Who: Pathstone crew + ANYONE EVER WOW
Broadcast: nah bro
Action: YAH BRO

[Is the Pathstone more capable with a captain missing and another one replace with someone who does their job? How many people can fit into a captain's nest? Why is there a captain's nest? Has Solas painted the entire interior of the ship yet? Has Cole talked to each and every plant? Has Duke discovered that his ship has been previously worthless since basically the beginning of time? Will Crowley ever try to get his captain status back?
Tune in now for the answers to these questions and more in this episode of As The Pathstone Turns!]

[She says it with a completely straight face, too.]

Lucky halla.

You think so, do you? Perhaps you'd be allowed to observe next time if it's for the sake of learning more about Dalish culture.

And why is that?

That isn't a short conversation, you know. If you have any specific questions it may go faster.
no subject
I know. Maybe I want a long conversation. Maybe I want to hear everything.
no subject
[Unless he's wanting to have all their conversations with him on top of her.]
no subject
[No, please. Tell him. He's enjoying this, but he can sit up, too!]
no subject
I could do it on my back if that's what you'd prefer.
[She'll just let that sink in a little before moving on.]
Perhaps I'll start by telling you about the elven goddess my vallaslin is for. Her name was Ghilan'nain, and it was her that filled the land and skies and seas with monsters of every description. She was called the mother of halla.
[Reaching for his hand, she brings it up to her face and guides his fingers to rest over her eyebrow.]
Do you see how the lines here make antlers?
no subject
Is that what they are? I've always wondered.
no subject
You could have asked, you know. I would have told you.

I know. That's why you'd be allowed to ask. [After a pause that has her looking only the tiniest bit torn, she continues.] If there's anything you ever want to know, you would never have to fear me being upset over it. I would like it if you felt comfortable enough to ask me anything you'd like.
[Which is a bit different than how she handled things in Thedas. As the Inquisitor she kept a number of things close to the chest, not the least of which being her feelings about her role for the Inquisition. There had been a lot she chose to never make known, fears and choices and feelings she had kept locked behind the face of the Inquisitor at all times.
But there's no way to know how long they'll be where they are now, and that gives her the chance to set aside that mask. There's no reason to keep everything to herself now and she finds she doesn't mind the idea of Cullen learning everything there is to know about her.]
no subject
Especially as of late.
He's not one to rock the boat.]
no subject
Absolutely anything.
no subject
You and I--
[He stops, frowning, though it's all at himself and his inability to talk about such things. It hasn't gone well for him, here.]
--whatever this is...
no subject
Not that he's gotten very far. Maybe he needs help? Or maybe he just needs a moment to find the words. She'll wait, still gently stroking his cheek with her thumb, to see if he manages to fill in the blanks for her.]

I can promise you that if I didn't, you wouldn't have to ask to be sure. I would tell you.
[And he certainly wouldn't be getting as many kisses as he does, let alone be allowed to be on top of her like he is.]
There are times I worry I'm not the exact person you came to care for before you found me here. We don't share the same memories, and I thought - [Apparently it's her turn to lose the ability to say what she means to say. She takes a moment, frowning thoughtfully, before just phrasing it the only way that makes sense to her.] Well, I suppose I thought you might realize I wasn't the woman you expected and be disappointed.
no subject
We have our time here. I can't be disappointed with that.
