Kitty Pryde | OTA
[Kitty isn't interested in hunting or bothering anything that doesn't bother her first. But she is looking out on a whole lot of wilderness that feel very refreshing after spending so long cooped up on the Marsiva and in spaceships in general. So, you might find her deep in the woods just walking or sitting beside a body of water looking thoughtful or walking over it as if it was as solid as rock. (Don't try that on your own.) She's also partial to mountain climbing and regular old tree climbing. She might ruffle some leaves to let you know something is there.]
Cave Scare
[So there you are exploring this creepy natural cave. You keep hearing sounds and you've heard the tales of what are out there, but it's probably not a big deal, right? And then the next thing you know a girl pops out of the wall in front of you—yes, straight through the wall with a flashlight under her chin.] BOO!
Questionable Museum
[Everyone was talking about the lodge and the connected museum and she is into that kind of thing, so she had to check it out. The questionable taxidermy is...extra questionable. She is making a face at a small mammal thing that is making a face at her.] Careful, your face will freeze like that.]
Shopping
[Kitty is looking for things in general that would be good for her ship, but also some more personal items for a certain Vash-shaped person who may or may not be Vash. She's asking around for various artisans and makers to do some custom work. But also looking over anything useful or odd.]
Iskaulit
[Or she could just be serving you a drink at Malum or training in the gym or getting a book in the library.]
Wildcard!
[Anything anywhere on the planet or the Iskaulit or Twin Roses or maybe it's even a network thing. Live large!]

[So during his downtime, he'll be found here, wandering the paths and exploring the nature of this strange new planet, enjoying the greenery this place has to offer. At least, for the time being. And who should he come across but a familiar face? He nods politely as he approaches.]

lup | ota
[Lup's immediate thought, upon hearing about this place, is that oooh, this is a planet she can have fun with. And what better way to do it than to give that twitchy lich soul of hers another chance to let loose? It's... therapy. Very responsible and uplifting therapy. She needs a good laugh either way, and a chance to use some of that stagnating arcane energy. Thus, Lup ventures out into the wild to become a new cryptid!
While hunting for monsters in the woods, folks might find themselves suddenly crossing paths with a red-robed, skeletal creature: soaring through the fog and releasing a haunting howl into the air, or grinning from the shadows at clueless passersby with glowing red eyes, or sending a series of floating balls of glowing white firelight to spin around them or guide them down strange new paths. Those who meet her might suddenly find themselves hallucinating strange places, or surrounded by wild animals, or lost in an illusory labyrinth...
...and you might suddenly find her leaning over your shoulder, a communicator held in one skeletal hand, a spooky, ghostly voice in your ear,]
Say cheese, my dude.
[Who doesn't want to take a selfie with an undead monster, eh!? She needs a few more pics for her scream collection.]
( b. the lodge; telling quasi-tall tales )
[Once the seeds are planted, she's hitting the hunter haunts to spread those rumours. Lup can be found at the lodge loudly proclaiming her "discovery" of a new monster in the woods, or encouraging stories from those she knows she encountered, trying to get the tale to spread to everyone she meets, sending hunters on what may or may not be wild goose chases- or giving herself some fodder to play with when she goes back out again.
If she ends up convincing Kravitz to join her in his reaper form at some point during those haunting excursions, the tale she spreads promptly evolves into two flying, robed skeletons. Double the fun, double the trouble!]
I'm thinking, the Undying Fire and Shadow? Or- ooh, the Deadly Chessmasters! Red Queen and Black King, am I right?
[The names probably could use some work, but she's here to have fun, so as long as the rumours spread, it's all good.]
( c. underground / aqueducts; good ol' fashioned dungeon crawl )
[What's the point in reaching a new place if you're not going to explore it? So when she isn't trying to establish her own monster legacy, Lup is trying to rope people into exploring some of the weird underground areas, hoping to come across something interesting. It's... sort of like a dungeon, right?
Either way, someone come with her to make sure she doesn't die or whatever.]
( d. wildcard )
[HIT MEEEEE]
a;; why are the twins like this?? ;;
Or so he thought.
It started harmlessly enough, right? Following what looked like fireflies down a path he hadn't noticed before. He's been comfortable enough with the woods for years, listening for the stray sounds of walkers shambling through the trees, so he'd hear something bigger than a rabbit making all kinds of noises. Right?
Right???
Then the glimpses out of the corner of his eye started- whisps of crimson darting through the trees, silent except for the sound of fabric rustling. He pulled his gun out, just to be ready, though the safety was still on; it would at least be easier to get to this way. The tension started to amp up, his heart hammering against his chest before he heard that spine-chilling howl. That's when he started running in what he thought was the right direction.
His gun pointed forward, he glanced occasionally over his shoulder, only to catch the tail-end of that crimson form darting through the trees on his good side. Then as quickly as it had happened? It stopped. Everything was quiet as he slowed to a stop, panting to catch his breath.
Say cheese, my dude.
Yeah, he can't help it. He screams, dropping his gun in his hurry to turn around and stumbles backward, falling on his ass. ]

The Vision - OTA
[The Vision has caught a little bit of the fever from the locals, or perhaps he's just sating his own curiosity about these things. Are they real? Are they some kind of psychic phenomenon, like the mists from one of the previous planets? Are they an elaborate hoax and if so who's in charge? Why are some of them so similar to Earth traditions?
Answer any of these questions, even with your own research, and he'll buy you a drink. The life of a folklorist isn't so bad.]
Shopping
[Because restocking the ship is always a priority. He's looking for the usual culprits - fresh food, nonperishable food, potted plants that can grow on a ship, fun and interesting souvenirs to remember this place by, and (a new one for him) creature comforts, now that he's sharing a room with someone instead of just using his room to store his things. But is that antler bottle opener really from a horned hopper? Or is someone trying to overcharge him? Also, do they even need a bottle opener on a spaceship?]
In the Field
[No research is complete without a little fieldwork. Whether it's flying above the open areas or trekking through the woods in absolute silence, the Vision is on the trail of one or more of the elusive cryptids. And is that him speaking into his communicator, narrating what he's doing? What's he up to? Will he interrupt your own hunt for a cryptid?]

Prompto | OTA + Kaname
[He has a feeling photos of one of the rumored creatures will sell better here than any of his pictures from other planets. He is successful in offloading a few, anyway. But he's running short on cash, and that's not going to cut it.
So here he is, out in the wilderness, eyes peeled for some big, hairy man-ape. He's not nervous. Not at all.]
[ Lodge ]
[And until the photography pays off, he's taken up a little side-gig, working the front desk of one of the lodges. Best part, he gets to meet people!]
What can I do for you?
[ Closed to Kaname ]
[The cabin he finds is far enough from any civilization to feel secluded, but close enough that an emergency run to town isn't unthinkable. (He's heard the rumors, and he does not want to come face-to-face with something weird or creepy. Face-to-camera ... maybe.)
It small and cozy, with a little bench swing on the front porch. One bedroom, but it's just him and Kaname here. There's a fully stocked kitchen, and he brought along some easy to prepare meals. And flowers. And chocolate. And a fancier dessert. It's a special occassion, after all.]
uhhh 3 i guess
Now, a few days later, the pair arrives with luggage in hand. Kaname can't help but smile at the sight of it. Up the steps of the porch, through the front door, and into the entryway-living room. She sets her things down out of the way and waits for Prompto to do the same before going and wrapping her arms around his neck with a laugh.]
This is perfect.

Ben Douglass | ota
[without any tech to look into, really, that leaves only one option for Ben, and in a sense it's doing something he's good at - tracking down shit. Only this time it's tracking down things that go bump in the night, which - okay, maybe it isn't the same but dammit he's going to think it is anyway. And while normally he doesn't have any interest in this folklore nonsense outside of the historical parts . . . look, he's bored. He does things when he's bored and his routines are thrown out of whack again.
So, he finds the place with all the hunters and decides to question them about what they know. It's a lot of jack, probably, but hey - they're fun to talk to, and any tips he can pick up on top of the "magic sticks" he got will help.
So you can find him here when he isn't out hunting, talking people up and eyeing the weird shit in the museum]
The Woods (hunting);
[so okay, he has the magic sticks, he has a weapon - cuz look, he isn't dumb - and now he's out here doing some weird mix of actual hunting and cryptid hunting. It's safe to say it's going about as well as you'd think . . . maybe a little better, he isn't completely hopeless.
If you happen into the same area he's lurking around in, you might here him talking to himself; going over the stuff he's been told, cursing when he hears something in the distance, or cursing at himself, for deciding to do this in the first place.
Just assume it's a lot of cursing]
F this (fishing);
[at one point or another, Ben gets fed up. Multiple times, actually, and when this happens he ends up going to find something to do that'll calm him down, and fishing is pretty great for that. He doesn't bother going out on a boat or anything, but you will find him sat on the bank of a stream or lake relaxing with a pole in hand. His dog Gent is always nearby, too, playing around in the grass or scaring the fish away and helping Ben "relax". Really]

Undertaker | OTA
[It isn't the mysterious depths of space and it isn't the hard, metal insides of the ships he has been on for nearly a month now by his reckoning, but it is new, and it is organic, and if nothing else, it's a solid reminder of a home he may not be able to return to now. Really though, he's enjoying the sounds and the smells of something wooden and alive again. Even the feel of the bark under his fingers is a welcome change from the cleaners and white of his lab.]
[Those looking around on the paths and trails through the trees might find Undertaker wandering about here, taking in a peaceful moment to himself.]
Stonework City
[Oh, how could he pass this up? This is as close to London as he has seen in better than a year. Though it's not London at all, he can't help a bit of nostalgia and maybe even longing for the place. It doesn't smell right and it never will look right, but it refreshingly isn't home even if it seems close to it. He hasn't much want to linger here long, but Undertaker will be walking the streets, taking in the sights and experiences of the city at his leisure.]
Hunting!
[While deprived of his death scythe, Undertaker has nonetheless taken his time to gain some employment (and enjoyment!) from hunting some of the smaller and medium-sized game creatures here and about for pelts and meat. His teleportation comes in handy here, as he's a miserable shot with a firearm due to his crippled vision, but traps are another thing entirely, and he's very, very good with them. Still, he has managed to purchase a small gun and a hunting knife to help him make a quick end of the creatures and then, of course, the part after. He's never been afraid to get his hands dirty after all, and having been a mortician in a past life, this is all too easy.]
Stonework City
But? At least that means it's easy to resupply. Taako has a shitload of money from his last payday and he's going to be putting it to good use. The hunters and trappers here have a lot of gear and spare meat to sell, so that's exactly what Taako is buying. That and information. As the Undertaker passes a shop, he'll hear a familiar voice ring out the open door as the elf bustles his way out. He has two cloth bags hung over his shoulders, stuffed with herbs and wrapped packages in string. And a third is floating behind him, held by a ghostly blue hand.]
Yeah, thanks for the tip! Happy not getting eaten by whatever the fuck it is that's in the forest to you too!

Kirk | OTA
[ Strange new creatures. Mysteries. This was the sort of thing he lived for on the Enterprise - discovery, exploration, just a little bit of danger. He knows most of his crew wished there was less of that part, but he honestly didn't go looking for it. He couldn't help it if that kind of thing found them in the middle of unknown space.
He was glad he had found his HUD on the last planet. It made moving around stifling, but in the dark it was more than helpful. Hell, he probably looked a bit like some of the creatures the locals spoke about, though he didn't carry a gun (well, he did, but it was set to stun) - he was more interested in photos and data. To see what else was out there.
During the day, at least, he looked more human, strolling through the woods - running sometimes, even. He does enjoy a good bit of outdoors fun and challenging himself physically. It was a nice switch up from the gym and the stars. Sorry if he bumps into you on the trail, but there's a lot of brush out here, you know? ]
Shopping / Eating
[ Any place they can get a few new items is a place worth visiting. He ignores the weapons, except for picking up a knife - which you can catch him buying, testing the balance as if he knew what to really look for. Fenris had taught him a few things, after all, though he was far from proficient.
He went by some of the clothing, looking for durable shirts and some new boots to work with. In some cases he picks up some food for the tourist - things that will keep, and a few fresh items while they were there. Might as well enjoy the local delicacies right? Of course, they're best prepared by the locals themselves. He just... won't ask what's on the plate. ]
Iskaulit
[ Even after all this time and so many planets, Kirk always finds himself returning to the comfort of the ships. And they are a comfort, in a way. But then, you spend the last near decade of your life on a ship, and that would be your norm, wasn't it?
But what can he say? He likes the drinks there better than on the planet - they're probably safer too - and he has a liking for the food there more as well (totally not biased for certain reasons). There's the obstacle course too, and the pool. For the times when he doesn't want to risk swimming in cryptid pee. ]
Wildcard
[ Anything or anytime on the planet, Iskaulit, or Tourist ]
Going Bump
And then sometimes you end up bumping into acquaintances, like one Captain Kirk bumbling about in the woods.
Lyall trots out of the bushes, making sure to both make some noise and be visible. Being actually shot wouldn't stop him for long but it's uncomfortable.]

He scouts the various locations around the town, visiting the lodge and the museum, chatting up with a few of the locals. He tries out a few drinks at a local bar too, and seems particularly interested in public venues that might be available for renting. The shops don't have much that interest him, and while he's not interested in any of the weaponry, he does still check out what's on offer, especially since he's planning on heading out there eventually to explore. ]

Steve Rogers (AU) | OTA
[ He's not actually planning on hunting anything that goes bump, but Steve is curious about them anyway. It's been a long time since he worried about anything but getting away from his former employers, and before that, there wasn't really much of a call for curiosity. And before that, well. It's been a long time.
So you can find him wandering the woods, keeping an eye out for signs and portents that something not-exactly-human passed through, but mostly just admiring the great outdoors because it's there. Because he can. He does end up at the Lodge, mostly to listen to professional hunter stories and see the museum. And hope the animals were actually dead before being stuffed. ]
Town;
[ He doesn't spend a lot of time around civilized people. The townsfolk seem happy with their visitors, but maybe Steve is too paranoid for his own good, so keeping interaction with them to a minimum seems logical. He does shop for a couple of things, like a decent knife (nothing overtly military, but good to have in a pinch) and a set of simple clothing, for when he needs a change from the uniforms on board ship.
Pitching in, if a local needs something repaired, is also a possibility, but for the most part, he'll just be wandering through town and chatting with anyone brave enough to ignore the perma-scowl on his face. ]
Iskaulit;
[ This seems like a good time to explore the ship with all the distractions on it, which means Steve will find himself on board at some point. Maybe even several times. He'll check out the restaurants and bars and the library to see what kind of book stock they have. And he'll visit the mural, partially to see who has come before him, and partially just to enjoy the artistic sensibilities. ]
Wildcard;
[ Have an idea for meeting on the planet or aboard ship? Toss it here. ]
Iskaulit
He does half expect Bucky Barnes to show up here at some point, after what he'd shown the man in his Calibrations room. He doesn't expect someone with a posture like Bucky's but a build like Steve's to approach, and he concludes this must be someone else entirely.
He shifts his supplies over to one hand and raises the other in greeting as he approaches.]

Victor Frankenstein | OTA
[Truthfully, Victor would've been happy with anything this new world gave them, as long as he and James could get married. But when he learns about the creatures on the planet, he realizes that this is most perfect place. A world of monsters? It's almost like being back home.
He is going to check them out. Not hunt them, of course, but observe. He's armed with notebooks, both for sketching and actual note-taking. On his own he knows enough to keep his distance, but if he has some backup he may try to get closer]
2. Undersewers
[What he's heard of this place reminds him of some of the areas explored back in Riverview. And with that in mind, he brings some string along to mark his path so he doesn't get lost while he's looking around. He carries a bag with him to take samples that he can study back on the ship at his leisure]

daryl dixon ][ the walking dead ][ ota
I.
So the likeliest place you'll find him? Is hunting.
Heading down the road out of town with a backpack of gear and rations, a quiver of bolts, and a large crossbow (painted black, but the garish red and purple show through on the edges) over his shoulder. He's just looking to get far enough from civilization to veer off into the woods. . . Or maybe he's on his way back, a brace of space!squirrels or a local-equivalent- to-deer slung over his back?
You might catch him among the trees, too, if you're quiet and stealthy. He moves like he's been doing this his whole life, tracking animals large and small.
Maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of something strange moving through the trees together.
Maybe you had the bad luck to scare away something he was about to shoot, and he turns on you with an extra strength scowl.
II.
But not every night is spent in a ratty makeshift lean-to in the woods. (No matter how much he kind of likes doing that. Don't judge him.)
You've got a good chance of catching him at the Gossiping Pines, where he is definitely not gossiping. He is, generally, drinking and listening a lot. The stories of strange creatures interest him more than you might guess.
If you're lucky, if you ply him with drinks, maybe he'll tell you about the chupacabra.
[ ooc; existing CR will have a better chance of convincing him to tell the chupacabra story, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW. ]
II
She approaches the lonely hunter who is trying to appear aloof and smiles as she whips out a pad to take his order.
"Would you like something greasy and half dead to go with your drinks, sir?"

Spock | OTA
The rumors have been fascinating. It's not the first time Spock has heard of some of these urban legends; he's fairly certain Leonard or some other member of the crew has discussed 'bigfoot', just not as seriously as the townfolk. Spock spends a great deal of time bothering the people running the museum. He wants to see all of the 'evidence' and records of where/how it was collected. Three hours later Spock is fairly certain they make up a time restriction on his ticket and throw him out. But he's gotten a notebook full of data that he's pouring over at a nearby café.
The closest record appears to be that of fur collected from strange, demonic looking creature that bothers herds. Spock sips at his tea and considers how much he believes these stories.
And whether he wants to go see for himself what the truth may be.
[Something Blue?]
Spock's not good at this. He's not been good at it most of his life and having a perceived multi-year gap from his best friend isn't making this any easier. What did one buy as a wedding gift, after all? Spock looks over a musket and can only imagine what that could lead to. He looks over knives and hunting traps and none of it is appropriate for a wedding. None of it is appropriate for Jim.
He exhales slow and moves to the next area, hoping something will jump out. Or, better yet, he'll stumble upon someone who can assist him.
[Brrr...]
Vulcans don't like the cold. Spock had trouble enough with the ambient temperature of his ship, let alone the chilling nighttime temperature of this planet. He'd purchased a coat with the small amount of credits he'd gotten (making Jim Kirks cry is apparently popular viewing) and had been comfortable enough with it while he was heading up the mountain. But now that the sun is setting and he's gotten high enough that the air is thinning, Spock is starting to shiver. And that means heading back down to town.
Except...
Spock turns and retraces his step up until he hits a tree that should have had a tie on it. He'd done that specifically so he'd know the way back. And now it was gone.
Spock frowns and looks at the foreign, identical looking trees that now are looking all the more similar in low-light. He can figure this out, though. Town is clearly to the left. Or...right and then left. Or...
Where was a tricorder when you needed one?
[Wildcard]
Go wild with the Vulcan!
Brrr...
She did, however, stay out later than she necessarily meant to. She's not exactly worried about traversing an unfamiliar forest at dusk, but it might have been savvier not to put herself in that position. Still, the sky was pretty colors and she'd been enjoying it. What can you do?
She's heading back now, but she hears someone ahead.]
Coming through. I'm not a thing to hunt, so if you have a gun, keep it to yourself.

Lance | OTA
[So, Lance still can't bring himself to do any actual real hunting of animals. Even if they're not exactly like the ones on Earth, they're close enough, and he just can't pull the trigger on Bambi's mom. Even if he is a sharpshooter, and theoretically he should be good at it.
So, instead? He's going to go on a different kind of hunting. Cryptid hunting, armed with not a gun but a notepad and camera. Alright, maybe he's still armed with his bayard, but that's for self defense.
You can find him out and about from caves to fields to forests, following rumors and tips to potential spots. Feel free to join him!
[B - Fishing]
[Though he's only done it a few times, Lance has decided that he's going to spend a day or two out by the lakeside trying to catch fish. It's pretty clear that he barely knows what he's doing, but he still looks hopeful. For half the day, at least, before he just looks dejected after not catching anything yet. Look, he wants to surprise someone with a nice homecooked fish dish, okay? Is it so much for a guy to ask to get one or two good sized fishies?]
[C - Farmwork]
[Much as he likes some good ol' R&R, finally reaching a system again means it's time to massively stock up on things. And that takes money. It'd be nice to hunt fresh meat and stuff himself, but. Yeah. Can't bring himself to do that. So instead, he'll just have to do some work to make money to buy it and plenty of other things.
After checking out what jobs are available, Lance settles on helping out on a farm. The work comes as second nature to him--after all, his family had owned a small one back on Earth. It's nostalgic. And that, he takes some comfort in. Feel free to see him tending crops or taking care of various farm animals.]

Dorian Pavus || OTA
[ The buzz of the planet seems to be located heavily in the woodlands with talks of absurdities and crypto-zoological entities of all manner of shape and tale. Dorian is naturally drawn there at first in fascination of identifying some of these creatures, but that fascination turns into something a bit more macabre. A gifted mage does need to stretch his limbs, so to speak. It had been months since he'd been able to use his abilities to their full potential- and his perfected craft tended to make people uncomfortable. What a better and more fitting place to practice his necromantic limbs than in the depths of a densely wooded area?
Fleeters may find themselves trying to find the origin of small, purple and electrified orbs darting in between the trees. Trying to intercept them will lead to nothing more than an uncomfortable shock.
Perhaps they are more adventurous, looking for cryptids at night when they're more active? In the mists that ascend on the woods, the vivid and dark mists take form of a large skull with a gaping maw. The noise it creates is one that might sound like a death rattle. If they're close enough, they might find themselves bound to the spot by blinding terror. It passes, as all spells do, but the closer they are to the source, the stronger the feeling that grips them.
They could be unlucky enough to spot a small hoard of death spirits roaming about the trees. Upon closer inspection of them, their faces are skeletal and gaunt in appearance and are surrounded by a dark cloud that seems to want the spirits close.
The source? Well. A necromancer has to practice, doesn't he? ]
ii;; I Would Like to Lodge A Complaint
[ As always, the best place to acquire a drink will always be the local tavern where everyone tended to mingle and spend their well-earned money on watered-down drinks. Dorian, never one to pass down a drink, ends up there quite often, listening to the locals tell their tales of these creatures. Having seen such things as Nightmares and dragons, it's not much of a stretch to assume that these things exist... and yet ]
What are the odds that these 'sightings' are the exaggerated tales of a drunkard who saw a horse?
iii;; Cabin in the Woods || Closed to The Iron Bull
[ B'lire has really been the first chance they've gotten to get away from everything, and it proved to be the perfect place. Renting a small cabin in a secluded area had been a marvelous idea, if Dorian said so himself. Nothing but himself and Bull for as long as they wanted, free to do whatever they pleased within reason. There was the matter of one fur ball of energy that needed a bit of training, though Da'Fen was starting to learn what his new master expected.
With the fire going in the fireplace, Dorian settled himself on the couch in one of his warmer robes with a glass of wine in hand. The pup was stretched out in front of the fire with his head on his paws, attempting to give Dorian those pleading doe-eyes. The mage raises a finger at him. ]
Begging will not help to plead your case. Bull, you talk some sense into him.

Manji | Blade of the Immortal | OTA
[As soon as they landed Manji left his ship and very likely won't be returning any time soon. Wander long enough out in the woods and you'll find a small man made lean-to. It's a work in progress and will get better as the days go buy.
It's not hard to find the owner. Perhaps Manji just accidentally stole that rabbit you've been hunting. Maybe you're lost hunting for a mythical creature. Or maybe you saw the smoke from his fire. The usual grumpy samurai already feels a lot better being away from so much technology that he easily offers someone to come join him.] I got enough for two. Sit if you want.
Fishing
[Another activity Manji enjoys is fishing. In two different ways. His favorite way the classic laid back with a line in the water. Catch him half dozing by the riverbed waiting for a bite. He'll open an eye when he hears someone coming closer and give a nod of his head in welcoming you to join him.
The other way he occasionally fishes is to stand in the water with a large rock in his arms. He stands quietly for a few moments before he suddenly raises the rock over his hand and slams it down on top of another rock in the water. There's a loud crack and it may seem he's just being weird or perhaps training in some way until a few fish start to float up stunned in the water. Manji, unsurprising, starts to quickly gather them up.] You going to help or not?
Wood Ape
[Or maybe you're with Manji doing a bit of hunting when you come across a giant foot print.] What the fuck is that? [And what is those crashing noises in the bushes up ahead?]

Taako ★ OTA!
[It isn't a new system until Taako finds and steals something, right? Since Lup and Kravitz are off being cryptid horrors and making cash that way, Taako decides, why not get in on the action? He can't really fly around as a skeletal horror, but he can have fun other ways.
Right now? That involves getting people to be distracted on the other side of this hunting lodge he's in. And what better way to do that than to stir some shit with someone? Dressed down in furs and leathers and missing his wizard's hat, Taako looks like he could be any ol' hunter in this lodge if it weren't for the fact that he's an elf and entirely too recognizable to anyone on the Fleet. He slings an arm around someone at the bar and whispers into their ear:]
You wanna make a quick buck and help a fella out?
‣ B. Fear The Walking Steed
[After his successful getaway from the lodge and once enough time has passed, people wandering in the woods will be treated to the sound of shuffling hooves following them down the dark paths at night. Whenever someone stops, the sounds stop. Start walking again and the sound is closer than before. Through the trees, out of the corner of your eye, glowing wisps like two green eyes start to approach, winking out whenever they're spotted. Above the foliage of the underbrush, two antlers can be seen, taller than any deer has any right to be. It stalks people through the woods and then comes its terrifying cry, a deep and plaintive moan of:]
Graaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiinnnsssssss.
‣ C. Dat Slow Lyfe
[And sometimes, he can be found alone, feet propped up on a tree stump, wrapped up in his cloak, hat pulled down over his eyes with a stalk of grass stuck between his lips at the lakes and rivers of this world. Three fishing poles are stuck in the ground, held in place by a solid pile of rocks, and twined with silver thread. For all intents and purposes, he looks asleep, head low and face concealed. There's a small insulated box next to him, the lid of which is closed tight.
That is until someone approaches, and then his voice rings out alert and clear.]
Spot's taken. No poaching of my waters allowed.

Thor | OTA
The locals don't fail to notice the sizeable axe he's carrying around, and Thor's immediately tapped for some tree-felling work. While he scrunches up his nose a bit at the idea of using Stormbreaker for that, he ends up taking the job anyway. It's a new axe, it doesn't have the lofty history of Mjolnir. He'll cut down trees with it if he wants. He's usually out in the more remote woods, toppling the giant, more difficult trees with ease. It's simple work and maybe that's all he needs for now.
Other times Thor becomes a regular fixture at the lodge during the day, taking the time to chat to locals and Fleet passengers both. He even starts to blend in a little, having picked up some of the rustic flannel shirts that are so popular in the area. They remind him a lot of his first days on Earth; the clothes Jane had let him borrow. It's still a pleasant connection, even if tinged with loss.
Of course Thor also ends up haunting the lodge's bar most nights too. Not a surprise.]
closed: loki.
Even so, he checks in with his brother occasionally. If they can find some kind of equilibrium again... that's for the best, he thinks. Some semblance of the normality they'd had before. At very least he lets Loki know whether he's off in the wilderness for a few days or back at the lodge. That's what he did this morning; let Loki know he was back at the Gossiping Pines. Now it's evening and Thor's staring into the fireplace at the bar, flicking the occasional peanut into it.
It's not a riveting way to spend the evening, but he's a bit travel weary after spending days outdoors.]

Closed to Chekov
Plus he knows how much she liked getting money from it. The thief in him got the pirate in her.
However this time he had also recruited Pavel to help him out. He had hired him to help out at the bar, to be their drinks expert and to seek out new items to keep their customers interested and excited over new stuff, and to be able to match up alien drinks to something recognizable from Earth.
And he's even more grateful when Chekov suggested them trying the drinks first. Hey, how better to spend a long afternoon (and maybe evening) than drink testing?]
no subject
Pavel isn't much for pirating, but he does know his alcohol. By the time he and Remy meet, the Russian has prepped himself by studying the local offerings (it counts as studying, he even took notes!) and assembling a lineup of drinks to try.
What a great job.]
