Well I am stunnin' handsome 'nd have a sparklin' personality. [A bright and wide grin to go along with that before it resettled into a smile.

Though Remy had to shake his head at Kirk also trapping himself, amused at the other man's confidence over this all. Then again, at his core, he was Jim, even if their experiences had molded them differently.] Ya know, if ya want more than one kiss, all ya have to do is ask.

Yes, and you're modest too! The whole package. [ His tone was teasing rather than accusatory, though. As if Jim Kirk could ever fault anyone for a lack of modesty.

He arched an eyebrow pointedly at that comment, crossing his arms and looking Remy up and down. Slowly. ] If I wanted more than one kiss, then I'd just take it. As you probably know, if you know me well at all.

[ Which he did, sort of?? Weird to think about it like that, but it was the truth. In a fundamental level, he and Kirk were very much the same. ]

[Now here's the thing; Remy was being cautious. To not feel like he was pressuring Kirk until they got to know each other better by just assuming he knew him just because of his Jim. It was also to make sure he himself was able to separate the two when he saw them and not just fall into habits from seeing that lovely face that he adored.

But Remy also liked to pushed back when he was pushed. And that look, that comment, was a push, and Remy really couldn't help himself. Reaching a hand over Kirk's shoulder so he could support himself against the door frame behind him, Remy leaned into him, stopping just short of his face.] Willin' to get to know ya better, cher, 'nd take plenty of time to do so. [Not fully adding that purr to his tone that he liked to use, the one that he had used on that first mistaken identity introduction they had, but there was still a warm rumble to those words.]

[ The answer was about what he was expecting to get, and his lips curled into a sharper smirk, his arms still crossed. As close as Remy leaned in, Jim didn't move one inch, so their faces did end up getting pretty close.

He saw little point in putting any distance between them anyway, considering what they had to do to break free from the force field. ]

Yeah, you do seem very willing. [ His breath was a warm tickle near Remy's chin and mouth, though he didn't close the distance. He liked to tease anyway, which probably wasn't that much of a surprise to Remy. ] Unfortunately there's only so much you can get to know, though... you may as well take the chance while it's still there for the taking.

[Good, Remy would hate to think he was taking a step too far, and he was gambling on the fact this was still Kirk, and his personality and attitude would mean he wouldn't have an issue with this.]

Well, if it's got a chance to get 'way, who am I to not make the most of it, hein? [Delivered with a smile before closing that last inch or so of space to finish that with a kiss. Not quite a brush of the lips as he had done for others, and certainly not to the level as he would with his Jim, it both soft and firm at the same time, and lingering longer than just a quick peck. After all, Kirk just set that challenge and Remy was going to answer it back.]

See, I knew you were a smart man.

[ He just had to get one last tease in, alright. He did shut up once Remy leaned closer, at least, canting his head a little to press back into that kiss. It wasn't too deep or heated, and Jim had no intention of letting himself get carried away, but he still slid one hand up, cupping Remy's neck, letting out a soft hum against his lips. ]

[Yep, ok, he shouldn't be surprised by that, and there was a happy chuckle from his throat without breaking the kiss. He know he shouldn't, that this was a tool to get out of that trap, but Remy didn't move to break that kiss just yet. Almost as if it was a game of chicken and he was wanting Kirk to back down first.]

[ Jim wasn't planning on letting the contact linger for particularly long, but if there was a game of chicken afoot, then he couldn't very well back down so easily, could he? Granted, all things considered, he was likely to be the one to break the contact, but he was not going to go down without a fight.

His other hand moved up to Remy's neck too, and he arched himself a little closer, canting his head. His fingers carded through Remy's hair, thumbs dragging along the back of his ears. ]

[Remy was all ready to laugh, even if it was into that kiss, at the fact this was still going and Kirk was continuing to add to it.

Apart from the fact that it was starting to feel very nice, and all too familiar; with that kiss, and those fingers through his hair. And that... was a little dangerous, having to keep in mind this was not Jim. As much as Remy would like to 'win' this unsaid game, his pride wasn't strong enough to force him to keep going when he felt it should end.

He did let out a bit of a chuckle though before moving his head back just enough to break that kiss, but not fully pull free of Kirk's grip.] This how ya helpin' everyone out of this situation, cheri?

[ Jim let the kiss break easily, not feeling a particularly intense need to chase after Remy's lips, nice though that kiss was. It was fun, but he knew how to skirt the line, and knew when not to push, and this was just the right moment to stop.

He laughed at the question, plucking at Remy's jacket before stepping back with a wink. ]

Well, not everyone. Like I told you, cheek kisses do work sometimes.

Yeah, but where's the fun in that? [It was only after that line, and after Kirk was done with his coat, that Remy pushed himself off the door frame he was leaning against to straight up.]

[ Jim laughed and shook his head. He... couldn't really argue with that, though, even if he was a happily committed man. ]

Don't mention it. Do try not to catch any poor innocent bystanders by surprise, will you? Behave. [ He said playfully, patting Remy's arm as they went their own ways down the hallway. ]
