I visited the tree in the ice caves. After having a lovely conversation with it, I was able to receive this sword.

[By conversation he basically means he talked to it on his own. The tree didn't talk back to him in the slightest.]

This father was very grateful as well. It is a very disturbing sensation to have your body not existing in the same universe as your soul.

From what I can tell you have to give something up in order to get something back? It doesn't have to be physical though, you can tell it stories of things you've done for the people here or give up a secret.

He is correct. I believe the idea is to give something precious or do something good to receive a reward for it. It's quite a pleasant concept.

I could come with you and if you do something nice to me then it should work. Though it does not appear to offer what you ask for. Rather it gives you something from your world. Perhaps at random.

I think that Robin's mask is quite nice.

I'd say he's being some sort of shinobi- [Or a Ninja Batman?] -except he's not smart enough to stop the bad guys from getting back up again. So I think that mask is stupid and pointless. [YEAH HE SAID IT]

Thank you Kogarasumaru-san. I've travelled a lot for business so I've picked up a few things. Unfortunately Japanese isn't one of my known languages so that part is limited.

and Manji, Shinobi isn't exactly the word I'd use although I can see the comparison.

There is nothing wrong with stopping evils without death. I think that is quite the interesting method. It can be very hard on weapons to see themselves used to end the lives of others repeatedly.

Only thing wrong with it is when the bad guys keep coming at you over and over. And I'm not avoiding the conversation I've already said there is nothing to get my dad. He's not here and dead. And Koga needs nothing I could give him.

No, when I graduated from superhero school I tacked on a Red to my normal Robin.

And I'm definitely going to take you up on that and next time you'll get the bloody nose. Do you want us to come hold your hand at the tree?

And yes I use a bo staff because it's a non-lethal weapon most of the time. The teacher who gifted me my collapsible one was rather disappointed in me for that.
But she was an assassin so I wasn't surprised.
