[If there's anything this freaking ship loves, it's food. Somehow, a dinner got planned to welcome the new member. And then other people got invited. And then the dinner pretty much turned into a party with a lot of food. Needless to say, Kairi has been very busy preparing food all the day for this.

There's a lot of meat, per the captain's request. But there's also veggies, some fruit, pasta, and even brownies! There are also two pizza pies. Basically, Kairi just cooked a bunch of food and hoped it would be enough, as she had no idea how many people were coming.

SO DIG IN, BLUE FISH AND GUESTS. Also mingle and be social and all that jazz!]

[Sokka rally, deeply appreciates Kairi's existence on the Blue Fish. He'll be sitting at the table, eating from a plate of mostly meat. He's still not overly thrilled from the Aaron incident, so he's a little less talkative than usual.

But there's meat and it's delicious, so he is here. ]

[Don't mind Kairi as she pretty much collapses into a seat. She's a bit tuckered out at the moment, but she'll bounce back soon enough. It was just... a lot... of cooking. And some baking. But the food is done and set out, and now she can relax a bit. Oh, she'll join in the chatting and whatnot soon, but she needs a breather. Of course, she won't turn away anyone who comes up to talk. Just... don't expect her to get up right away.]

[A. STORYTIME/THE TALE OF SIR GUTS]

[Surrounded by food and friends? Yep, that's the making of a good time for Allen. Now that he has his eye back and the Aaron problem is taken care of, he's definitely in good spirits. So during dinner, conversations lead to one thing to another, until eventually people are sharing funny stories. You know how these meal times go. Tonight, it's the Tale of Sir Guts vs. the Automobile for anyone listening]

- Alright. So we wind up in this Earth city called Los Angeles. Full of technology like computers and cars- think of shuttles, but they can't leave the ground and they move with wheels.

Anyway, we all get dropped off at random spots in the city. I ended up at a university, I think. Now Guts and Arthur, they somehow end up on a road full of cars. And both of them were from medieval worlds. So they have no idea what a car is! And instead of stopping and asking what's going on- they assume they were an army of metal demons!

So what does Guts do? [He grins, holding back some laughter] He grabs Arthur, who is a six feet tall and royalty, and slings him onto his back like a rag doll! Then he takes his giant sword and starts beating cars with it! And he keeps going! Down the road, hitting cars left and right with this giant sword- all while a prince is clinging to his back!

Somehow it ended up being filmed, so it winds up being on television all over the city. And after the cops finally stopped them, Ino and I had to go bail them out of jail.

[He stops to laugh and take a drink out of his soda, possibly looking around to see if anyone else is going to tell a story or react]

[B. REGULAR HANG OUT]

[If story time isn't your thing, throughout the evening Allen can be found around! He's in a good mood today, and feels social enough to strike up conversations. Though most likely, he'll be eating all the food he can. Sweet, delicious food]

[ Ino's like, wiping her eyes. Because. She was laughing so hard about this as it was being told ]

And then he slept on a park bench all week cause he got evicted from his apartment ... !

[Kairi can't help but laugh, even as her expression is a little horrified. It is a pretty hilarious picture Allen is painting, though she hopes no one got too injured from his friend's confusion.]

No one gave him any information before he was left in the city?

Oh that's right! I'd forgotten about that! How'd did he get himself evicted again?

[It's okay only several paint jobs and headlights were injured. And he's snickering some at the memory]

Well we never got any warning before we were dropped into a new situation like that! You'd wake up and suddenly you're in a whole new place! So I supposed it'd be easy to forget to warn people about all the different things that might happen!

I mean, I would try to explain things to Arthur, but he'd never listen about anything. All he'd want to do is argue - so it was pointless to even try.

Well, I had my driver take him back to where his apartment was, but the landlord took one look at him as he was walking in and recognized him from the news. She was shouting something about how she didn't want any "thugs" in her building and told him to get out.

[Oh my god] Well, I guess I couldn't blame her. He was a bit thuggish.

But why didn't you let him stay with you? Weren't you rich during that world change?

I tried to, but there were a lot of paparazzi hanging around. Obviously, the rumors weren't a big deal, but they were pissing him off, and I didn't want him to go to jail again, you know?

Ah- I suppose throwing around reporters would make headlines.

[Even if the mental image is hilarious. Oh Guts]

[Fenris is only here because Hawke made him come. Social interactions are pretty much his idea of hell, and he's been largely avoiding everyone and sticking by Aveline. But this story has caught his attention, and as Allen goes deeper into it, he starts sinking slowly into his seat.

Because when he saw his first car in Las Vegas, the first thing he did was hit it with a giant sword. His response is kind of mumbled as he tries to melt into his seat. ]

It's an easy mistake to make if you have never seen one before.

Apollo told me you can get arrested for punching someone in America, you know. I guess you really have to be careful.

[Luckily for Fenris, there's a lot of noise and a lot of laughter going on- so Allen can't quite make out what's said by the mumbling. But at least, he hears him talking. He wipes his eye and glances over at Fenris. Which...he doesn't know Fenris personally- but man, you're a guy with a rep (that is mostly Ino hating on you). So there's slight caution]

Ah I'm sorry, did you say something?

Only if you do it in public and disturb the peace. Otherwise the police don't care unless a body turns up, at least in my time. I don't know how much that's changed in the future. [Good ol' Victorian ages man]

Though, I'm willing to bet he was exaggerating to keep you out of fights.

Oh, really? [Well, that did explain that, then.] Still, that doesn't seem like a good way to go about that. But then I guess it isn't much different where I'm from, either. The guys just sort of go into the worlds without... knowing much.

[She can only imagine the trouble Sora's gotten into because of it.]

You gotta love those types of people. [It does remind her of a few schoolmates...] Then he has only himself to blame if he has no idea what's going on then.

Well, that's probably true. He was kind of a stick in the mud.

[Allen was taking a drink, and he now nearly chokes on it from laughter from that memory. Oh crap. Have some coughing and he hits his chest]

Mm, it was always pretty startling! But after awhile, you got used to it a little. [But wait he looks over] Eh? You mean the guys would travel to different worlds?
