Keeeeeith. Don't sell yourself short. I wouldn't fall head over heels in desperate love with just anyone, you know? And totally want them like every breathing moment.

[Sorry, Lance. There were still a lot of areas in which your boyfriend's self-confidence was kind of shot.

Keith shrugged a little, that blush deepening a little more.]

[He just had trouble, sometimes, seeing how he was worth all the effort.]

[He leans forward to take his hand in his own, giving it a squeeze. Having self esteem issues of his own, he knows how hard it can be to believe in himself, but...]

I know. You... I don't I know what kind of man I'd be if I never met you. You've changed me, and in every way for the better. You're smart, you're a great paladin and leader. You're kind and sweet, incredibly caring. You're beautiful. Breathtaking. I don't know why you picked me of all people, but I've never been so lucky.

[Keith put his free hand on the crook of his other elbow.]

I feel like I'm lucky. You can see all that past everything else-

You're... a warm person. Selfless, brave, an amazing friend, loyal... you're really good at lifting someone's spirits and making them feel better about themselves. You always seem to just know when someone needs that extra pep talk.

[Oh, Keith... Every time he thinks that the other man can't make him happier, he does something like this. While it's not the first time Keith has said these sorts of words to him, it has the same strong effect every single time in making Lance incredibly emotional.

How the hell is he this lucky?]

We can go back and forth 'till we're blue in the face about who deserves better. But in the end, we deserve each other. I could not, and would not ask for anyone else. Not now. Not ever.

[Keith huffed another small chuckle. Yeah. They probably could.

He met Lance's gaze.]
