It seems I have spent a total of a year in this place and the, ah, viewers wish to celebrate. However most of this is useless to me, so I welcome anyone else taking them into their hands.

Why would there be movies about holidays?

'Cuz it makes Hollywood money. Those're the folks who make the movies, by the way.

Halloween and Christmas are probably the most popular ones; 'cuz like, Halloween's all creepy and shit and perfect for horror movies, and Christmas is for all the family-friendly, wholesome and warm inside bullshit movies.

Well, like I said, those holidays have certain feelings to them. So people make movies that're supposed to, I dunno, inspire those feelings or whatever.

Or sometimes they go the complete opposite direction. Honestly, it's just a cash grab.

Only some. Not everyone wants to be rich and live luxurious lives. Seems like a waste to me.
