002. ☾ First contact { Action }
Who: Cecil and you!
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Planet, around!
When: October 24th, night
[ After sifting through the changes made to the ship with the disappearance of some of the crew, as well as making sure their newest addition settled in all right, Cecil is a little late making it out to explore the planet they've landed on. That said, she's not sure how it is that she managed to attract such a crowd of natives, much less how they managed to keep her busy with being led around their quaint, dusty home all day. One thing just led to another and she's been sight-seeing and answering an awful lot of questions about herself.
It's now nighttime, she's unwittingly tried enough lighter fluid-flavored liquor to render her a little drunk, and it seems her small following is leading her inside the brothel next. It's unclear whether or not she realizes where they're going, but she's also got a handful of those red stones and she's in a pretty good mood, so she's content to be led along.
Honestly, it's been a trying past couple weeks and she needed this chance to unwind, really. Maybe not quite this much, but beggars can't be choosers. ]

action!
so, his crowd and her crowd are probably on a melding course outside the doors--some locals from one party recognizing some from the others, bringing them all together. whoo!]
no subject
Nel!
no subject
[he grins and gravitates in her direction--his automatic reaction when he spots a face that he recognizes through the intoxicated haze.
...and it's only a delayed moment or two after that, as he gets close, that where the hell he knows her from finally clicks. along with remembering the fact that he's on some weird planet and that recognizing someone should make absolutely no sense at all. his eyes widen suddenly with the shock of it.]
--Cecil??
no subject
How long have you been here? We've been looking for you! Rin and Robin and me!
no subject
[and though he's very glassy-eyed, shock and disbelief is slowly making its way onto his face]
What do you mean? ...Where did you even come from??
no subject
The same place as you! We were taken from where we were before and brought to those ships.
no subject
[he looks around, like he might actually see where she came from, or happen to spot Robin or Rin nearby. it's all only hitting him as half-real, getting distracted and confused on its way through all the intoxication]
...You've been on the ships?
no subject
[ She gives his arm a little shake, as though trying to keep his attention. ]
Rin and Robin were assigned to one ship. I'm on another.
no subject
Rin and Robin?
no subject
[ This is getting even more worrying and suddenly Cecil feels kind of sober. ]
no subject
[again his attention is on her again, more focused as he tries harder]
But... they're here?
[he'd thoroughly accepted the fact that he'd never see them again, so undoing that work with a wasted brain is not really that easy]
no subject
[ And had an awkward moment with Robin, so, uhhh... No. No, it's best to forget that. ]
no subject
[again, looking around like Robin is going to be visible somewhere in the crowd right nearby.
he is way too drunk for this conversation.]
...It's probably just somebody who looked like him, maybe. Everybody here is all... [and he gestures at his own face, probably in reference to the facepaint thing]
no subject
And frankly, she's too drunk for this too. ]
All right, all right... where were you headed?
1/2
[he's delayed in returning his attention, and then slowly scanning out in the other direction, trying to figure out what he'd been doing before. he's still bothered, busy trying to parse everything she'd told him.
...but if there is anything that Nel is an absolute pro at, it's blatantly ignoring things that are hard to think about, and diving headlong into a distraction. and that's what happens when he remembers.]
2/2
[he suddenly grins when he remembers--pointing at the sign for the brothel and shooting Cecil a devlish little look]
...I was going there.
Re: 2/2
What place is this?
no subject
A brothel, maybe.
no subject
I-I... "Maybe"?
no subject
[he teeters a little from looking up at the sign for too long, but he straightens out just fine once his gaze is back at eye-level.]
But there's a smaller sign that says 'something something sex,' so I think that's what it is.
no subject
Oh...
no subject
Heeeey... Where're you going?
no subject
S-Somewhere that's not... "something something sex".
no subject
