[Welcome to the parlor. Or at least, it would be the parlor if it was back in his home. Either of the ones before. For now, it's just Undertaker's modest little abode on the good ship Goldstone, not too unlike many of yours who stand witness to it now. Maybe he'll add to it over time. He has heard audiences like to get to know people, and what better way to do so than to personalize?]

[Alas. Without much means to add such customizations (yet) you get only to see his smiling face, complete with the scar crossing right over it. How's that for unique?]

We're a lively bunch here, aren't we? Starting things off with a bang, visiting people in their past lives with or without them knowing. Just like the good old days, back in the academy. [There's a giggle, one which might or might not put a shudder down spines. He's an... unusual git and he knows it, complete with the mortician's facade and, some might recognize, the overly cockney accent.]

Ah, we're going to get along just fine, I think. Too bad they've not made use of the smarts I was given, [He flicks a hand.] lab support or something other, bandages I suppose. Wouldn't be much use to me anyway, but you'll find me on the Goldstone, should you have need of my assistance. Look for Undertaker.

[He'd heard that story before and believed it then about as much as he does now. But that yawn isn't lost on him. He lifts a hand to brush some of that mess of hair back.]

Before that, it sounds like someone may need rest, hm?

[Ciel starts to droop a little against him but shakes his head.]

I'm alright. S'just been a long day. A lot to take in.

[He hears what's said but he also feels the weight against him and knows well from experience just what that means.]

I'm sure it has. It's been a long day for me as well. It always is, what with these new places and adjustments and such. [He isn't helping, cradling the boy close to him, coaxing him to sleep.] Shall I turn down the blanket for you?

[sweetlies]

Mm... no. [Stubborn boy, who doesn't make any effort to move off of Undertaker. He's content to stay curled up like that. He doesn't want to make Undertaker uncomfortable though.

Hmm...]

Maybe a little sleep...

[Stubborn boy, who he is more than used to by now. Rather than argue with the Earl, he shifts to hold him close and tilts them to lower them down to the bedding and coax Ciel to sleep that way. No blankets turned down or anything.]

There we are. Sleep as you will.

[sweetlies]

[Mumble mumble...

He snuggles a little closer to Undertaker and how warm he is. He's very stubborn, he'll curl into Undertaker's warmth but deny the blankets. At least until he's fallen asleep, holding onto him.]

You... too...

[The blankets can stay as they are for now. He doesn't want to move the boy again and draw him away from sleep. It's been a long enough day for both of them that he's not willing to risk it. Instead, he lets Ciel settle in as he will and get comfy and drift off to sleep.]

Just like old times.

[There's a little hum and a mumble of agreement but he's already well, and truly, on his way to sleeping. With no signs of actually waking up and changing his mind. He just glad to have Undertaker and the warmth and comfort he provides.]
