[The blue-haired teen is in the kitchen of the Goldstone, a cup of tea steaming in front of him. His communicator is propped up so her can just relax and enjoy his tea. And a small plate of oddly shaped cookies.]

What do you all do when you arrive in a new world in the middle of a year? And yet you left at the end, just shy of your birthday?

[He nibbles at a cookie, sets it down, and takes a sip of tea.]

I arrived in Riverview in July but I left England just two weeks before my fourteenth birthday. So it was sensible to say I was fourteen. I was there a year, so... fifteen. It's been about six months here, would I almost be sixteen now?

[There's a soft sigh, toying with a cookie.] Interesting as all this is, it's a bother to think about it all. I'd be marrying in a year, if I were in England...

[He doesn't seem too concerned about that though and takes a deep breath, smiles, and gestures to the cookies.] There are biscuits here in the kitchen, if anyone on the Goldstone would like. I made too many.

I have a question to ask all of you, if I may--something that I have been thinking about.

[This thinking has nothing to do with the recent broadcast from the Interceptor Fleet. Nope. Not at all.]

What or where, to you, is home?

Is it a place? Is it people? Is it in the universe that you came from, or have you found a new home in your time away? If home is not here, would you return to it if you were granted the opportunity to do so?

What does home even mean?

I ask partially because I'm not certain of the answer for myself. I have thought of many different things as home: a country, a ship, a crew. There have been times, even, when I considered a single person home... but however I defined it, I was certain of it. I knew where it was, and I knew that it was where I belonged. That becomes difficult to maintain, you know, after several years in a place like this--the certainty of belonging, and the sense of home.

So I would like to know how you think of it. Maybe this question is too personal, but I hope that someone might humor me.

Hello everyone, Father Abel Nightroad reporting. How is everyone doing? Things have been quiet lately as I tend to study on the ship to pass my time. Being the ship's chef, I'm learning new recipes to cook, but otherwise it's lots of quiet days and nights.

Looks like we arrived at another star system, another planet to explore. Down here, it's quite different than the last one I explored and visited. If you're coming down here on this planet, be sure to find the tunnels once you land on the surface, because the city is actually underground! The city is beautiful and busy down here, and I'm getting around using the underground train. Pretty much a very developed city technological wise.

If you're in the city, I hope to meet you as a friend, I wouldn't mind company. Let's hang out! I'm also exploring the planet surface to keep track of nature and wildlife out here too. But take care if you plan to visit if you have allergies, but they do have medicine down here.

[Ciel is down on the planets surface, looking around curiously.]

This planet is... interesting. [Really, he's looking a little uncomfortable at the sight of the more rustic homes. He almost prefers being on the ship, although he'll constantly miss his little house he'd had before joining the fleet.]

I'm not sure I'll be down here often but I did hear that there is hunting. I used to hunt back in England with my aunt but it's been a couple years. I wouldn't mind seeing how I can match up against the 'monsters' here.

[Also, he could use the money. Boy doesn't like being broke.]

[There's a teenaged boy on the screen who looks a bit tired. Someone clearly hasn't been sleeping too well but he brushes it off easily enough. As if it's something he's used to. Those who might know the young Earl Phantomhive though, know that he's actually very used to it.]

Judging by what I arrived during, and what followed, it stands to reason that everyone has been understandably distracted.

Now seems like a suitable time though to properly introduce myself. I'm Ciel Phantomhive, current head of the Phantomhive Earldom. [A very brief pause.] I was, at least. I haven't held the title in a little over a year now. It wouldn't hardly matter here anyway, I'm sure.

Otherwise, it seems I am ow a cook on board the Vanquish. It's a very good thing Undertaker had been teaching me to cook.

[ The good thing of about being young and curious is that, despite being from before electronics, once she's figured out the communicator, Lizzie pretty much has it down. So, thankfully, no one gets stuck staring at an eyeball on the network today. Nope, it's just Lizzie in a drab uniform instead of her usual pink and frilly finery and yet still looking like sunshine glorified as usual. For a new arrival, she's in a strangely good mood. ]

I beg pardon that it took me this long to introduce myself! This place has simply been such a change... I do hope everyone can forgive my rudeness.

[ Right, right. composing herself like the lady she is. ]

Ah, of course, introducing myself isn't the only reason I'm doing this. You see...It seems I've found myself stuck wearing gentleman's trousers. It's quite unbecoming for a lady... I was hoping someone would be able to assist me in finding more proper clothing. These trousers aren't cute or ladylike at all... What would Ciel say if he saw this, oh my...

And oh, can you believe that we're truly in space? What a dream... If only I could walk among the stars with my darling fiance...

[Good morning, Fleet! There's a young teen with dark blue-black hair wandering the Marsiva today. He's wearing a slightly more modern twist on Victorian era clothes and his right eye is wrapped with a bandage but it doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.

What does bother him though is to wake up somewhere entirely new with little knowledge in regards. At least, little compared to what he'd prefer. Going through this once when he arrived in Riverview Quarantine had been exhausting enough, but at least the experience had left him more adjusted to the level of technology here. It's not like his little house or the phones they had given the residents of the Quarantine, but it was all manageable at the very least.

For now, he hopes to see something, someone, familiar. Either that, or he hopes to find a decent cup of tea and company that isn't entirely bothersome. And as he wanders, seeing no one familiar, he settles on the hope for tea. As long as it was strong. And maybe something sweet.]
