aurae le paulmier | ota
[as soon as she's shuffled from the Marsiva, Tempest wastes no time in fleeing to the planet itself, stir-crazy from a week of being in one place. She'd never been good at sitting still, and being forced to do it has only kept her annoyance at a low boil almost the entire time, just waiting to explode. The shuffle comes at the perfect time.
Of course, upon arrival and even with fair warning, she's immediately overwhelmed by how welcoming and friendly the locals are. It isn't the empathy that bothers her, but the touching and the hugs and the hand-holding and it confuses her, because normally one look at her is enough to chase anyone off. But not here. She's left staring dumbly most of the time, before she shakes herself out of it and makes her way to and through the market.
The original plan was to get to the forest as quickly as possible, but it's hard not to stop and look around, despite the overwhelming greetings. This is all new to her and it reminds her just a little of home, and she can't help but take a moment to stop and peek in when something catches her eye. She's never been one for shopping, but . . . well. It doesn't hurt to admire the wares, right? Right]
b. forest/beach;
[eventually, she makes her way to her destination and immediately her mood is improved. She's always felt more at place amongst the trees rather than in the busy streets of a market or a city, and the forest is huge and beautiful and just waiting for her to explore. Until she gets used to it she keeps close to the paths, but it certainly wouldn't be strange to find nothing but her armor and her cloak at the base of a tree and to find her on a branch above, relaxing or fiddling with the strange communicator she was given.
But there's also a beach, and aside from a few times in another world, she's never properly been there. She isn't the sort to sunbathe or even remove the layers of clothing she hides under, but rather she'll remove her boots and walk along the waterline, letting sand slip between her toes and enjoying it for what it is. When the markets prove to be too packed she'll take the long way around, walking along the beach with her boots hanging from her hand, making her trip to the forests via the scenic route]
c. wildcard;
[what happens when you put a half-elf on a foresty planet? You can find her literally anywhere. Feel free to come up with your own prompt!]

Clover!

Lace. Goodness, they are rather friendly down here.

[a small smile]
Regardless, would you like to find someplace less crowded?
no subject
[she'd still feel bad and that's weird]
Please, if we could.
b!
The calm of everything gets him so distracted that he does not see the woman that is approaching him from the other side.]
Oh, gods! [Right before it can end up in quite a wet and awkward collision he snaps out of it, raising his hands in a defensive way.] I did not see you.
no subject
She startles and snaps her attention to Robb, her hands coming up defensively as well. There's a brief moment of utter embarrassment, that she let he guard down long enough to be startled this badly, but it's there and gone when she remembers that sort of unease wasn't necessary here. Or so she was told]
Goodness. [a hand goes to her chest, over heart] I did not see you either. My apologies.
no subject
Oh no, my apologies. I should have looked better. [He takes a small step back and waves a hand in a dismissing way.] I got lost in thoughts.
[He tends to get lost in thoughts a lot lately.]
Thank the gods no one fell over and got wet.
no subject
She waves a dismissive hand, pulling up a faint smile] But it is hard not to get lost in thought while walking here, so I accept your apology, if you will accept mine.
no subject
[After laughing a little about his own joke he nods deeply.]
That seems only fair. Apologies accepted, my lady.
no subject
I would certainly hope so, otherwise I would have no other choice but to tease you, and that seems rude to do to a stranger.
[she says, as if she's ever cared about manners]
And yours as well, good sir.
no subject
If I would have to fall into the water I will take you with me, my lady. It would be unfair if I would be the only one ending up with wet clothes.
[Well, Robb does care about manners. His position demands that of him.]
Call me Robb, my lady.
no subject
[though it's cute he keeps calling her that. She might let is slide]
Well met, Robb. You may call me Tempest.
no subject
Without the title of lady, I assume?
[Normally he would not have spoken in such a bold way but well, Robb wants to try his best to adjust to a more modern lifestyle. Or whatever that may be.]
no subject
no subject
[It is very pleasant to be just Robb instead of ‘your grace’ or ‘my king’.]
no subject
[though, past experiences does bring a question to mind, and she gives him a curious look]
Are you some manner of lord, then?
[she knows a princess who doesn't like the title, either]
no subject
I have been. [A long time ago and in some place far, far away.] Once. [He shrugs and flashes her a smile.] It does not really matter here in a place like this.
Our roles are different here.
no subject
[it wouldn't change anything; titles to her are just another way to tease those she's grown fond of, and not something she's prone to taking seriously. Even in her own world]
I imagine they are very different roles from what you are used to.
no subject
[Robb tucks his hands into the pockets of his modern pants, quite liking this entire concept of having pockets there.]
I am not much of an entertainer, I am afraid. Other roles would suit me better.
no subject
[she wrinkles her nose in distaste] I do not like the idea of being entertainment for others. I already had my fill of that elsewhere.
no subject
I like it not either. Yet they force it upon me. All I have to do is perform some sort of dance.
