Who: Undertaker and ERRYONE
Broadcast: All
Action: Goldstone
When: After calibrations/shuffle
[Welcome to the parlor. Or at least, it would be the parlor if it was back in his home. Either of the ones before. For now, it's just Undertaker's modest little abode on the good ship Goldstone, not too unlike many of yours who stand witness to it now. Maybe he'll add to it over time. He has heard audiences like to get to know people, and what better way to do so than to personalize?]
[Alas. Without much means to add such customizations (yet) you get only to see his smiling face, complete with the scar crossing right over it. How's that for unique?]
We're a lively bunch here, aren't we? Starting things off with a bang, visiting people in their past lives with or without them knowing. Just like the good old days, back in the academy. [There's a giggle, one which might or might not put a shudder down spines. He's an... unusual git and he knows it, complete with the mortician's facade and, some might recognize, the overly cockney accent.]
Ah, we're going to get along just fine, I think. Too bad they've not made use of the smarts I was given, [He flicks a hand.] lab support or something other, bandages I suppose. Wouldn't be much use to me anyway, but you'll find me on the Goldstone, should you have need of my assistance. Look for Undertaker.
[And, with a tip of his hat, the video feed ends.]

I understand and it will be easy for me to stick to those rules. Thank you for letting me into your space.
I think a number would be worse so I will stick to your title. I've not known a mortician who only goes by their title before.

How are you settling into the Fleet?

[Not that he minded. The solitude left him time and space to do what he needed.] Well enough. It's not the first time I've been pulled to another world, though they could have taught me about its ways better than this. [He lifts a hand to rub at the spot behind his ear where the implant had been put in. It didn't hurt, but it was there and that bothered him.] I don't suppose they'll remove this, will they?

Even if someone does find a way out of here, what's to say they just haven't removed the memory already.
It would be nice if there was an actual surgeon on board. Someone who didn't need to rely on the chip. We'd also need an x-ray machine. Find out what we could about how they're attached.

It's a physical object. Might not be a place you'd touch often, so even if the memory of it being there, or even of this place at all was removed, it's not impossible that one might still find it. I'm not fond of the thing myself, but do I want it changing what I know without my say, even to my benefit? I'll see what I can do about gathering what you mentioned for the lab.

I have been told that when we are returned to our worlds, we are returned with no time missing and no memory of this place. So its probably possible that there hasn't been anyone who has thought to look for it. If they can't remember to do so? and no one else knows you've been missing so why would they look?
Sorry, this got on a bit of a tangent.

But, ah, how should they know to tell you that you won't be missing anything when you return? With these little things still here, what if I were to return home and reach up and feel that? I come from a time where something like asthma can kill a person. Leaving a mark like that... [He shakes his head.] That would be obvious after a while.

Perhaps, it depends on how observant you are? or the people around you. [Tim likes to believe he would notice a new scar on himself but he is covered in scars. There is a possibility that something that is already healed would pass his notice as something he simply forgot how it came about. Especially to do with the skull; concussions, after all, could explain away memory loss]
In my own world, one more scar might not be that prominent. We will only know for certain if we get home and do notice them.

[He would believe he knows his own body well enough to know what is strange and isn't, given he hasn't changed physically in any way over the last several centuries, save a very specific set of scars all over him with which he is well acquainted. One of the perks of being dead already.] I may notice it, I suppose. It isn't a place I reach up to play at often under all of this hair, but washing it is a chore enough. I've become quite familiar with that place on my own body. The question then is whether or not we come to understand this little thing well enough to risk removing it from me.
[Yes, he'll volunteer for that attempt if it comes down to it. He isn't sure if it will even work, but if he has one, he knows Ciel has one as well, and he'll not put the boy at risk.]

There are records of most communications broadcast through the devices but that is hours upon hours to go through. I haven't really gotten that far I'm afraid.

Sounds daunting. I don't think I'll have that kind of time for a while yet, but I'll do what I can and see if I can find this Vash fellow. Many thanks for your help in that.
