[Not much has changed on the Twin Roses since their stay on the Marsiva. No crew changes. No promotions or downgrades, although Vash is no longer co-captain, but rather first mate, in case anyone missed it and Krolia is still somewhat new among their ranks.

There aren’t even any stale donuts lying around which also means the plants in the garden and pets are thriving and their food stocks are still going strong. Yep, just totally normal stuff after being gone over a month! And probably no weird things to talk about after seeing each other’s memories. Business as usual here!

Also, there was the part where they attacked the Marsiva afterward for a hot minute. Just another normal day in the life of the fleet.]

[The poor mood definitely doesn't go unnoticed, but Makie isn't in the habit of prying, and calibrations by themselves could explain it. Still, she's watchful at their next French lesson, her tone even gentler than usual. Ironically, the attack on the Marsiva also put her out of sorts, but it's more a deep uneasiness and a feeling that it really wasn't a wise move. No outright temper.

I'm glad to see your cats seem to have survived our absence intact.

Hmm? [Honestly, Remy's trying not to pass it onto others, keeping his feelings on it all to himself. And he used to be so much better hiding his emotions, but as he had gotten closer to others, trusting them, he had let those walls down more and hid less of himself away.

And annoyed as he was, Remy could still manage a smile and warmer tone for Makie.] Yeah, it be. If we were in a place on a planet or something I wouldn't had been as worried, they from huntin' breeds after all, but stuck on this ship they wouldn't had much a chance.

Non, non, [He answered, letting his own tea cool a little as he distracted his hands by spinning a pen around in one of them, giving them something to do.] I got them on a planet 'while 'go now. The seller was just goin' to get rid of them 'nd... well, couldn't have that.

It seems some animals are universal. Dogs, I've seen out here, too.

[Remy's actually had a similar discussion with someone just recently in fact, but he still sighs as he shifts that pen so he could tap the end of it against the table.] It ain't just animals, with people 'nd objects as well. With how big the universe should be, we should be seein' a lot more differences than what we're seein' out there.
