time to bully the vampire aka ii
[ He's been watching Alucard's attempts to find an alternative way into the Iskaulit's library for about the last ten minutes. It started out as the best, most entertaining thing ever. But if he's being honest, it's become a little old by now.
Mistletoe hanging from things isn't particularly new for Trevor, though the meaning here is completely lost on him. As far as he's concerned, the big spaceboat is just really safe from werewolves and dark spirits right now. And that's mostly okay by him. Aside from the fact that it's keeping the local vampire from his books. That is to say, keeping the local vampire from the best source of a distraction so that he can run off and drink himself half to death undisturbed. ]
I'm taking that shit down. This is getting sad.
u meanie
I heard these ones have a tendency of spreading despite intervention.
if alucard just leaves him here he will absolutely deserve it
[ He gives a quiet, approving 'huh.' at that. Fuckers know what they're doing. But it's between him and being free of the thing that's currently between him and a good drink, and that cannot be allowed. He reaches up to grab the mistletoe and tosses it to one side. He does not toss it at Alucard, which he thinks is highly charitable on his part. ]
Problem solved. Shit loses its power if it touches the earth. Which- [ They're a little low on 'earth' for it to touch, being on a spaceship and all. Maybe if he tosses it into the soil in the community gardens. ] -fuck it, the floor probably counts.
[ It doesn't. And since he's not yet tried to walk away, he's got no idea that he's stuck. ]
don't tempt him
Do you have any idea what those are?
no subject
[ He's a Belmont. His understanding of mistletoe is weird and semi-practical and does not include forcefields or kissing. ]
Gets its power from being a plant that doesn't grow in the earth, so it loses it the second it hits the ground. You're welcome.
[ And with that he tries to get out of the doorway so that Alucard can go distract himself with books. And he can move- about a foot or so in any direction before he walks right into something. Well shit. ]
no subject
Not that meaning, Belmont. The plant has no real power over me.
[ he's not dark magic, merely an amalgamation of two natures. he's not unholy, just . . . new. a change in the fabric of reality. ]
Here it is different. Everything is different.
no subject
[ Another attempt, and nope, he's not going anywhere and also his nose aches from walking right into an invisible wall. Well shit. Again. ]
...Like normal folk. Betrayed by a fucking plant.
no subject
You could have simply asked me. Were you watching me the whole time?
no subject
[ It's not any more, of course, now that he's the victim. ]
Go get your books. I'll figure out how to get out of this before I go drink myself stupid.
no subject
It is meant to facilitate . . . physical congress. Such as a kiss.
no subject
[ The fuck? The fuck. Plants are weird. And if he ever trusted them he sure as fuck does not trust them any more. ]
So I have to kiss someone and then the stupid fucking plant lets me go so I can go work on drinking until I forget it?
no subject
and it is. just barely. ]
Yes. Someone within the same vicinity.
no subject
[ If he's going to have to do this no matter what, then he's going to make it weird. It's important to make sure your vampire's day is ruined. ]
no subject
Are you going to use your noble manners on me, Belmont? It may not be enough as you are surely rusty.
no subject
[ Is it time for bickering and cheap shots? Hell yes it is time for bickering and cheap shots. ]
Hand. Now. Unless you want me to take this opportunity to shut your fucking mouth.
no subject
Careful, Belmont. You wouldn't want me to bite you.
no subject
[ HE'S GOING TO TAKE IT AS CONFIRMATION THAT HE WAS RIGHT and he is going to laugh and laugh and laugh. ]
But shit, seriously? Does this mean that I have to be nice about it?
no subject
It certainly would not hurt.
no subject
[ He repeats, and this time it seems a little less funny. This is coming uncomfortably close to being Responsible For An (1) Emotion, which is Trevor's actual least favorite thing. ]
Look, if you want to wait for someone who isn't an asshole to show up for this, I've loitered in worse doorways than this.
no subject
No, Belmont. For better or worse, our fates are intertwined. I would prefer you above all others.
no subject
[ He just stares at Alucard for a while after that, contemplative. Because that was also dangerously close to One Whole Emotion. Eventually, he reaches out a hand. ]
Hand. [ Because he's not the kind of asshole who goes about taking people's first kisses if they're exactly the sort of dramatic idiot who probably thinks that kind of shit is important. Best for it to be something that can be written off as not really counting if needed. ]
no subject
time to murder a vampire.
If in doubt, just do the stupidest possible thing.
And so he kneels. As best he can in the confined space. And bows his head. ]
I, Trevor Christopher Belmont of the House of Belmont, do hereby swear my loyalty to you and your fucking stupid suicidal patricide cause.
[ Well it started off convincing, at least. He presses his lips softly against Alucard's knuckles. ]
he's taking you with him
"Christopher"?
[ alucard, you can't talk, your middle name is Fahrenheit. ]
wow rude
[ He doesn't get up just yet, and he doesn't let go of Alucard's hand, instead using his free one to feel at where the invisible walls were previously. Problem solved. Good. ]
At least it's not just my dad's name backwards.
