[Dude, has Tim not heard of dramatic effect before? Ugh! Teenagers.]

[He lets them fight it out as they need to. Well, until he sees blood. Sighing softly, he finishes the tea in his cup before rising to his feel so he can calmly walk past them as if they aren't in the middle of a heated fight to go get his sword. An actual blade.

Unsheathing it, he runs fast, almost too fast for the human eye to follow. Very suddenly he's between them and he's jumping up to land on Manji's shoulders, looking down at him, his blade to his neck.]

Would you mind standing down? Blood is very difficult to clean from my mats. If you wish to continue I have to care for his nose first.

[He already has a feeling the boy will back down so he just focuses on Manji.]

I don't know! A couple? [He mostly didn't know because it was so hard to know who was truly evil and where things go a bit murky. Still, as much as he hated her, he trusted the woman who cursed him to keep her word once he reached a thousand if he was keeping count or not.

He wants to give Tim a chance to catch his breath, but he doesn't want him to think he was going easy on him either. Slowly he started to approach Tim again to see if this fight was going to continue when suddenly there was Koga between them. Then just as suddenly Koga was gone but there was an uncomfortably familiar weight on his shoulders again.] Damn it, every time-- [Even as he grumbles out his annoyance at the interruption he lowers the training sword down.] --I'm stopping, alright? [You get a little blood lust crazy in ONE fight.] You know there are other ways of tellin' me to stop besides jumping up there, right?

[Tim was already getting back into stance as Manji approached and he'd seen out of the corner of his eye Koga moving about his dojo but what he didn't expect was for him to interfere with the fight so he's a little shocked. Especially where he chooses to do it.]

It's alright, the blood is just on me. We can continue, um in a moment.

[He looks around to double check that and to make sure it's still not too much of a problem. Although he will admit he's lost a bit of steam. He just doesn't want to be saved. He's not an amateur.]

[He smiles and sheathes the sword as he actually pats Manji on the head before jumping down. Then he walks over to Tim and reaches up to touch his face.]

Let me get you cleaned up. You two can come have tea with me while you rest.

[And just like that he turns away to go to his tea set. Come along now children.
(Never mind that he looks younger than both of you.)]

HEY! [Seeing as Manji doesn't have a free hand he swats his hand above his head when he feels that pat with the sword still in it. Of course, Kogarasumaru is long gone before he's in any danger of being hit by Manji's knee-jerk reaction to being patronized.] Don't you do that again! [They both should know that is an empty threat from Manji as he storms off towards the tea set.

If Koga was saying to stop then he was going to stop. He didn't want the little blade kicking his ass in front of Tim right now. Still, it won't stop him from grumbling about the situation.] Pft. I'm surprised you don't have some decent sake around here. [He'll accept the tea because it was still a nice reminder of home, but he certainly would rather have something much stronger than tea at any time.]

[Tim will actually look to Manji to see what he should do and follow along to sit down across from Kogarasumaru and next to Manji. It's funny how quickly the anger drained out and now he just watching the dynamic between these two]

I wouldn't be able to drink the sake anyway. I'm underage.

[He makes sure he's not sitting on his cape and pulls out a napkin from a pocket of his belt to dab at his face.]

I have sake. I simply don't provide it for bad children.

[So you both get tea. Which he pours now for both of them, handing it over before fetching a cloth.]

Let me help you get that cleaned up. It will be easier for one who can see your face.

[Manji tips his head back and let's out a loud roar of laughter.] Ha-ha! That's a funny one, kid! [Tim was making a joke, right? Not drinking because some weird age limit when he's dressed like that and on a reality TV show out in space? Very funny! Wait, why doesn't he seem to be laughing?] I mean, you are kidding, right? If you can go after killers then I'm pretty sure you're allowed to have some sake.

[And yes, he's pointedly ignoring Koga right now, because screw you ~~Dad~~, he's not some kid!]

[As he looks down at the tea there is a very big part of Tim that needs to know if he's getting this cause his a bad child. He doesn't voice that though]

It's not just the legality of it. It has been proven that consuming alcohol while you're brain is a still developing can cause permanent damage to the hippocampus; making it harder to retain new information.

If you are not of age then it would please me to continue to serve you tea. When you feel you are ready I will be pleased to give you your first taste of sake.

Manji, much has been learned about the mind and body since your time. He is quite the knowledgeable young man.

[Manji just snorts in an unimpressed sort of way. Although the well trained ear may pick up his mumbled: just a showoff under his breath as he drinks his tea.]

[Tim is used to Alfred insisting on inspecting all his injuries when he can so he just does as he's told or guided to do; as long as he doesn't attempt to remove the cowl.]

We're just products of different eras and upbringings. I'm sure Manji knows a lot of things that I don't; things that just don't come up where and when I'm from.

Of course he does. He is older than you and has seen many things you have not. Things I will even hope you never see. I simply scold him because he is one of my children now.

[This is the first Manji is hearing about this so be prepared for a show, Tim.]

[For half a second Manji actually sits up a little straighter. Looking proud and pleased with himself. Hell yeah, he knows a lot of things that blanket head here doesn't!]

[Wait, what was the second part there?] HEY! I ain't yours or nobody's kid. Haven't been for a long time. Besides! I thought you said all your kids are swords, blades, or-- [Huh, wait. If all of Koga's kids are weapons, does that mean he sees Manji as being strong like a blade? The man's sudden confliction is probably evident on his face until he scoffs and looks away.] Whatever. Do you normally just pronounce people your children? and what does Manji mean? That all your children are swords?

Not at all. I have only come to see two here as my children so far. But Manji is referring to the fact that I am the father of all swords.

[He will definitely be ignoring the outburst from Manji. Because that is definitely his child. Instead he moves over so he can lift his own cup of tea up to sip from it.]

The katana as you know it today was based on my design.

[Tim will mimick Koga in starting to drink and sip at his tea. He's used to a different type of tea etiquette so is trying hard not to offend.]

[He moves to his sword and unsheathes it. Unlike a normal katana which is only sharp one side, it's clear that this extends to the other side as well.]
