Of course.

[Good thing he has his blade body on himself. He unsheathes that now, clearly ready to make the strikes without question. If this is what his child requires then why would he hesitate on the matter.]

[Manji shifts his left arm in his hand and holds out both stub ends to Koga to cut.] Oh yeah. I can't wait to have both my arms back. Do it.

cw: gore, blood, so on...

Very well. [The slashes are quick and clean. They slice the layers off both in two strikes before he flips his sword to flick away any blood attached to it.]

There.

[Koga's cut is fast and expertly done. So well done that for a moment there's no pain, but it does come eventually.] Ah fuck. [He hates that part. Where his immortality does little to stop the pain of injuries even if it will quickly heal them.

He pushes his severed arm against his newly bleeding stump. Grunting in pain he holds it there and at first nothing seems to be happening, but if Koga was to watch closely he'll see the skin between the two cuts slowly start to move and shift. Thin red worms weave their way from the severed arm into the stump and vice versa. They knit together as if repairing a piece of cloth and after only a minute or two Manji is able to let go of his left arm and it stays in place.] That's much better. [He says with a grin as he stiffly twitches a finger to test his newly reattached arm. The movement is slow and stiff, but will get better with a bit more time.] Oh, I've missed you my old friend.

[He watches with interest. For some this would likely be disturbing but he has given and been inside too many wounds to be bothered by this. So when the arm is fully attached and Manji starts to move it, he just moves forward so he can lightly touch with the tips of his fingers.]

This should make our continued fights more interesting, I think.

[canofmanji]

[The skin is still a bit cold to the touch from the lack of moving fresh blood in the limb. Given a little more time and this will correct itself. Manji won't stop Koga if he wants to look at the limb more.]

Oh yeah. Once this heals I'll be back at full strength. You won't have such an easy time beating me next time we throw down. [He's not foolish enough to think he'll win, but he'll certainly do better. A lot better.]

Wonderful. I have been wondering what you are like when you are at your full strength.

[To face a warrior at his full strength? That is quite the honor for any fighter. And that includes himself.]

You should reach out to me when your arm can move completely.

I'm a force to be reckoned with. I'll let you know when it's completely healed and I find us a place where we can spill some real blood. [He gets it. No blood in the dojo.] I'll let you know the moment I do. Count on it.

You are certainly something. I will agree with that. I do look forward to a fight where we can go all out if that is our desire. It has been some time since this father has had such a battle.

Well, next planet. Me and you? We'll have ourselves another fight. Although I'm thinking this time I should charge people for the pleasure of watching. [He had not been expecting the audience they got before.]

You could learn to filter your messages to avoid the audience.

People could learn to mind their own damn business.

Perhaps. Though it becomes difficult with so public a challenge.

[Manji just snorts.] Suppose I can't really blame them. This space travel stuff is pretty boring for, you know, being in space. I would watch someone fight too.

Would you watch or would you join in?

I'd watch. Unless one of the fighters wanted to go for a round two.

[crow_dad]

[Of course he laughs at that.]

Your blood burns with the need for battle it seems. Well I look forward to our next match. For now I shall depart so I may return to what I was doing earlier.
