[He's just going to say it now as he looks down at them from his perch above since he's ahead.]

You say that like it's a long story. It ain't. [But Manji won't spill it right here. He doesn't keep secrets, but he doesn't tend to over share when it's not wanted (unless it's to share his "wise" opinions) either.]

Oh, and like our relationship isn't strange? [Manji snorts back up at the living weapon.]

We just met a few hours ago, and we've kissed, fought and shared too many secrets with each other and recovered a whole arse arm.

I would be worried if it wasn't weird.

[crow_dad]

It is. Strange is nice though, yes?

[He considers Robin a moment then taps his chin.] I have also kissed Manji. Shall I kiss you as well to bring the matter full circle?

[canofmanji]

[Manji scowls and quickens his pace. He's not sure seeing these two kiss is something he really cares about at all.]

[Tim laughs] When did you kiss Manji? Was this also a mistletoe forcefield again?

I only kissed him on the cheek though, just to clarify.

It was. It was quite the situation. We had to try more than once to make it work.

[canofmanji]

Yeah, yeah, but we got it done which is all that mattered in the end. [Manji scoffs over his shoulder as he walks ahead of them. He doesn't keep secrets, but that doesn't mean he's overly excited to talk about things he's embarrassed by.]

[Tim chuckles]

You had to try more than once? What went wrong?

[Sorry Manji, Tim finds this hilarious]

Who knows. But we freed ourselves in the end.

[He turns so he can continue climbing again, making his way up to the top like apparently the climb is still just not a challenge. Then again when you're small and weigh very little, it becomes much easier to balance on nearly impossible places.

Much like a bird.]

[canofmanji]

[Manji just mutters about stupid mistletoe and tress and maybe a few grumbles about trying to climb with one arm. He really can't wait to get his arm back on as he stops joining in on the talk to focus on climbing.]

[Tim keeps up in the climb but doesn't push himself to keep up with Koga but eventually all three will make it back to the Iskaulit in one piece.]

Do you want us to make sure you're okay with reattaching your arm?

[crow_dad]

[Kogarasumaru laughs softly.]

This is something he doesn't require our help with. The creatures within him will finish the work as they are meant to.

[canofmanji]

I don't care if you want to stay, kid, but I don't need any help. Just make up your mind quick if you're staying or not. [Manji hums to himself and turns on the warm tap water of the sink before sticking his arm under it. Hoping to warm up the severed limb a little bit and make sure the worms were awake. He didn't want this to take TOO long after all.] Because there's going to be a lot of blood and it's going to be gross.

[Tim looks like he debates sticking around for a while, he is curious to see how this works in practice, but in the end, he decides to back out]

I think I'll leave you to it then. I can't think of a reason good enough to subject myself to that much blood and gore if there's going to be a lot.

Alright. So kid is out. Did you want to stay and watch the fun Kogarasumaru?

[crow_dad]

I will remain. I have seen more blood and gore than you will ever cause in my lifetime.

[canofmanji]

Then you may as well help.

[Manji will wait for Tim to leave. Rubbing and warming up that arm as fast as he can. Once he's satisfied that the worms are "awake" enough as he puts it he'll ask if Koga will do that honors.]

Look, I've done this on my own before, but I'll be honest. It's faster if one person cuts and the other holds. If you can cut just a small layer off this arm off and a layer off my stub then all I need to do is smash the two bleedin' parts of them together. Think ya can do that? [He won't say it out loud, but Koga is the only one he's willing to offer up the job of cutting to. He knows the crow will cut sharp and fast. Less pain that way. Although he won't say no if Koga request to be the one to hold the arm in place rather than do the cutting.]

[crow_dad]

Of course.

[Good thing he has his blade body on himself. He unsheathes that now, clearly ready to make the strikes without question. If this is what his child requires then why would he hesitate on the matter.]

Are you ready?

[canofmanji]

[Manji shifts his left arm in his hand and holds out both stub ends to Koga to cut.] Oh yeah. I can't wait to have both my arms back. Do it.

cw: gore, blood, so on...

Very well. [The slashes are quick and clean. They slice the layers off both in two strikes before he flips his sword to flick away any blood attached to it.]

There.

[canofmanji]

[Koga's cut is fast and expertly done. So well done that for a moment there's no pain, but it does come eventually.] Ah fuck. [He hates that part. Where his immortality does little to stop the pain of injuries even if it will quickly heal them.

He pushes his severed arm against his newly bleeding stump. Grunting in pain he holds it there and at first nothing seems to be happening, but if Koga was to watch closely he'll see the skin between the two cuts slowly start to move and shift. Thin red worms weave their way from the severed arm into the stump and vice versa. They knit together as if repairing a piece of cloth and after only a minute or two Manji is able to let go of his left arm and it stays in place.] That's much better. [He says with a grin as he stiffly twitches a finger to test his newly reattached arm. The movement is slow and stiff, but will get better with a bit more time.] Oh, I've missed you my old friend.

[crow_dad]

[He watches with interest. For some this would likely be disturbing but he has given and been inside too many wounds to be bothered by this. So when the arm is fully attached and Manji starts to move it, he just moves forward so he can lightly touch with the tips of his fingers.]

This should make our continued fights more interesting, I think.

[canofmanji]

[The skin is still a bit cold to the touch from the lack of moving fresh blood in the limb. Given a little more time and this will correct itself. Manji won't stop Koga if he wants to look at the limb more.]

Oh yeah. Once this heals I'll be back at full strength. You won't have such an easy time beating me next time we throw down. [He's not foolish enough to think he'll win, but he'll certainly do better. A lot better.]
