[He smirks, sliding his hand to the back of Jim's neck and curling his fingers into those short hairs just tight enough to pull a little. He doesn't go too far, since he's not sure the hair-pulling thing is something the Kirks have in common]

I know you to be a clever man. You'll find my weaknesses soon enough.

_{[ Oh, that felt nice. Victor would be rewarded with a light shiver, the faintest parting of his lips. ]}

Are you sure? Once I find them, I’m like to exploit them.

[jolting]

I know.

[And with that, he pulls Jim forward and kisses his lips. He keeps it soft and chaste, but lets it linger for a few seconds. And even when he breaks the kiss, he doesn't let go of Jim's hair]

_{[ Sweet. That’s what he thinks when Victor kisses him, that light brushing that makes him tingle just a little. He wanted to press for more, but considering the unique situation of their relationship he kept it chaste as well, save for just a bit more pressure before they parted. He didn’t fight the fingers that remained in his hair, knuckles brushing over Victor’s jaw. ]}

[He wets his lips, considering. The kiss certainly felt different, but that could just be because Jim isn't as familiar or comfortable with him. He hums at the touch to encourage it]

I think we can do a little better at that.

I agree. And you know how I hate leaving bad impressions.

_{[ His hand cupped Victor's jaw, sliding back and up behind his ear, thumb massaging the tender spot just behind as he drew Victor to him. He pressed his lips more firmly against the other man's this time, shifting to find the way to mold against his mouth, tongue brushing faintly over the bottom curve, wanting more, but not sure how far Victor wished to go. Though, frankly, neither of them might have a choice. That was up to the mistletoe. ]}

[He's gotten lost in kisses like this before. And this one is certainly pleasant. Jim has already found a sensitive spot to exploit, and Victor can't help the shiver feeling that tongue. And yet, his tongue is more curious than hungry when it probes out to taste inside that mouth. This time when he breaks away, his breathing is a little labored]

Well. Ah. That was something.

_{[ He doesn’t follow when Victor pulled away. Not for lack of desire, but reminding himself that Victor was not exactly on the market. Things were odd enough without getting a hard on for your twin’s fiancé. At the least he could see one of the things that attracted Kirk to Victor. ]}

Put some stars in your eyes, did it?

_{[ He flashed a wink, charm bubbling up from a momentarily paused font. ]}

Well... no. Not exactly. [He gently releases his hold on Jim's hair] It's not like kissing James. I still liked it, just not as much as I would've if it were him.

_{[ From anyone else, those words might have cracked his ego. But considering the situation, he was rather glad. As interesting as it had been to kiss Victor, there was just a line he would prefer not to cross - at least, not without consent. And even then, maybe not. ]}

I think that's the first time I've been glad to hear that after kissing someone.

Well, thank you for indulging in my curiosity. We'll be seeing each other again fora chess rematch.

_{[ Was the forcefield down? Kirk wasn’t moving to check, letting Victor control the situation. ]}

Absolutely. I like playing against you. And you need someone who'll challenge you.

[He turns to go. The mistletoe seems satisfied with their display, and allows him to pass. Victor pauses when he notices]

Hm, interesting. I'll have to study this more.

Don't experiment too much now. Other me might get jealous.
