. Was it just limited to swords? Hmm, this all created more questions than it answered.] Feel like ya be a real 'nterestin' person to talk 'bout this all with, though, wouldn't wanna pry either. Hardly a good way to startin' to get to know someone, bombardin' them with questions.

We keep ourselves hidden away so we don't change the history that we are saving. It would not surprise me if we were there but none from your world were aware.

[He laughs softly all the same.]

We learn by asking questions. If you have them then I would like to answer them. Even if we have just met.

Merci, will take ya up on that offer at some point, maybe over something nice to drink. But for now, think 'm goin' to risk the gauntlet 'nd hopefully get on with m' day without gettin' caught again.
