[There's a teenaged boy on the screen who looks a bit tired. Someone clearly hasn't been sleeping too well but he brushes it off easily enough. As if it's something he's used to. Those who might know the young Earl Phantomhive though, know that he's actually very used to it.]

Judging by what I arrived during, and what followed, it stands to reason that everyone has been understandably distracted.

Now seems like a suitable time though to properly introduce myself. I'm Ciel Phantomhive, current head of the Phantomhive Earldom. [A very brief pause.] I was, at least. I haven't held the title in a little over a year now. It wouldn't hardly matter here anyway, I'm sure.

Otherwise, it seems I am ow a cook on board the Vanquish. It's a very good thing Undertaker had been teaching me to cook.

[He tilts his head and glances over at the bed.]

No, that isn't your usual either. I have time. I don't mind helping you. They don't seem to expect a lot of me right now.

[sweetlies]

[It's not the bed they'd gone and bought, made sure was comfortable enough. None of their little touches are there. How could he sleep comfortably?]

I'd be glad if you just stayed awhile. It really does feel better.

[somakemelaugh]

[He hums. No argument in that from him. In fact, he separates himself from the Earl and steps over without a word to go turn down the sheets and rolls himself in against the wall, complete with shoes on and everything. He won't be leaving for a while now and may likely even nap himself, but he just doesn't care. One hand reaches up to curl fingers and invite Ciel over with him.]

Here then. I'll confess to a habit of it myself. We'll get a proper sleep out of this yet.

[sweetlies]

[For a second, he thinks Undertaker might leave, but then he's settling himself in the bed and getting comfortable and he can't help a little smile.]

How could I doubt you? [He hasn't steered the teen wrong yet. And kept him safe from his own nightmares. So he climbs into the bed and curls up beside him.] It's certainly warmer like this.

[somakemelaugh]

[He hasn't tried to, at least. In some ways. Once Ciel is curled up on the bed, he reaches down for the blanket and tosses it up over the boy to cover him head to toe.]

Isn't it? There you are. Now you're as warm as you can be. That ought to show the cold in this room what for, eh?

[sweetlies]

[From under the blanket, he laughs softly before squirming his way out a bit.]

I am. You and the blankets, it's cozy now. Still not the same but I have what's important. [And with that, he just curls up a little closer.]

[somakemelaugh]

[He knows it was childish and he just doesn't care. It got a giggle from the boy and that was all that mattered. One arm settles over Ciel's side to invite him to sink into slumber with him, everything in him going lax.]

If that's what matters, that's all you need. Let's have a rest now. We'll figure out what to do later.

[sweetlies]

[They're both a bit childish and that suits him just fine.]

Mm, that doesn't sound like too bad an idea.

[somakemelaugh]

[They can be adults later. Right now, he just wants to enjoy this moment, quiet time with the Earl before they both slip off into sleep.]

Mmhmm. [His eyes are already closed, voice softening. He's not close to sleep yet, but give him a little time longer and he will be.]

[sweetlies]

[Later sounds good to him. He's already drifting off, curled comfortably against the reaper. He heard that mumble, makes a little noise of his own to agree, but that's all before he slips into an easy dream.]
