[ Hmm. Well. This was... unexpected and - unpleasant was not quite the word. Awkward, perhaps? He had only ever treated Sansa has a little sister, after all, and had no intention of changing that. Besides, she was Tyrion's wife, and was committed to that. Not that the mistletoe cared. ]
That seems to be the key to getting out of this, yes. But perhaps it will let us get away with the bare minimum. And you could do the kissing. I think the mistletoe doesn't really care if it's one-side or two.

Let's see if we can get free now, shall we?

Can you step away? Go slow. Don't want to hit your head.
[ He had no idea how white the mistletoe made the forcefield on average. Sometimes it squeezed him tight. Other times it left him room to breathe. Thankfully it seemed to be erring on the side of the latter, thankfully. ]
Do you have mistletoe, in Westeros?

It seems to have worked. And yes, we have mistletoe. It's a poison and it grows in the crown of the trees in the Wolfswood. I've never been compelled to kiss anyone under it before.

[ He is glad for the same. The last thing he wanted was for his relationship with Sansa to sour, even if neither was at fault. He let out a breath of his own and moved to join her. ]
Heh, well, there's various stories as to how it became a tradition on Earth. And usually it does not involve forcefields. I do think it is poisonous though. Never had to test that theory myself.

( Sansa peers at him, curious that mistletoe of all things would be associated with kissing. Earth seems like a strange place sometimes. )
Why is it that you're meant to kiss under it, though? It doesn't make much sense to me.
