[aspearing]

[ The inside of Alisha's room is a large, finely decorated library. Each book has been placed on the shelf and treated with utmost care. In the middle of the room is a table – one with various books on ruins, history, and fighting piled on top of it. The room itself is finely decorated – intricate details used on the many bookshelves and furniture. To Alisha, the room was near identical to the one in her home back in her own world.

Settled against one of the walls is a spear, while armor is set next to it. On the table itself is a book titled The History of Ladylake, while an older, rather worn looking book is set next to it.

Alisha herself can be found sitting on one of the chairs, engrossed in one of those books. When she hears someone enter the room, she'll look up from the book, looking towards the door. She offers a small smile. Despite her reading just a moment ago, she doesn't particularly mind the company. ]

Good afternoon.

[Kaname's relieved to see her friend, and it shows in her return smile.]

Is it afternoon, then? [Since who even knows anymore. Taking a seat, her eyes scan the book on the table, settling on the history book. Alisha's mentioned Ladylake before, so she reaches out in curiosity.]

[aspearing]

[ When Kaname touches the book, the world around them seems to change in the blink of an eye - those both of them now in a rather crowded city. People seem to be rather excited about what to come, albeit some look apprehensive.

Alisha offers Kaname a smile, hands folded in front of her.]

Welcome to Ladylake. Are you here to see the Ceremony of the Sword?

Oh my. [The words escape her upon seeing the scenery. Kaname's seen a lot both in the fleet and back home, but there's something about this place that takes her breath away.]

It's gorgeous... [Only then does she realize what Alisha asks her. She pauses, then nods.]

Yes, I am. I'll admit I'm not entirely knowledgeable about its history, though. I hope that's all right.

[aspearing]

[ Her expression softens at that. ] Thank you.

It's perfectly alright. We're throwing this festival in hope to bring the citizen's spirits up.

[axi]

I'm sure it'll do the trick. This looks lovely, Alisha. [She can't help but smile.] Are you able to show me around?

[monolike]

[Hhhhhhhlibrary.

While Sorey is intensely curious to see if Alisha's memorized all of these books (in their own written language!!!! it's been so long!!!!!!!), Sorey's still not curious enough to forget his manners. So instead he returns her smile with one of his own, looking but not touching.]

I don't think I got to see this library. This one is so huge...! Is it in the castle, or your house?

[aspearing]

Sorey! Welcome. [ Alisha lights up near immediately upon seeing her friend, closing her book. ] This is my home. I'm glad that you have a chance to see it.

[monolike]

I saw a little bit of your home before... [Fiddles with a couple of the books on the shelf, pulling them down to glance over the titles. Some of them are comprehensive and then others, the books have bits missing, or faded pages with jumbled words. Alisha's memory, maybe.] It's so strange, we came to visit you a bunch of times but never really stayed over. Everything felt so busy.

[aspearing]

That's very true. The both of us had important matters to attend to. [ She knows that this isn't the same as Sorey visiting her home, but she's happy to see him here nonetheless. ]
