002. ☾ First contact { Action }

[ After sifting through the changes made to the ship with the disappearance of some of the crew, as well as making sure their newest addition settled in all right, Cecil is a little late making it out to explore the planet they've landed on. That said, she's not sure how it is that she managed to attract such a crowd of natives, much less how they managed to keep her busy with being led around their quaint, dusty home all day. One thing just led to another and she's been sight-seeing and answering an awful lot of questions about herself.

It's now nighttime, she's unwittingly tried enough lighter fluid-flavored liquor to render her a little drunk, and it seems her small following is leading her inside the brothel next. It's unclear whether or not she realizes where they're going, but she's also got a handful of those red stones and she's in a pretty good mood, so she's content to be led along.

Honestly, it's been a trying past couple weeks and she needed this chance to unwind, really. Maybe not quite this much, but beggars can't be choosers. ]

[he's touched. and after a moment, he stops... and... turns around. he was going the wrong way. but it's fine now!]

[ At least one of them is kind of paying attention. That's good news, right? ]

[he walks them quietly for a little but, buuuuut...]

Hey, am I allowed to say that you smell nice? Or is that creepy?

[ Oh, Robin. ]

...No more than asking if you can pet my hair or touch my face.

[ Speaking of which, she's gonna just hook her chin over his shoulder and idly play with the hair at the back of his neck, kind of like one would idly pet a cat's tail or something. ]

Oh, and that went over pretty well! So does that mhnngn--

[o-oh. /// maybe it's just because he's drunk, but his happy little hum sounds almost like a cat purring...]

[ Oh my. What a strange noise. She doesn't think he's ever made a noise like this before. So of course she keeps doing it. ]

[o-oh no he's starting to giggle...]

That's nice...

[aaah scrunches up his shoulders, even though he's still holding on to Cecil... he's a distracted driver, this is dangerous!]

[ So surely this means she should just do it more, right? Of course! ]

You still like attention to your hair.

There's all those nerves back there...

[he tries to shake his head, to get her fingers off of him.]

It's not my fault, okay. I can't help it...

[ She's enjoying herself flustering him now, so she doesn't stop, slipping her fingers up through his hair and curling them in the white locks. She also begins nuzzling him under his neck.

Sober, she would have put some distance between them a while ago. Right now though? She's drunk and she misses affection and attention, so she's kind of soaking this up like a sponge. ]

Ceciiil... [oh, it is the whiniest of whines. he's got a big stupid grin on his face. it's a wonder he hasn't stumbled over something like this.] I'm gonna drop you.

Gentlemen don't drop people.

[ So deal with it!! Because she still doesn't stop ]

[which is kind of a wonder that he was able to say it right on the first try.]

We're going to the ship, remember?

Such a scolding from the man who kissed me for no good reason.

[ She's unimpressed and she pulls a bit of his hair to show it. ]

That was not for no reason! You were practically like, kissing me first anyway.

[oh man hey look there are the ships! they made it! ...which one is his, again? probably that one.]

[ It's a good thing he mostly knows where it is, because Cecil is too busy being scandalized to so much as look at the ships at all at the moment. ]

I did not! I did not kiss you on the mouth! Besides, you only kiss someone like that when you have romantic intentions! And not because you're friends with them! I kissed you because I miss you greatly! But I didn't start that sort of kiss— you're the one who started it!

Oh Goooooods, okay okay okay.

[he leans against the entry pad... a couple of times... before it finally accepts the mashing and the hatch opens.]

Okay, but I still... Think... I had a point in there? Somewhere. Hey, do you ever get that thing where you think about something for so long that it stops making sense? Like how to spell words and stuff.

[ She sounds a little unsure of what he's talking about, but even so, she agrees. ]

Like... saying a word so much... it seems to lose its meaning.

Yeah, like that. Like I looked at "in" the other day. And I was like, what even is "in"? I mean I know it's a direction, but "in"? Why that sound? What's th--oh.

[he stubbed his toe on the first step. :X but he steps up again like it was nothing. welcome to the SS Bloodsport, Cecil!]

Yeah, so stuff like that.

[ Robin is so graceful. Cecil digs her nails in a little when she's jostled, momentarily afraid he's going to drop her before he proves to be pretty sturdy to hang onto in spite of hitting his foot. Not even arriving on the Bloodsport finally really does anything for her. The ship is so unimpressive that she just abruptly changes the subject of their conversation. ]

Do you ever wish people from Court were here?

Huh?

[he closes the door behind them, and the little lights turn on around the ship. seems pretty quiet. everyone else must be out having a good time. he'll wander them in the direction of the "bedroom".]

Well, there was that demon guy I really liked. But no one else, really...

"Demon guy"?

[ She's wracking her brain trying to remember such a person, but so far nothing is coming to her. ]

Well, okay, they might not have been a guy. Or a girl. They were kind of merker-- mer-cur-ial.

[it's a short trip to their rooms, so... Cecil will find herself being gently put down on a bed. cot. calling it a "bed" is still generous.]

[ She can't even remember what that word means right now, so she just kind of lies there on the cot looking up at him, puzzled. ]

Name, Robin. What was their name?

Ffff... [oooh boy, he is searching for a word, here.] Twixt? Rattle. Rathel. [blink. blink.] I mean Ravel, their name was Ravel.
