[Is the Pathstone more capable with a captain missing and another one replace with someone who does their job? How many people can fit into a captain's nest? Why is there a captain's nest? Has Solas painted the entire interior of the ship yet? Has Cole talked to each and every plant? Has Duke discovered that his ship has been previously worthless since basically the beginning of time? Will Crowley ever try to get his captain status back?

Tune in now for the answers to these questions and more in this episode of As The Pathstone Turns!]

[When Jove jumps, Cassandra fully expects to hear a bang or otherwise sudden and loud noise from Jove hitting her head. So Cassandra bends down about halfway, stopping when no sound comes and Jove manages to spare herself the head injury. Cassandra feels immediately a little guilty because way to almost knock her out, Cassandra. S m o o t h. Note to self: make a little more noise next time.]

Of course.

[She straightens and waits patiently for Jove to work her way back out.]

Ugh, [Cassandra rolls her eyes.] I don't think you really want to know the answer to that, Inquisitor.

[As always, Cassandra's opinion is critical and somewhat harsh. She's found herself irritated by more than just a small handful of the other members of the fleet. But she's settled well enough.]

[No one's died yet. She hasn't really hit anyone either.]

[It seems to occur to Cassandra in that exact moment who she's speaking to. Right. Of course the Inquisitor knows what that's like. Cassandra half-expects the conversation to take a more serious turn. She certainly looks momentarily caught off-guard by the remark, but Jove is smiling and moves away from the topic.]

If you have the time. I can always come back another time if you don't. I know you're busy with... [She looks at the engine with a vague gesture.] Things.

[Cassandra falls in line behind Jove as she leads the way, stopping when she does.]

The kitchen is fine.

[If Jove is seriously going to ask for her opinions on things, she doesn't really have any that she wouldn't say to anyone else right now. In fact, while she has no intention of ranting, she starts in anyway.]

I thought dealing with Sera at times was trying, but some of the people here...

[She comes close to growling. Her frustration is palpable.]

They treat this like it's a game simply because they were brought here for the purpose of entertainment. Or they seem to take a great amount of pleasure in arguing or making things as difficult and complicated as possible.

[Cassandra sits, resting an arm on the table and shaking her head. She knows Jove isn't trying to make excuses, but it still doesn't sit well with her that some take this less than serious when there are real possible dangers at every turn. But she won't say anything further on the matter right now. There's something else that stands out in her mind and she fixes Jove with a serious look.]

I should thank you. For looking after Cullen.

I'm sure by now he's given you more gratitude for it than you know what to do with, but I also appreciate it, Inquisitor. It puts my mind at ease to know he has so many that would look after him and ease his suffering.

[She isn't going to say anything about Solas, however. She hasn't had a chance to speak with him yet and it seems unfair of her to say anything until she knows his side of things.]

[Cassandra would like to believe the best in people, but she requires actions and not just words. She can never just assume.]

Perhaps, [she says with a small nod. It's a nice thought if nothing else. But really, at the end of the day, it's down to Cullen. She has a feeling Jove knows that as well.] The others seem to be managing fine on their own.
