ACTION:
Steve has just about managed to acquaint himself with the strange, new idea that he is now in space when the next curve is thrown his way. One second he's standing in a hallway, just about to walk up and ask someone if they have any idea what he's doing here. The next, he's...on a bridge. With confetti? And are those pudding cups? What the Hell is going on? He blinks around, his first instinct to always look and see if there is some sort of fight about to happen. Hands are in fists and he really wishes his shield was somewhere around here. But he dropped that in the dirt a few months ago, so fat chance.

Steve will stand down slowly, once no one attacks him right off the bat. Sadly, he's been in this position before; in a strange place and time, not knowing why or how. His thoughts are back on Earth and with the friends he's broken out of their floating prison and now, seemingly, abandoned. Maybe there is a way out of here. Or, maybe, he's needed here more? Hopefully someone is going to be able to talk him through it all.

VIDEO:

Many hours later, Steve sends out a broadcast, finally understanding how and wanting to reach out to anyone else that might be here. Anyone else he might know.

"Uh. Hey. My name is Steve Rogers. Hopefully I'm doing this right and you can all see and hear me. I just arrived about..." He looks down at something and then scrubs a hand over his face as though in disbelief. "Two days ago. A lot got packed into those days, it seems. But I'm sure you all know how that feels."

Steve pauses, shifting a bit before getting closer to the camera, face serious. "I've met some people here so I know that what happened to me has happened to a lot of other good people. I have questions and a lot of things I want to look into. But first, I want to know who else is out there. Who else might have the same questions I do and who wants to start getting some answers."

He moves back and tries to smile. "Or who maybe just wants to talk? Anything. So, yeah. Thanks. How do I....um. Is it this butt-"

Video cuts off abruptly.

[Steve's eyes close, disheartened by that. He rubs over his face and looks down]

For now, maybe. But I refuse to accept that. What have you all attempted? Has anyone kept logs of it?

[ loki notes that quietly. ]

We have records. Attempts of the past along with others. But perhaps that is a discussion better saved for Thor and your . . . companions.

[Companions. That gets his head snapping up]

Who is here?

[ loki flicks them off his fingers. ]

The widow, the witch and the vacuum cleaner.

[ he has no idea who bucky is, so he doesn't get a mention. ]

Vacuum cleaner?

[So many of his friends got grabbed. Steve can't help but wonder if there isn't some sort of reason for it. Some reason the Avengers are getting picked up. But then again, there were other people he doesn't know here. So maybe not]

[ loki waves a flippant hand. ]

The robot.

[Wait....robot?]

Vision?

Yes. Him.

[ can you tell loki doesn't like him? though the anger has burned to an ember lately. vision had been kind to him as a child and recent events have made somethings . . . clearer. but loki still distrusts the power of the stone and will continue to do so. he knew it best after all. ]

[Yes. Steve is picking up on that. He puts that into a mental journal to ask Vision about later, if he finds him. Suddenly that doesn't seem as difficult as he'd previously believed. Not if he keeps making these videos to reach out and find people]

Okay. So Nat, Wanda, and Vision. And you and Thor. That's...a lot. But I guess it's good Tony is still at home making sure no one is trying to take over the Earth.

[If only Steve knew what was coming Earth's way...]

Are you and Thor on the same ship?

[ he shakes his head. ]

I am Captain of the First Breath. Thor is captain of the Blue Fish.

[Huh.]

You two aren't still at odds, are you? Not with everything going on, here?

[ loki chuckles at that, despite that. ]

No, Captain. We are quite assuredly not at odds.

[Huh! Well, that's good news! Steve has to smile at that]

At least there's something good to hear. Family is important. Especially in situations like this. Are you two not allowed to be on the same ship?

I do not know how much experience you have with siblings, Captain, but generally, sharing the same space for long periods of time does not invite harmony.

[ it tends to invite stepping on each other's toes and mucking up their personal space. ]

You didn't grow up in The Great Depression, pal

[The only experience he has with siblings though is Bucky, maybe. And even that is a complicated tale. Probably not the same at all. But he shrugs all the same]

What about Wanda and Nat? Are you guys alright?

[ loki blinks. ]

I'm quite sure I'm the last person to speak for them.

Thor hasn't brought you around for pizza night?

[Is pizza even a thing here? Loki should understand the spirit of the question.

Maybe.]

[ he boggles. ]

What is pizza?

[Alright. Nevermind.]

It's...food. Nevermind. I'll talk to Thor about maybe having us all get together and explaining it.

That sounds like a terrible idea.

Really? I would think that a 'terrible' idea in a strange, potentially dangerous place would be to spurn potential allies...

[Cue innocent Steve face]

[ loki is vaguely amused despite himself. ]

Astute as that is, I doubt they will be, ah, open to the idea.

[That opens up a whole lot of new questions. Steve prioritizes them but asks none]

You're doing alright with your brother and your brother is a friend and ally of ours. Bridges have been made with less.

[ loki's expression flickers, somber. ]

I . . . do not think it is a good idea. I am not much of an ally. To anyone.

Hey...

[Steve shifts closer to the screen, his face taking up a large portion of it now, complete with concerned eyebrows]

I fought you, remember? You can't sell me on the lie that you're useless.
