[Kaname stands there and peers inside. Considering the small size of the cabin, the bathroom's pretty spacious. And a nice tub-shower combination.]

My turn. [Now she opens the remaining door to reveal the bedroom. Like the rest, it's cozy but certainly workable. There's a queen sized bed with space on either side as well as a window with a nice view.]

Guess this is my room. You get the couch? [Grin.]

[Ah-hah! Bedroom.

He chucks his things on the bed.]

Nah! There's plenty of room. Who're you going to cuddle when you get cold?

[Following him in, she sets her stuff on a chair near the bed with a grin.]

I can't really argue that point, can I? [Not that she seriously would.]

Let's explore the area outside. Might be good to know what's around.

He glances out the window above the bed.]

Trees.

[But he goes with her through and out the cabin, where the forest surrounds them on all sides. There's a burbling sound somewhere out there, indicating a brook or stream somewhere nearby.]

[Once they're off the porch, Kaname turns to look around, smile growing.]

It's lovely out here. What do you say for a quick hike around after... brunch? And unpacking.[It is mid-morning and she didn't have breakfast before they'd left.]

[He often skips breakfast - or settles for something small and light - and today was no exception. He nods.]

Sure thing. I could go for some food about now. I heard there's a trail somewhere around here. We could check that out.

It'd be better if we ate first anyway. We'll need some energy for our trek!

[And she nods, too.] Good. Just don't run off to take pictures of wildlife, okay? I don't want to fight anything this time.

[Ha. Never gonna live that down.]

[Though he does pout a little.]

What if it's something small and harmless? How about then?

[He starts backing toward the door and food.]

[Kaname's already following him, almost ready to pass if he doesn't move faster.]

I still don't want to fight it. Besides, that would mean leaving me by myself. In the woods.

[He stops at the door, arms bracing on either side of the frame, and leans forward just a little.]

I would never leave you behind.

[He pushes back and skips backward into the house with a grin.]

But I am sad you won't beat up little bunnies with me.

The little bunnies don't deserve that!

[She's laughing, following him on to the porch, but stops at the door. Her hand reaches out to him.]

They do if they're trying to kill you!

[Don't let the fluffy tails fool you, Kaname!

He stops for her, even moves her direction.]

[She takes his hand, then yanks him forward to enter the house first with a laugh.]

I'm gonna claim my side of the best first at this rate!

[Race him back to the bedroom?]

[He stumbles forward, and whirls around as she races past.]

What happened to sandwiches?

[He takes off after her, but the cabin is too small with a kitchen counter here and a couch there. Once he's caught her up, he catches her around the waist and hurtles them both onto the bed.]

We can ea-- !! [Her answer is cut off with a yell and a laugh as they're launched on to the very comfortable landing area. Sprawled on her back now, Kaname glances over at him with a grin, still laughing.]

I guess we can just take this arrangement as our answer, huh?

[She turns on her side to face him.]

Sandwiches can be eaten as we explore. How's that sound?
