[and sometime around the midpoint of the month, after the dragon has had time to rearrange himself and complete his healing, he finally returns 'home'... to find the ship looking nothing like how he'd left it.

quietly, without warning or announcement, he makes his way aboard and begins his inspection.

Wherever Solas is, he will eventually find him.]

[ Solas is out for a walk of his own when he feels company, eyes on him, something he is used to feeling - the weight of grudging respect or, in more cases, the way that eyes narrow in judgement as they see that he is an elf, an apostate, a magic user that knows more than he should.

He turns his head, looks, and offers a nod, the best of a bow of greeting, but he says nothing.

If the stranger wishes to speak to him he ought to begin first, he thinks. ]

[and begin first he shall-- voice soft and cold as he gives the stranger an up-and-down glance, making little effort to hide the fact that he is assessing.]

...And who might you be?

[ And, in return, he gets something much the same; a cool gaze, dragging over his body with some consideration in it, learning as much as he can from a single sweep. ]

I am Solas.

[he doesn't seem too convincingly human, but not obviously something else either, and he wears the default Atroma jumpsuit as though he's definitely meant to be in something else. generally out of sorts, and hard to read clearly because of it.]

Resident or visiting?

[ He frowns, considering, letting his eyes dance over him for a moment before he simply... Smiles. He just smiles, leaning back and offering a tilt of his head. ]

Resident. Not for long, but a resident all the same.

[he isn't one to be put at ease with a smile, but he returns the expression all the same. and it likely doesn't mean the sorts of things that a look like that normally would.]

Of course. ...And what do you do, Solas?

Support.

[ Solas adjusts, arms crossing behind his back. He's not sure where this is going, but he's being careful with each movement. ]

Personnel Support, exactly.

[being careful is good--he likes that. motion tells him a lot, and it's always encouraging to find someone actually mindful of it.

so, he continues to watch and question, apparently not ready to offer up information of his own just yet.]

Ah. That station seems to be the most undefined of all of them, I think. How do you interpret the role for yourself?

[ Solas seems particularly calm, just watching, unsure what moves to make - other than to watch, formal. ]
