Twin Roses Mingle (visitors welcome)
Who: Twin Roses’ crew, friends, and lookieloos
Broadcast: Unlikely
Action: Twin Roses
When: March 2019
[Not much has changed on the Twin Roses since their stay on the Marsiva. No crew changes. No promotions or downgrades, although Vash is no longer co-captain, but rather first mate, in case anyone missed it and Krolia is still somewhat new among their ranks.
There aren’t even any stale donuts lying around which also means the plants in the garden and pets are thriving and their food stocks are still going strong. Yep, just totally normal stuff after being gone over a month! And probably no weird things to talk about after seeing each other’s memories. Business as usual here!
Also, there was the part where they attacked the Marsiva afterward for a hot minute. Just another normal day in the life of the fleet.]

[upon arrival | ota]
Home sweet home-ish.
[ she goes straight to make a cup of coffee. it's been a long month ]
no subject
Kitty leans on the counter and nods toward the coffee maker.] Mind making enough for two?
It does kind of feel like home, doesn't it? You know, I didn't think of it at the time, but I had my third year anniversary of being here over there.
no subject
[ she makes sure the sugar substitute is nearby ]
Three years? Jesus. I'm not sure I'm in the home-home part of it, but it's something.
You doing okay?
no subject
I am. There's actually kind of something about them messing with our minds here that makes me appreciate how little they overtly mess with our minds here. [They could and probably are doing it in subtle ways constantly with the augments.] Not that I'm giving them praise mind you. I've just had worse. And most of the time this place doesn't feel like a constant act of survival.
What about you? How was your first calibrations?

Kitty Pryde | OTA
[In the days that follow their return you can find Kitty...everywhere. That first moment when you realize nothing was damaged in their time way it's great. In the moments that follow it's deeply unsettling. So she finds herself going from room to room checking and rechecking for anything that might give away that the ship noticed the passage of time. There's something about it that echos a little too strongly of her time in MarinaNova Asylum. Things were constantly reset to normal there. Made a lot of sense to when they found out it was all just a shared virtual reality. She's always wondered if this place was the same on a much larger scale. So, she might be looking through cabinets in the kitchen or checking behind storage crates in the cargo bay or examining the controls in the shuttles or even knocking on your door to see if she can look at your room too. She thought about just slipping in herself, but she didn't. Points for that?]
Aftermath
[As their drifting period extends she settles back into her more normal routine working in engineering and at the Iskaulit in the Malum. Reading books, training, and having a certain boy in a red jacket spend nights over at her place with the big bed which wasn't really a thing before calibrations. She was mostly spending nights in his room with the small bed. Her direwolf forever-pup roams the ship with her sometimes. It's kind of nice getting back to what passes for normal. And also, a lot of people saw a lot of stuff in her head and she in theirs and there is shit to talk about. Anyone want to point to an elephant in the room and talk about it?]
Vision's Receptionist
[Since Vision is otherwise occupied (if you know what we mean) he has routed his calls briefly to Kitty. She will no doubt handle it in the most professional way possible at all times. Please reach out and touch someone.]
Wildcard
[Whatever. Whenever. We're meant to be together.]
did someone say something about elephants
But he makes it over and he finds her, and hopefully they'll talk and it won't be awful.]
Kitty, hello.
The best things to point at and name!

The Vision - Action, OTA
After, he quickly inspects the ship and his Engineering segment. Everything seems to be all right, but he'll do an in-depth check a little later. For now, he disappears into his room and isn't to be seen or heard from for the next day. All calls to his communicator are redirected to Kitty during this timeframe - and, since he's asked several people to check in, it might be getting some significant traffic. Sorry, Captain.
Once that's taken care of, though, he's back, in a good mood, and found all over the place, inspecting everything from his plants to his fish to the general facilities and food stores. He'll strike up conversation with crew and visitors alike, if they approach him.]

Racing through the hallways to find out where and who had set off the Twin Roses' attack, he stand stunned in the doorway for a moment before barking out violently.] What the fuck do ya think ya doin'?! [Swearing in English was rare for Remy, even with their translators he had always seemed to get his use of French mix across, maybe because it was his normal speech pattern. But this? This was unusual, as was the heat in his voice, that bite behind it. Remy LeBeau very rarely got angry, despite everything he's gone through. Sorry Vision, just seems you're the target for it at this moment.]

Expressing my displeasure at being forced to relive my worst memories every night for the past month.

I though ya were suppose to be the smart one here! [And while he doesn't mean to, really doesn't, those raised tempers were having effects on Remy's mutation, loosening his hold he normally had on it as energy he held back started to show more, an extra glow to his eyes making them appear pure red. He had kept really quiet on them, not told anyone how he was battling with them. It was easier than making people worry, to let them know they were living with a bomb that might go off at any time. Remy had it under control, he used each planet they had to burn off as much energy as he could.
And worse case, he would just take himself out first before hurting anyone else on board. Better a small bang than a big one.]

Remy LeBeau | OTA
Or for the most he is. While Remy does try to get right back into his normal routine around the ship and also setting up the Space Bar for business again, he certainly is in a poor mood over the next week or so. It’s not due to what they had just been through, for all the drama their little dreams had, he can’t really remember them. So sorry if someone has had some sort of revelation thanks to him or emotional growth or fall back, he won’t remember it happening.
No, he’s angry over what had happened once they were back on their ships, the attack against the Marsiva. Give him time and he will go from being furious, to annoyed and pouty, to getting over it. While he does so he will be found about the ship, cooking in the kitchen for himself and others, training in the storage area, playing with his cats in his room and around the activity area, just trying to act like everything is normal and he’s not upset.]

I'm glad to see your cats seem to have survived our absence intact.

And annoyed as he was, Remy could still manage a smile and warmer tone for Makie.] Yeah, it be. If we were in a place on a planet or something I wouldn't had been as worried, they from huntin' breeds after all, but stuck on this ship they wouldn't had much a chance.

PRIVATE PARTY - Kitty / Vision / Wanda
She gives their door a knock and waits.
She's not sure what she's going to say. She wants to be honest in as few words as possible. It might be better to wait until they're at the next system, but it's hard to say when or what kind of place the next one will be or even if those places are more secure. The augments are always in their heads after all and if any part of the reality show premise is to be believed there's no way they aren't recording everything that happens in the various systems. Even this plan might not be safe, but some people took great pains to share information with her in as covert a way as they could and she wants to return the favor. But it means she needs Wanda to do it.]

Come in.
[It's a cozy room, as far as rooms on the Fleet go. Wanda's lived in some pretty bleak places so now that she has disposable income, comfort is a high priority. The first thing she'd done when the Fleet had stopped at a proper commerce hub was upgrade the bed.]
You wanted to talk to us?
no subject
He gestures to the other chair, made significantly more comfortable than the default thanks to some liberal applications of cushions from Libuscha IV.]
Please, feel free to sit down. What can we help you with, Captain?
[A reminder that he's ceding right of precedence to her, despite how present his own memories of being a captain have been lately.]

Makie | OTA-ish to all
...not that you'll see much of her. She's avoiding the common areas, though one can still find her visiting either the med lab or sneaking into the kitchen to get some tea. It's not you guys, it's her. Over the next couple months she'll probably get a little more sociable, but now she has a disease to treat and it sucks.]
