[ Dorian turns to raise an eyebrow at Bull, silently daring him to make him do such a thing, while also impugning his ability. ] You do realize I lived on my own for months in the Ferelden wilds.

Yeah, you keep sayin' it, but I never see any proof. All I ever hear is whining about how the sheets are too rough.

Am I not allowed to uphold myself to some level of comfort? All Ferelden sheets felt as though they were woven with burlap.

[He chuckles.]

Not anymore, they're not. I had to see to that myself, didn't I?

Yeah, I guess so. It's almost like you were getting the bed ready for you.

I deserve to be comfortable no matter where I sleep. It just so happened that I would be inclined to stay longer were the sheets more comfortable.

[The Bull didn't respond immediately, instead taking a deep breath. He liked this, this intimacy, and watching the careful layers of Dorian's guard fall away when they were alone. He'd been thinking about this a lot, since Leilani had gone home, actually.]

Yes, yes. I'm well aware of how much your ego boosts when you've exhausted me enough to stay over. [ It's said with that chiding fondness that Bull is undoubtedly used to by now. ]

[ That..gives him pause. He has to question himself why it does- he is with Bull on the Heron often enough, but there is something quite a bit different about moving in with him. Yet, the prospect of having a change of scenery is nice. The Blue Fish is only memory, now, its halls feeling deceptively empty. ] I'm sure you'd grow tired of my presence eventually.

[ Dorian preens under the praise. ] I..suppose it wouldn't hurt to at least try it. [ Enough of his things have ended up staying in Bull's quarters, anyway. A stray book or two on the shelf above the bed, an extra set of clothes tucked away in the closet, some of his toiletries.. ]

[He pulls Dorian close, pressing his lips to the mage's.]

[ Dorian is pliant against him, humming into the kiss. ] Of course you are, you lummox. [ Said with the utmost adoration. ]

[And the rest of their evening proceeded as it so often did of late, and aside from a few commands, neither of them spoke until the deed was done, and they were bundled together before the waning fire.

The Bull moved his thumb in slow circles against Dorian's spine.]
