Right! Yeah! Okay... This is cool. I mean, I kiss my family members on the cheek all the time, and you're kind of like a family member now, so...

[Maybe a little less babbling next time, Lance. He clears his throat and walks over.]

That fine?

You're hesitating.

[ She sighs, uncrossing her arms. ]

That's fine. I see no issue with a kiss on the cheek. You are doing me a favor, after all.

I am not!

[He takes a deep breath. Nothing to be afraid of, Lance. The paladin strides over, and... Wow, she's even taller when he's pretty much all up in her grill. As if he needed any more reason to feel intimidated.

But no! He's a brave paladin who is unafraid, so he gets up on his tiptoes (seriously?, he thinks) and gives her a kiss on her cheek.]

[ She should tease him. Be more friendly to this boy who is seeing her son, but no. Watching him actually get on his tip-toes to kiss her cheek was much more amusing despite her passive expression.

She relaxes after the kiss, quickly moving out from underneath the door frame. ]

Thank you. [ A pause. ] Show me around?

[Well, that went a lot smoother than he thought. Not that he had any specific ideas as to what could have possibly went wrong. Lance knows he really has to work on this whole being intimidated by his boyfriend's mom thing.

He gives her one of his patented Lance charming smiles before stepping back, now that the forcefield has disappeared.]

I can do that! Is there anything you wanted to see in specific, or just a general tour?

A general tour. I would like to see more of the ship and assess what would be needed as we go forward.

[ Which was the more practical approach. If she was to meet the demands of the Atroma, she would at least be useful and assist where needed. ]

Right, of course. Honestly, most of what's here is more recreation than practical, I've found. But different people like to start new businesses or parks or whatnot here, so it's always growing.

[Lance nods at her to follow him, beginning to stroll as he maps out a good path in his head to show her as much as he can.]

[ Then again she shouldn't be so surprised. ]

Fascinating. Was the ship derelict? It appears restoration efforts are going well if it's growing.

I don't think it was ever really derelict. It's been here for a long time. I mean, we're only the current "season" of whatever this reality show is after all. But some people have managed to put together parks and plants and stuff even on a ship like this. Heck, on my ship, Mikleo's managed to make a little kind of farm-meadow thing. That's where Kaltenecker stays. Who you should totally come by and visit soon! I'm sure she'd be happy to see you.

[Pause.]

She's kind of tiny, though. Not like calf-tiny, just...miniature.
